That was nice, I suppose, but there is no entrance in the back. We ended up parking just down the street and walking, unfortunately in the rain. Some of that is important for as long as the construction lasts. Our GPS issue has nothing to do with the restaurant. It's just a friendly FYI in case it's your first time. The place was cute, but kind of ordinary. I was surprised when trying to find the restroom there is another big room of tables behind the bar. Servers were attentive, but they mislead us just a bit. Our friend asked about the paella and was told it was, or maybe could be (?) a single serving. Well... no way. It was massive. I believe he enjoyed it, but didn't come close to finishing it. I'd say it's easily a two-person meal. We were also told pizzas were individual size. The pizza had eight slices and could easily serve two. Mark enjoyed it. He ordered the four cheese pizza, which included blue cheese. I took a bite and definitely tasted it and didn't care for it. I think the blue cheese might have been one reason Mark DID like it. I ordered an appetizer, PULPO A LA PLANCHA from the Hot Tapas menu. It was quite good. I also had the soup of the day, which was mushroom. It was delicious! I finished all my food and was perfectly satisfied and full.

A great variety of lunch specials are on offer; however, the portions are quite small, but you can order from the dinner menu if preferred. The pasta entrees were all delicious, the sauce was flavorful, the pasta al dente, the meatballs were ample and well-seasoned; however, the bread tasted a bit stale. This cozy spot is worth a try!

The espresso, the pistachio gelato (ice cream?) whatever it was, it was gone in seconds. I also really appreciated the size of the restaurant. The noise wasn't absurdly loud, the music was at the perfect level, and the lighting offered just enough at you needed. It left staff attentive without smothering. My only criticism was that the glass of wine we received had pieces of cork in it. They swapped out the main glass at our request but left carafe which also had it in there. Not the end of the world, we just didn't drink it. Also, the price was so reasonable! We had a glass of wine, mocktail, crab cakes, pasta, pizza, tiramisu and a cup of decaf for under $100. I was extremely impressed and already looking forward to our return!

The first time, it was clear that they were working hard to make a name for themselves. We talked to the owner and the chef and they were awesome. Similarly the food blew us away. So food, so friendly and just a great time. Not too long after we were walking down Maddison and stopped in for a dessert and drink. Now we learn that not only are the desserts amazing but they don't just have limoncello, they also have various other cellos! Pistachio and coffee are excellent, but check back for more! Tonight, we walked in and sat outside. The staff were amazing. Very attentive without hovering. Impeccable service! And their recommendations in the food, wine and desserts was spot on. We shared appetizers (calamari), mains and dessert, all of which were just as good as when they opened, maybe better. River Forest had a ton of great bar and grill places with good food. But Paicere Mio is on a different level. Don't just make it special occasions you come here. We came on a Sunday at 5:30 pm. Just get here and thank me later.

The restaurant is teeny, tiny. The are 2 booths, one on each side of the wine cooler. 2 adults cannot sit comfortably on one side ~ 1 adult and 1 child is the max. Also, at the booths, the table is very far away from the bench. You have to move forward to the front edge of the bench to eat over the table. They are a BIG miss ~ so I recommend avoiding them. However, the rest of the tables are on top of one another, so do not expect to have a private, quiet conversation, while not being bumped by a server or someone trying to leave their table. Saturday night was packed with people waiting, standing right over the tables closest to the door. I know nothing can be done to accommodate as many diners as possible. Do not expect the usual Italian meal. Do not go hungry because no one leaves with a doggie bag. A side of asparagus consisted of 4 small spears for $10. A lot of fish on the menu. New to me, balsamic drizzled on top of your vanilla gelato as dessert. The "special" guava cheesecake was special because it consisted of pastry shells with whipped cream not a forkful of cheesecake to be found. The food was just as high quality as it is when ordering individual meals, which is not always the case with catering. Everything was prepared perfectly, packaged well, and ready on time, making hosting completely stress free. Guests loved the food and several people asked where it was from. The service and communication were excellent, and it reinforced why we keep coming back. Tre Sorelle truly delivers whether it is dine in, takeout, or catering.

As rubbery as one can get and kind of tasted like the fryer oil needed to be changed. I packaged it up to go (I think I felt too embarrassed to leave a full plate), but threw it away before I got to the car. All in all, I think it could have been good. Maybe I came on the wrong day? I live in Buena Park, and I have driven down Irving Park Road, passing this restaurant one hundred times, but never gave it much thought. The space was originally a pizza restaurant called Hearth & Crust and owned by the same people. From what I understand, they closed their original Bueno Terra restaurant in Logan Square and reopened it in this Hearth & Crust space. In fact, the Hearth & Crust logo is still etched into the glass at the inner front of the restaurant. The restaurant was packed, especially with families, but they sat us in a semi-private, glass-enclosed room at the front of the restaurant. The sliding windows were open to the sidewalk and Irving Park Road. That kept the room pleasantly cool, but it was noisy. I could not hear anyone talk except the people sitting right next to me. We had one waiter assigned to our table--someone who knew the people in our group who frequent Bueno Terra--and he was personable and attentive. For the table, we ordered the arancini and fried calamari. Both were excellent. For my entrée, I ordered the Melanzana alla Emilia Romagna--eggplant medallions with a crunchy almond crust served with tomato basil sauce and topped with caramelized onions and goat cheese. Kind of a play on eggplant parmesan, but richer and better. My friends said that they often order it as an appetizer. It was unusual and delicious--I loved it. I do not drink alcohol, but I ordered a Berry Lemonade--strawberry, raspberry, and blueberry muddled with lemon soda. It was tart but refreshing. Platters were served with mixed of desserts--tiramisu, cheesecake and profiteroles. All excellent. The service and food were both great and we all had a wonderful time. Although it doesn't look like much driving past Irving Park Road, Bueno Terra is a gem that I highly recommend.
