This is my first time eating a Jet's pizza and I was pleasantly surprised at the very good flavor of the sauce and dough. I enjoyed the thick crust with the crisp edges; it was very tasty. While visiting my wife's godmother in Elmwood Park, IL, i walked over to pick up carry-out pizza from this location of Jet's Pizza. We've used their ordering system using messaging to initially create the order, but it got confused and kept giving us 2 different pizzas. It's worth doing, since it gives a 15% discount if you used Text-to-Order...but not this time, so just ordered using their website. One slice of their detroit style pizza will satisfy a craving, and 2 slices will fill you up. So one 8 corner pizza with pepperoni ($20.98) and one order of baked chicken wings ($11.99) was enough for the 6 of us. We paid online, and were quoted a 20 minute pick up time. This is the first time I ate pizza from this location on Harlem but not the first time I had Jets Pizza. If you've never had Jet's Pizza you need to give it a chance. My sister first told me about their pizza and I thought how good could a chain pizza place be. Jets if you don't know is chewy Detroit style pizza or that's not thin crust of thick crust but somewhere in between. They offer a very good variety to a middle tier pizza. By that I mean they aren't Lou Malnati's or Pequods but are so much better than Dominos or Pizza Hut. Jets offers a middle range pizza w/a chewy Detroit style crust at a very affordable price. I like Jets pizza a lot actually but this location has done something twice to me which I think is illegal if not just poor business practice. Last night I placed a text order (to get 15% off). When I ordered and purchased with my credit card the price of pizza was $21. Then they sent a second text and 'adjusted the price and it was 30.00 which was 32 or something and then 15% off. If I would have known I wouldn't have ordered it-way too expensive. I called the store to report the mistake and they just confirmed that the price was 32 for the large vege Detroit style pizza because every vege is 8$! They didn't respond to the report that I was mis quoted and already charged a lower price. The base price of this pizza was 20.00! I think this is BBB worthy! read more

Boooooo! So today my family ordered pizza from Jett Pizza. I chose this location because Harlem was the closest to me. I live near midway airport. The only reason we ordered from them was because they were donating to Special Olympics if you order today & tomorrow. We support that charity. But other than that donation they gave, the pizza was pricey for what little and bland pizza we got. I paid &125 for flat tiny not good pizza. 4 orders of wings 2 small pizza and 1 medium and 1 8 corner. This was the most unattractive pizza. Never again. When traveling to the Chi town area this is one of my favorite pizza places. While I've only ordered from here 8-9 times, I have at least a dozen at each of the Jets in the area. The pizza is always a cut above. It's the consistency. I order the same double mushroom-double cheese and it just how I expect it and enjoy it. They also serve an excellent Detroit style pizza replica and their square pizza is to die for. Try the thin crust and the wings. My friends order that from time to time and ole' Steven E sneaks his share of their pie, thank you! I'm not a fan of the cinnamon sticks, everyone else in my party raves about them. That means you better tack-on an order. Keep in mind when you eat Detroit style deep dish...it's gonna be greasy. That's the situ. That's where the flavour is! I've read a few reviews that have a star or two shaved off for this. That's actually a mistake. Just a note on the service. These kids are fast and friendly. It's a machine. A well oiled machine. Like another Detroit legend, Henry Ford and his assembly line, these guys are efficient and accurate. I'm borrowing the plan from Peter S. and copying/pasting this across more than one location (Lombard, Arlington and the Wheeling site), as they are exact and equal in their craft. Jet's is one of my all time favorite places to get pizza from. I love how crispy and crunchy some of the crust can be. It's so yummy. I really like their Hawaiian pizza and their sausage. The sausage is always so juicy and taste really fresh. I like the Hawaiian pizza with a cold glass of milk. It is heaven. We always order at the restaurant and it takes only a few moments for them to deliver a fresh and ready pizza. The pizza is always so hot when we get the pizza. I love that! The only reason this review is not five stars is because pizza can be close to 25 bucks without a coupon. But, if you have a coupon it's closer to 18 bucks which is so great for the amount of pizza that you get for that price. We are customer's for life! read more

