Okay, Yelp asks us to give these places a break due to Covid. I will give three stars which, based on the food delivered today, is two and a half stars too many. So this is an inflated Covid review. I ordered a 10 inch deep dish sausage pizza and my daughter ordered spaghetti and meatballs. Both these dishes were disgusting. I have ordered Rosati's in the past and been very happy. What happened? The cheese on the pizza was just terrible. Bland, tasteless glop with very sweet tomatoes on it. They tasted cheap and canned. The spaghetti tasted terrible and it looks like they just ladled out the same awful sauce on the pasta. Burnt meatballs were a nice finish. Covid or no Covid, this is not acceptable. The meal showed a total lack of care and zero effort to produce even a decent product. My hope for this evening is that I don't throw up. Which seems likely. As a pizza lover, I am open to trying anyone's pizza at least once. Since I am no snob when it comes to pizza, it has to be really bad for me to hate it. I like it. It's on par with other authentic Italian pizza places and much better quality than fast food delivery pizza. The sauce is delicious. I like both the thin crust and double dough. Their lunch special gets you a pretty decent sized slice and a 20 oz. bottled beverage for about $5 including tax. I'm not a fan of their Italian beef. I tried it twice (the second time because I forgot I hated it the first time). It's too salty and lacks a good flavor, which is really disappointing. I won't get it a third time. Also, only get their breadsticks if you love garlic as there is an overwhelming amount of it. Nothing wrong with that if you like it, but nice to know if you don't. I like this place and hope it sticks around. Give them a shot if you love pizza. Their cinnamon sticks are delicious and I sometimes go there just because I crave them. Still trying out the menu. This should be more like 3.5 stars. I've eaten Rosati's for years at several of their western burb locations so I was pretty excited to see this pop up in OP as an alternative to some other great pizza joints. Thin crust and calzones were my usual orders. The thin crust is just like I remember and has been consistent the few times I've ordered. The only thing is that the crust is maybe too thin that it is always soggy. The fried ravioli is a different story-all cheese and the 1st bite had us spitting it out immediately. It was LOADED with salt that it was completely inedible. We're talking so salty that it hurts your tongue!! Did the salt container bust open and it all accidentally fell in? I do like their pizzas a lot. I've been ordering a lot more lately from Rosati's when it's a "pizza night". The only thing which really annoys me (not just here) is the "special instruction box" when ordering online. I ALWAYS write when ordering from Rosati's that I would like my pizza well done. I'm not asking to add more ingredients or to have my pizza sliced into heart shaped pieces. Just good old fashioned well done pizza. I think out of the ten times I have ordered from them and requested well done pizza, I only received this maybe 2-3 times. Any other times pizza is completely not what I requested. This even happened tonight. The cheese is not even melted all the way. Point is, what is the point of having this special instruction box when NO ONE at this location actually pays attention to it??!? I also ordered Diet Coke and got regular coke. Do people not care anymore and just throw in whatever is right next to them? I live two blocks away from here and will order from them one more time. Unfortunately, if my order comes not how requested, I will not spend money here when simple requests are not being done and no one pays attention. If this place doesn't honor special requests like a well done pizza, then please, don't have that option. Anywho, pizza is good but please tell your staff to pay attention to these things. read more

I ordered a pizza from Rosati's through gubhub. After waiting an hour and a half, I called Rosati's. They claimed they never got the order and called gubhub to cancel. Gubhub called and said Rosati's did get the order and refunded my money. It was too late order elsewhere. GrubHub and Rosati's are a losing combination. If you are hungry avoid them. read more

The high point of our order is that it came early. The other good thing was the wings, which were pretty meaty and the sauce was tasty. Otherwise this was a crappy meal. For some reason the pizza was extremely salty, and it wasn't just the toppings, it was the pizza itself. Almost to the point that it was inedible. We order a 2 liter, which they were out of, so they gave us some bottles, which didn't contain as much soda as the two liter would have. They were out of the other soda we ordered, so instead of calling us to see what we wanted instead they just picked something else, which we didn't want. We ordered two tiramisus at $5 apiece, which they forgot to bring. The fries they gave us were cold and flavorless. I regretted leaving a tip in advance, because of the poor job the driver did in ensuring our order was complete before leaving. I ordered a dry cheef sandwich and they gave me one so wet that it's as if they ran it under a sink to make it. Plus the sandwich was so small, it should have cost half the price. The bread they used was as if they are using the same cheap bread that subway uses. I also ordered 3 garlic breads (that's what the website says I should have gotten) but they only gave me one small little garlic bread that cost $3! It should have cost $.50. read more

