The staff have treated me with kindness and respect, and I always feel welcome. I especially appreciate how they check in throughout my visit. The food is always delicious and satisfying, and the drinks are consistently refreshing, especially on a warm, spring day. The café itself is also very beautiful and photogenic! The large glass windows make the space feel so bright and energizing. One employee in particular, Mae, is always so sweet, attentive, and ready to help whenever I need assistance. Ambiance: This place is simply cute and cozy, perfect for breakfast or lunch. Service: nothing spectacular to report, I felt like the staff could use some customer service training. Food: I ordered the chicken and avocado (not pictured) in simple words, the sandwich was tasty but there were a few things that would take it over the top: 1- the sandwich lacked a hearty serving of chicken. They were finely diced and scarce. 2- the avocado spread was tasty 3- the spinach was way too much and it overpowered the already scarce chicken. 4- the melted cheese soaked through the bread and made it really oily. While the sandwich was a tasty, I think that a few improvements can definitely help. Needless to say their pastries are delish so I'd likely return for just that. read more

I ordered a special seasonal smoothie called the Bondi Blue Smoothie by REEF (described as a tropical smoothie inspired by the Aussie coast. In partnership with REEF, this smoothie is a blend of banana, mango puree, almond milk, blueberries, vegan cream, protein powder, and blue spirulina). It was SO good and refreshing! Incredibly fresh, unique flavors, not too sweet, and perfectly blended. I would order it a thousand times and still not feel I got enough. The staff were friendly and efficient, the interior has sooo much seating space, plus there is an endless outdoor patio that has really nice vibe. I've been to Bluestone a few times in different locations but this spot is definitely spacious. I arrived around 3 pm new pick up a mobile order and it was packed inside. Ordered their iced vanilla latte with a bogo deal so I ended up getting a second beverage for free. Coffee is strong but not over powering. I also really enjoy their avocado toast and some of their smoothies. They are however pretty pricey for what it's worth. read more

Served with a side of syrup, they're my favorite breakfast. For lunch I love the chili scramble toast. The vibe of this place is immaculate, as long as there aren't kids screaming at the top of their lungs for extended periods of time like the last time I visited... The restaurant has tons of natural light through almost floor to ceiling windows. The servers are super efficient. The coffee setup is cute with the cornflower blue cup and saucer, although hot coffee in a glass bottle can be a hit precarious when pouring. I enjoyed my Vegetarian Big Brekkie with halloumi, poached eggs, avocado, kale and vegs. My companion enjoyed their folded eggs with chimichurri sauce too. Very respectful manager, I think his name was charles. He was very nice. Saw him talk to many tables to assure their service was great. My server was mae, she was very helpful with knowing things on the menu. Picked out a couple things because of her recommendation and I really liked it. Great spot for sitting outside on a nice day. Cute little cafe, fresh food and a few drinks. Lots of coffee/tea options too, although didn't feel very Australian lol. The breakfast burrito (with lentils!yum) came with a simple, fresh salad. The baked green eggs were great, served hot with lots of spinach, tomato, and mushrooms. This place is hands down 5 stars. Every single individual that makes up the team there shows up with insane kindness. My coffee order is a large iced mocha oat milk and the best part is going to pick it up and chatting with the manager Sasha-- always brightens my day. They really make you feel apart of the community. On top of just being a stellar crew of humans, the food goodness and presentation is very well done. It's nice to have consistent quality and service like they have. I know that's a hard thing to achieve and it takes a lot of efforts unseen by me, someone that arrives for the experience, to stop and appreciate that effort. The location is just a gorgeous slice of big windows and light blue interior and I honestly could stay there all day. Cheerfully sleek and inviting Aussie cafe with excellent coffee and menu offerings. The "Brekkie All Day" section of the menu was enough to get my attention. It offers a range of items from avocado toast to a more substantial burger or big brekkie entree. I opted for the athlete's burrito, which was very tasty. I found the smoothies to be a little high on the ice content to warrant the price tag, but the food was excellent. Bluestone Lane also has a very decent children's menu. The Australian fairy bread was an especially big hit with the under 5 crowd. The children's grilled cheese was also a good portion, with seasoned wedge fries. Service was quick and friendly. The cafe has a handful of outdoor tables, plus spacious indoor seating with high ceilings. The noise level was pretty minimal during our visit and there is good spacing between tables. Went to Bluestone Lane with a few friends for brunch over the weekend. I was really pleased with the ambiance and natural lighting-- tons of big windows and lots of space for seating and moving around. The coffee menu was extensive and had a variety try of teas, espresso options, both hot and iced. Each coffee is served in an adorable blue cup with beautiful latte art on the top. The brunch menu had a variety of options that included a lot of eggs, avocado and unique bowls with grains and proteins. I ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes which were served with lemon curd, fresh berries and edible flowers. The maple syrup on the side was perfect because I could add the amount of sweetness that I wanted without it being too overpowering. I would have preferred less ricotta on the pancakes and a little more lemon curd -- the ratio was about 1:1 cakes to ricotta topping, which was a bit much. The service was touch and go, but overall very friendly. While our order was taken quickly, our empty plates were never cleared until we left the restaurant, and we had to flag down a server for more water and to pay our bill. I'm not sure if they were short staffed, but I also noticed that the bathrooms needed some cleaning/tending to. read more

I purchased a bag of coffee beans, as I really enjoy their coffee, but I should've known something was off when the lady at the counter stated that the grind for drip coffee is finer than the one for espresso. Long story short, I received a grind that was not the correct one to use with my espresso machine, barely getting anything out of it. After multiple emails over the course of a few weeks trying to locate the transaction, they offered to stop by for an exchange, but at that point I had used a good portion of it and it was just not worth the trouble of going in and explain what happened. I would suggest buying the beans and grind it yourself. read more

Unusually for a coffee shop (and even for other Bluestone Lanes) this branch has table service, cloth napkins, etc.--the trappings of a restaurant. Correspondingly, the crowd is mainly there to socialise rather than to work (ie with laptops). A nice draw is that it gets lots of natural light, and one can fully benefit from that when at a spot at the window. I had a delicious cottage cheese type pancake. Bluestone Lane is in a good location for the upscale crowd. They did a great job with the inside decoration and presentation of the meal. The outdoor seating is nice and off the main drag, but the tables are small. For me, the food for the price wasn't worth it. I left this place still feeling a little hungry. Avoid the lemon Ricotta Pancakes. That dish was undercooked and the portion was small. I am glad I ordered the two scrambled eggs as a side. The Breakfast Bowl was fine, a simple dish with a healthy amount of avocado. The eggs and Breakfast Bowl needed a little more flavor, so say yes when they ask if you need salt, pepper, and/or hot sauce. We saw a smoothie and a couple of other specialty drinks go to another table. Really cool looking in terms of presentation, but they would have to be heavily recommended by others to be worth the asking cost. The service was good, and I enjoyed the waiter calling the tea Early Grey. But be careful, they grab your card without showing you the receipt. I didn't get a printout either. New to Spring Valley. Cute ambiance. Clean. Management needs time to work out the kinks in service. Servers are super young and nice but very inexperienced. Need more basic training on knowing who is responsible for which tables, basic attentiveness, speed of service (knowing when to take order, bringing water and menus to table quickly) and how to take payment through the app. They should be able to scan your app at the table for payment but I've been twice and that has never happened successfully for me. Btw- You should always make sure your app is functioning properly before going here. Always pay thru the app to get loyalty points so make sure you have a payment method uploaded as well! Food came out quick and was tasty. Price point is typical for the area- ($5 iced teas are a bit pricey- with no refills!). read more
