The selection of teas is exquisite, and the "mush" overnight oats are delicious! I rarely indulge in the pastries here, but they are sugary, tempting, and delicious as well. Thank you, Dav, for all the times you powered me through my studies with a perfect boost of caffeine. I will always be back.

This place is so dull, even a hangover won't drag me to get in. The fact it is in the middle of the American University campus, that in itself would have you believe that this place is the nucleus of gallant uprisings of intellectual revolution and meetings of professors and their beloved student, far from it! Its dull, over priced, bad service and certainly a hangout out of necessity because the nearest starbucks is far from a block away!

I got the tomato basil soup and the lamb hash and both were delicious. The tomato basil soup was rich and creamy; however, the roll could have been better. My lamb hash was perfectly cooked, well-seasoned, and paired perfectly with the potatoes. The labneh, herbs, and the tomato salad added delicious freshness to the hash, and the challah served as a great vessel for eating the hash. I tried my friend's spinach, Jerusalem artichoke, and egg plate, and it was also tasty, with properly done eggs and hearty bread. I would recommend Tatte for your next weekend brunch!

Such a lovely bookstore with friendly and caring staff! I'd been hearing about this place for a…read morewhile and finally had the chance to visit. The store spans two floors and even has a café. The book selection is thoughtfully curated, well organized, and unique. I also enjoyed browsing the fun little items, such as pins, bags, and decals, and ended up purchasing some cute cat-themed goodies! The main reason for my visit was to see one of my favorite authors and get a book signed. Since he's a popular author, I arrived over an hour early to get a seat. However, there were still a few seats available along the back and side rows about 20 minutes before the event started. The staff kept adding seats as people arrive too. The event itself was quite crowded, with people seated very close together, but everything was well organized from beginning to end. I appreciate the staff the staff keeping everything running smoothly. We also wanted to try The Den, the café downstairs, but it was closed that evening due to a private event. It looked cozy, so I'd love to check it out on my next visit. I was also lucky enough to find parking in the back lot, which was a nice bonus! Overall, a wonderful experience at a charming local bookstore. I'd love to come back soon, explore more of their selection.

Hardwood floor with a large carpet, a mix and match of sofas, different types of chairs, tables large and small, round and rectangular. There aren't many plugs if one wants to work on a device (but I nonetheless easily found one). It is a chill, very college'y environment (few grad students leave alone faculty sitting around). A very nice space for both socialising and working with the buzz of cafe vibe around you. The hot chocolate was so so (but then again, my standards are European for hot chocolate) and the spiced pumpkin muffin was quite nice.