Best thin pizza in the west side for sure!! Love there thin crust pizzas and wings are good as well. I only order my food here threw delivery and most times it has been great, get my food in a timely manner and warm. I also love that the delivery guy actually takes your food to your door some places stopped doing that and I dislike it. There was only one incident where for some reason my order wasn't processed and I called because they were taking long to deliver and then found out. It seems that some businesses forget how many people consult Yelp. But, even so, it shouldn't take negative reviews on Yelp to motivate a business to provide good customer service. My wife and I tried Rosati's for the first time by ordering 2 pizzas for delivery. To their credit, the delivery was prompt. Unfortunately, we discovered, one of the pizzas came with sausage rather than the spinach we ordered (we double checked online to make sure we weren't the one's who erred). My wife called to complain and ended up having to talk to 3 different people. The first person said that they could credit us $3, the cost of the spinach! The second person said we could "exchange" pizzas or be credited $6! When we finally got to the manager, he said we could get a new pizza (no matter it is now hours later); or, be credited $10 (not $20, because we would still be keeping the pizza that was wrong)! Are you kidding me? A responsible business would immediately offer to reimburse the customer; simple and as right as that. The first star is for promptness and the second star Is because the correctly delivered pizza was really good. But really, does it make fiscal sense to lose a new, prospective customer by, instead, nickel-and-dime-ing them? Maybe you don't care; maybe you are resting on your four star laurels. read more

They did not offer me a refund or credit. Avoid ordering for delivery here. I'd give 0 stars for service. Rosati's Oak Park is a disaster IMO. They're delivery is always late, sometimes very late. My most recent attempt resulted in me getting the wrong pizza altogether but it was on time for a change. I sent the pizza back and called the restaurant. Whoever answered the phone initially refused to let me speak to the manager. When I did finally speak to the manager she was not concerned in the least. I'm pretty sure she didn't even apologize. My credit card has not been credited and my email to Rosati's has been ignored. Shortly, after the manager, Brian, posted the extremely rude comment below giving me a link to the Mayo Clinic about how food from Rosati's could not have possibly been the food to make us sick, my boyfriend had talked to him on the phone. We were road tripping and hadn't eaten in 2 days. The food from his establishment was RAW. The dough was NOT cooked through. My boyfriend went to medical school...the pizza was what made us sick. The manager flew to Yelp to criticize my review before even speaking to myself or my boyfriend. He was arrogant and rude. Besides for the food making and sick and being undercooked, we would NEVER patronize this establishment again due to the manager's horrible attitude and customer service skills. I've never experience an attitude so juvenile and immature in a manager of an establishment. Absolutely uncalled for. I'd give zero stars for that alone if I could. * My boyfriend and I ordered a deep dish pizza last night along with some other things. Good food but poor customer service. Management asked if I could use my coupon on my next visit because they forgot to apply it at checkout. The coupon was for a free jar of sauce that was standing on shelf next to the checkout. Just honor the coupon and figure out how to account for your jar of sauce later. We've lived in Oak Park for over 2 years and have tried every pizza restaurant that would deliver to our address. I grew up on the Southside growing up eating old school real Chicago Italian pizza and couldn't find anything remotely close until I tried Rosatti's. Excellent customer service. Pizza was late when they were slammed on a Saturday night so they called to tell us and offered a free gelato (well we took the gelato from a list they offered). My boyfriend and I love this pizza! We have gotten takeout from here twice and they have very tasty pizza and mozzarella sticks. I immediately got in touch with the delivery driver and sent a picture and he was seriously so sweet and tried to be very helpful. I called the store and explained the situation to whomever answered and they said a manager would call me back shortly- so while I waited for the call, we started to eat the decent side of the pizza. A manager eventually got back to me and offered a store credit, but in order to do so they needed my order back. When I explained I started to eat it because I was hungry while waiting for a call back (she had a photo of the damaged pizza), she said since I ate half of it, she could then only offer me half of a store credit- so $10. Always drove past this place and never went in. Finally went for lunch one day and got a slice of cheese and was pleasantly surprised. They have a lunch special of a slice and 20oz drink for $4.40 or so and the slice is a decent size too, they don't give you some tiny slice you can finish with two bites.
