We happened upon Rosati's just by chance when we needed something new, in the pizza genre. We found it to be a what's old is new experience for us. I had worked at two pizzerias in the late 70s and my first slice of Rosati's transported me back in time with the flavor. The crust was thin and crispy and the sauce has a rich straight-up tomato flavor. The cheese on the pizza has less fat, thus less greasy residue on top of the pie. Finally, although I'm not much of a meat-eater, OMG, the sausage had that fresh, not processed sausage flavor that I haven't had in ages. Typically, I pick the sausage off a pizza because it isn't appealing to me. Rosati's is appealing. Now Rosati's is our go-to for having pizza delivered. No more Lou's. Rosati's has a record of what we have previously ordered so it's seamless ordering each time. The delivery people are here in a flash. I needed pizza delivered through UberEats and my usual two fav pizza places in Oak Park don't deliver through that app. I haven't been in the restaurant, this is just a rating of the pizza for delivery. This definitely has a thinner crust than I'm used to and the sauce wasn't as rich and flavorful, but it was a pretty good pizza. The toppings were fresh and hearty. Nice amount of cheese. New to this rosattis pizza in oak oak I order a pizza $50 dollars. When we open up the pizza it was all shifted. To the side. I called the guy didn't wanna believe me questioning me and I told him they also gave us the wrong crust. I asked him he refused like why would I lie. He wanted to up charge me for their mistake. By this time it was 8pm had to wait another hour for the pizza. Driver gets here he verified the pizza and it's all shifted to the side. He's like oh yeah no this not good. Second pizza gets dropped off wrong ingredients, wrong crust mind you I paid 50$. The pizza is paper thin burnt on the sides the cheese was all dried up barely any sauce. At this point I told my kids to eat it because it was late and the guy on the phone refused the first time. My kinds and I got food poisoning from the pizza. This is by far the worst rosattis I've ordered from. I still have the pizza half eaten and a waste of $50 dollars. Horrible customer service. So buyers beware. read more

From the guy (Chris G) that answered the phone, to the delivery, this was a most unpleasant experience. Guy taking the order was incredibly rude, refusing to make recommendations or describe dishes, hanging up without saying goodbye, thank you, etc. Bill was $65 for a 12 inch pizza, Alfredo pasta, sprite. Alfredo was terrible, overcooked pasta, boring, bland sauce. Pizza was cold and average when heated. Clear instructions on the receipt, in red print, that the address was PLEASANT PLACE, not PLEASANT STREET in Oak Park, still had delivery driver sitting at Pleasant Street while I waited by our front door after she called to say she was "here". The quality of their pizza ingredients has gone downhill. They use to be my go to but no longer. The last two pizza orders were barely edible. Minimal sauce, little spices and the quality of the cheese doesn't do it any justice. It's tasteless. Something has changed recently. The pizza was good when they got it right but my experience here left a such a bad taste in my mouth that I'm not coming back here. First, I went in there to order and wait for a 12in thin crust pizza, in other places thats a 10-15min wait and here I'm told its a 30min wait (as if this was a dine-in establishment). I was literally the only customer in there, the phone rang once, and people where coming in and out the kitchen area (turns out they were delivery guys probably bored out of their minds). It was late so instead of waiting I paid the extra for delivery, which I'm told was a 45-60min delivery time, I figured at least I'm waiting in the comforts of my home and not there where every minute felt like 5. Pizza got delivered in less than 45min which was cool, but they delivered a sausage pizza, totally wrong pizza. When I called Rosati's the guy on the phone apologized and gave me two options: 1) That I wait and have them deliver the right pizza and give them the wrong one back. or 2) Keep the wrong pizza and get 1/2 credit from this order applied to my next order. When I asked why half a credit and not a full credit, the guy said "because we only got one ingredient wrong and your going to eat the rest, so thats fair." I've never heard of a partial credit like that in my life and it felt wrong picking sausages bits out of a whole pizza and actually paying for 1/2 of that, so I opted for option #1. When the right pizza finally got there I'm starving and first bite I burned my mouth the cheese was steaming hot, probably because they rushed it over, so for that reason I forgave the burn and the pizza was good. But when I opened the cherry coke I bought at Rosati's it opened too easy, there wasn't that break in the plastic seal and it was flat, no bubbles. So that cherry coke was literally the cherry on top of my frustration with Rosati's and I'm not ordering from there again because I deserve better, we all do. read more