I came in to satisfy a craving that I was having for a lot of carbs & a lot of cheese. I decided to try some Jet's Bread, and after eating 2 sticks, I wish I would've went to Dominoes instead. Disappointed that they do not deliver to my house, which was .5 mile outside of their delivery zone, but their food is good, that's for sure! This was the second Jet's Pizza location we have been too and both were good and ready quickly, 20 mins to be exact. I called in twice and could not understand the woman either time when she first answered the phone. We ordered the Jet's breadsticks, BBQ chicken specialty pizza and medium garden salad. The first time I had Jet's Pizza I was skeptical of the crust on the pizza, but soon came to realize how delectable it actually is. The salad was a medium and it was too large for my boyfriend and I to even eat half of it. It was pretty pricey for a chain pizza joint, so that's disappointing. I've been ordering from Jet's pizza for a little over a year and usually they're pretty spot on with their pizza. At least the regular hand-tossed pizza is. They're always super fast at delivering and I've never had my pizza stuck to the lid of the box, like a certain P*zza Hut pizza. Well, last month, I decided to try something new and ordered their thin crust pizza and boy did I regret it. My pizza was SO SALTY that I could feel my cells shriveling up and crying out for water. Okay, so that's a wee bit of an exaggeration, but you get my flow. I know pizza isn't the healthiest food and everybody knows it's a high-sodium one at that, but this was so over the top. Don't they know that excess sodium leads to high blood pressure (which, btw, is a silent killer)?! I'm not asking for a low-sodium option here, although that would be awesome. I'm just asking to dial it back a table spoon! Also, I've never had a good experience with their wings. It's always super soggy, but not in the good sauce-marinated wings kind of way. It's just an oily, slippery, sloppy goo. Now I'm not sure if I want to continue ordering from them again. So, to sum it up, hand-tossed pizzas has been pretty good, like 4/5. Let me start by saying I like their pizza. But you have to really want it. They do one thing: make and deliver pizza. But it always feels like this is their first day in business. When you call, they always seem a little surprised that you want a pizza. On a Friday, they seem caught off guard that they are busy. I'd lay this one at the feet of the management not the staff. Clearly they can't retain their people and no one has wired there longer than 3 days. Management can't anticipate work levels. I placed an order thru Grubhub at 815 this place doesn't close till 9 the app said my order will be ready at 840 I walk in at 845 they don't have my order they say it was never received and they can't do anything even after I show them order confirmation with nothing else to say ... This is the second time trying jet pizza. It's delicious pizza however the second time I came the cashier didn't seem hundred percent coherent. Over charge me initially, didn't know the prices. That wasn't the issue, when he was making the pizza he had no hair net, no gloves. While he was making the pizza he was rubbing his nose. Needless to say I didn't eat the pizza. Back this weekend just to grab a few slices. I added some of the cheese bread to two slices and the total was $13! WTF? I really don't see this as "premium" stuff either. The best part is that they advertise "slices available all day" yet you still have to wait 10-15 minutes for your order - the same wait as if you ordered a pizza. So, you are basically advertising "we will sell our items while we are open." Super. The guy behind the counter (not the manager) is also clueless as he couldn't explain the difference between thin crust and New York style to another customer. They credited my card when I informed them of the missing item so we're pleased with their customer service. While eating their pizza, my 5 year old son thanked me for ordering Little Caesar's pizza (hah). Jet's deep dish pizza look almost identical to Little Caesar's deep dish and taste almost the same. The place is pretty new to the neighborhood still. We popped in to try it out yesterday. We ordered an extra large deep dish.. I will say that ordering off the web was confusing, and I didn't know what to expect when the pizza came out. Lol The pizza itself was very greasy- but pretty good. We had a ton left over as well. The staff was utterly confused- it looked like the three people there had no idea what was going on. They tried to charge us again after we already paid. There maybe some training issues there but it is what it is. Yes it is a little pricy for what it is- but you will get full. Very full. Look, all these other reviews are garbage. They are just whining. Yeah, it's not the cheapest, but nobody is forcing you to buy it then. I review the quality of the food, not complain about a 10 minute wait for a slice. Anyways... The pizza is good, way better than expected. The cheese and sauce is a bit bland, but the crust totally makes up for it. Also, as long as you don't have the palate of a 3 year old and just order cheese, the minor blandness can easily disappear. I love Jet's Pizza. This review is for this location only. I'm a Michigan native and live in Oak Park. I used to order their delivery and I was very happy with it and the driver was incredibly nice. A couple months ago their online ordering suddenly said I wasn't in the delivery area even though they had delivered to me several times. I called to find out why they weren't delivering to my house anymore and they said they'd make an exception. When I asked the familiar, friendly delivery guy (who I tip generously since he has to drive so "far") he said that the new management has decided that my address is too far away even though I'm in Oak Park. He agreed that was ridiculous. All the other pizza joints in their neighborhood (Elmwood Park and Galewood) will deliver to my house and Jet's will continue to miss out on my sale!
