My phone did NOT eat first here- I did. Literally everything we got was so good. I can't recommend the Monomoy enough- the roast beef with melted cheese AND an aus jus dip? C'monnnn. The Swift Rock (chicken parm) was packed with flavor and the Steps Beach (turkey salad) was loaded to the brim with turkey salad. Even the brownies and cookies are good! Highly recommend, will absolutely be back to try more! This location has 4 indoor tables and several outdoor, and you can have your food in like 10 minutes! Can't beat that. read more

Jetties has one of the best hot subs in the area, I have yet to try a cold sub here just because I'm so hooked on the Monomoy lmao, idk i just can't get enough of that sub, also doesn't help that it's right around the corner from my job! lol. I have used Jetties catering several times for office lunches and the service has always been fantastic. It arrives on-time (if not early), the driver always sets it up neatly and people are always excited that we're having Jetties for lunch since everyone loves their sandwiches. I usually purchase sandwiches from Jetties for lunch through DoorDash. So when my manager asked me to cater lunch for 20 plus Directors, I knew Jetties would be the best place to order. Not only do you have a great selection to choose from, the sandwiches are always fresh. Michaela Niles, the catering manager was quite knowledgeable about any questions I had. The delivery person brought the food and assisted with the set up. The food arrived on time which is usually my biggest concern. Could be way, way better. I ordered a "make your own sandwich". it was 20 dollars. There was nothing on it. Turkey, cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayo. ME: "Hey can I have some sliced pickles on this?" If I could leave no stars I would. I have placed two separate orders via jetties website (fyi they have changed their order system for deliveries) once on Friday 12/9 and today 12/13 orders came through (got email confirmations for both) then no delivery - the sandwich never came I called the store and the person on the other end of phone said it's a new system and this is my problem with door dash. Jetties your sandwich's may be good but your systems and customer service suck - I have indigestion from this experience. Avoid this place for deliver at all costs. Ps still waiting for my refund guys... read more

My first and only visit to Jetties was with my daughter, when we were looking for a place to get some reasonably quick food, but also take a relaxing break from our busy day. Jetties fit the bill perfectly, offering a cool haven from the heat. (The vibe was clean, urban...yet casual too). And we loved our food: -- French dip: My girl was over-the-moon on her sandwich, though admittedly she was really hungry at that point. There wasn't much talking going on. (But plenty of raves afterwards) -- Tuna salad on Rye: Just what I was craving and really hit the spot squarely. Came with lettuce, tomato, cucumber. (I held the cheese, cuz cheese with tuna is just wrong). Super fresh, well-made, and actually too big for me to finish. Perfect with a lemonade and small bag of chips. Pretty much a 5-star experience, but I never give a place 5 stars based on a single visit, so I won't. The End. read more

The sandwiches themselves are delicious, albeit a little pricey. If you can order online or catch a less crowded period of time, this Nantucket-themed sandwich shop is an excellent choice. However, if you hit up this spot at prime time, you're going to be disoriented and waiting a long time. It's not very organized at the counter, and it wasn't clear what order a lot of the items were coming out. In true NW DC style, patrons got antsy and vocal about the disorder while the two people behind the counter tried to get it together. I've never seen such slow service. I have been standing here for over 10 minutes. No one has acknowledged me. They made the wrong shake and took 5 minutes to remake it while I waited. The 2 guys in the back stood around doing literally nothing except struggle to read the receipt on how to fill a doordash order. I feel like I've gone slightly retarded just witnessing this. Simple and straightforward ordering process, just remember what you ordered because they don't take names. I go between the Crunchy Boi and the Marisa Tomei Eats Free, which are both great. The Crunchy Boi is probably their most popular sandwich and it's lighter than you would think considering it's filled with potato chips. I think it's worth trying once. The Marisa Tomei, on the other hand, has never failed me. It's balanced with an absurd amount of arugula against the meat, and it's never dry. The portions are generous, like you could definitely split it into two meals, but they're not so heavy that you couldn't finish a sandwich in one sitting.

The perfect flakiness and texture. I enjoyed the chicken fontina and Italian. The caprese was my least favorite--not sure if they use a balsamic or what, but the flavor wasn't coming through. Before I left, I decided to order a large chicken cheesesteak to take home for lunch the next day. It was a bit of a risk to order a hot sandwich that I would have in the fridge overnight but I heated it up in our air fryer/toaster oven for all of 10 mins and the bread was good (not soggy) and the sandwich itself was delicious. I enjoyed it so much, I didn't stop to take a photo until the last bite :) It's a decent size sandwich--I ate half for lunch (along with my own chips and veggies) and have another half for tomorrow so while it's not cheap, I think it's reasonable.
