Stay away from this company. I hired Andrew to do a full house remodel and greatly regret using him for my project. It was stressful from start to finish and many of the items agreed upon at the signing of the contract were never completed, mostly having to do with his electricians and plumbers. The ones that were completed were substandard. He has little to no control over his workers, some of whom showed up to work drunk. One of them actually admitted it to me and I had to send him home. The language barriers are enormous and he hides behind the vagueness of his communication when it suits him. Maybe the worst part was listening to him try and cover up their mistakes even going so far as to accuse me of sabotaging the project when it was clearly their mistake. I didn't crack my own toilet and cause the shower doors to close improperly. I didn't paint two rooms the wrong color or a slew of other issues that his workman clearly botched. He has one good guy in there - the cabinets. That's it. Even those were filled with scratches and missing spots before I took possession. Don't be fooled by the meek and mild manner that he approached his consultations with, you'll meet a different guy after you hand him your deposit. If I had more time I'd probably file a lawsuit. I would hate to think anyone else would have to be subjected to this unprofessional, boarding on criminal behaviour. Save yourself the time, money and anguish and call someone else. Having someone mess up your home is intolerable and feels terrible. You get what you pay for and this company is cheap. Don't be me. Best of luck. read more

Andrew is amazing. I recently painted my living room (with 25' ceilings), kitchen and family room. Including the ceilings. I obtained 4 painting quotes from a variety of companies. Andrew's wasn't the least expensive but it wasn't the most expensive either. But I could tell when he came to look at the job and do the quote he had many years of experience. He assessed the job and quickly provided me with a quote. The painting team arrived 15 minutes early and what was originally estimated to take 1.5 days only took 1 full day. Awesome awesome job, Andrew even stopped by 2x to make sure everything was going well. He's very responsive and has a fabulous crew. They did a fabulous job cleaning up everything after they were done too. 100% happy with their work and will definitely use them again in the future. read more

I asked JG Decor to paint my family room and fireplace, Andrew ( the estimator) showed up in 2 hours and gave me a quote. It was a little on the expansive side, but we managed to get to the middle ground. The work was fast and professional, they even helped me to install the TV mount on the fireplace. I needed to update my rental property with new flooring and paint. I got four quotes and they were all in the same ballpark, so I went with JG Decor because the price was good and I thought Andrew was very professional. They did the demo on my floors and replaced with laminate and carpet. They painted all the wood stair railings and all the cabinets white, which had been natural wood color previously. They also painted the walls. I wasn't on site during the process, but I checked in every few of days to see the progress. The crew was friendly and conscientious. They did an excellent job and seemed to really take pride in their work. Andrew was very responsive to any questions and seemed to have a good handle on all aspects of the work. Andrew was quite prompt with his responses. However, there was a bit of miscommunication between us at first. Andrew was quick to resolve the problem to make me a satisfied customer in the end by making sure I was happy . I just wish he would mention in the beginning that he will not be doing the work himself but his crew members will. I guess I could have asked for a more details. That was my lesson to be learned. I had JG Decor redo my cabinets and they did an excellent job. Our previous contractor did a horrendous job on our kitchen cabinets - drawers were misaligned, glue was everywhere, and screws were puncturing through the plywood. The guy even flipped the top and bottom of the cabinets so that the screws were visible from within the cabinet. My wife and I were upset and disheartened by the fact that our brand new cabinets (which had cost us thousands of dollars) were being ruined. I didn't think anything could be salvaged, but Andrew and Peter(aka Pedro) did an AMAZING JOB! I was extremely surprised as to how well they fixed everything! They somehow (i have no idea how) got rid of the glue, realigned all the cabinets, and filled in punctures with wood filler and repainted the damaged areas. The work they had to do was more difficult than simply assembling new cabinets because they had to undo all the bad work. Not many contractors are willing to follow up the botched up work of a previous contractor (i know because i had called several), but JG decor was willing to step up. Also the price was more than fair! They were far more affordable than others I had called. Thank you Andrew and Pedro! Also as a side note, Pedro makes his own cabinets! He uses thicker plywood so that the sturdiness is ensured. If i had known this I would have totally gone with him (these custom cabinets however are more expensive. He also makes bookcases, entertainment centers, and wood shutters and does crown molding. I was thinking about having Pedro work on our shutters, but that might be a project for next time. I also need to add that the owner, Andrew, is a pleasure to work with. Some contractors tend to have a bad attitude or questionable character, but Andrew was respectful and HONEST. I had him look at our kitchen tiles which were slightly misaligned and he said that he could work on them but because the tiles weren't the best, he wouldn't be able to do much more. So he suggested we keep them as they were. But since my wife and I wanted a second opinion, we talked with another contractor who ASSURED us that he could align them PERFECTLY. Trusting that this contractor could fulfill his words, we went ahead and redid the kitchen floor with those same tiles, and it was laid down exactly the same - crooked. Needless to say, we were pretty upset and fired the guy; and we were out $2000 I think back as to how I should've just listened to Andrew. Anyway, go with JG decor and you won't be disappointed! read more
