Huge fan of Geo's Pizza here! We all know that Chicago has the deep dish, but did you know we are known for tavern style pizza as well? Thin and crispy - what's not to like?! Geo's Pizza is in the old Little Italy area of Chicago, having been around since '72. Their menu focuses only on thin crust and deep pan pizza - that's it! You can order a 10", a 12", a 14", or a 16", or small, medium, large, or family, respectively. We came here for some late night eats, and we ordered a cheese & sausage slice and a 10" Geo's Deluxe, thin crust style. The individual slices were forgettable - I recommend in sticking with their freshly made-to-order pies. The Geo's Deluxe had super generous mounds of Italian sausage, mushrooms, green peppers, and onions, a tangy red sauce, and a never-ending cheese pull ever! It was hot hot hot, crispy, and baked to perfection! Service was kind, welcoming, and efficient - it's cash only, and they also offer deliveries and pickup options. There is a little waiting area for those who are waiting, but most seem to wait in their cars out in the front. Can't wait to try their other combos. What a gem - I hope this place lasts for many more years! +Geo's Deluxe! +tavern style pizza - thin and crispy! +hot and made-to-order +cash only +street parking available

This place was great! It's a to-go place that is easily missed if you aren't looking for it. We ordered a large thin crust sausage & mushroom pizza and the prices are so reasonable. You could really taste the fennel on the sausage, everything was very flavorful. One thing to take note of- this place is CASH ONLY!

Driven by this place hundreds of times - finally called and ordered a pizza to pick up. Here's the details... Order taken then conversation repeated by order taker to ensure it was correct - check Time until ready accurate quoted - check Pizza ready upon arrival - check Coupon on pdf on phone acceptable for use - check Friendly and polite staff at store - check 16" pizza was 16" as advertised - check Pizza put in old school paper pizza bag - check Pizza cooked just right - not under or over baked - check No evidence of oily or greasy spots - check Crispy crust w/ light cornmeal - check Somewhat but not too sweet sauce - check Tasty sausage (though I have had better) - check Yes, the slices are smaller cut than what most pizza places offer, but every one of them had a piece of sausage on it, so it's fine by me. Pretty good value overall too - after the $2 coupon was applied, it cost $16.25 and I received a 1 liter of pop with it as well. Overall, a really good experience and pizza at GEO's and definitely worth a return trip or two! It's not often that I'll add a place to get pizza from as I already have a few spots that are consistently good. But GEO's will be on that list!

1/2 garlic and 1/2 garlic & Italian sausage! So good!!

This pizza was amazing!! I ordered a large with 1/2 garlic and 1/2 garlic & Italian sausage. It was at a great price and definitely fed 2-3 people. Highly recommend as it was covered in sauce (which I prefer) and I was amazed with how fresh it tasted. For sure coming back!!

While I am not a native, I have been a frequent visitor over 20 years and always brag on Lou's as the best of the big boys and as good as several of the lesser known neighborhood spots. Sadly, my last two in person visits have more closely resembled the frozen product they ship from their website. The most recent visit last week included 11 other family members who were "first timers" that had trusted my recommendation for the good stuff only to be disappointed by both the temperature and small amount of both cheese/sauce. We shared several large, medium and personal pies across the menu and I honestly can't say a single one measured up to the standard they have set for decades. The always delicious butter crust saved this from being a one star review, but my next visit to Chitown may not include another visit to any of the way too many locations.

It's still pretty basic with simple meat sauce and cheese, but I actually appreciated the simplicity--it was different without trying too hard. The highlight was definitely the BREAD for a starter! Super thin, perfectly seasoned, and so delicious. It also held up really well as leftovers later that evening. A fun little spot for a casual date night!

This is one of those places that feels frozen in time -- in a good way. The wood‑paneled coziness,…read morethe dim lighting, the slightly chaotic entryway where a host with a clipboard controls the fate of your evening... it all sets the tone for a meal that's equal parts ritual and indulgence. They push the Mediterranean Bread, and honestly, you should let them. It's enormous, blistered, fragrant, and arrives like a hot air balloon made of carbs. More importantly, it gives you something genuinely delicious to tear into while you wait for the pizza pot pies to emerge from whatever subterranean chamber they're baked in. It's both a starter and a survival tool. A reservation is non‑negotiable unless you enjoy contemplating your own mortality in a weekend crowd. The wait times can stretch so long you could starve to death before your name is called -- and the regulars will nod knowingly as they step around your skeleton. Plan ahead. The salads are comically oversized, the kind of portions that make you wonder if they're meant for a family of four or a single very determined marathon runner. But let's be honest: no one is here for lettuce. We're all here for the pizza pot pie, that molten, bread‑wrapped, cheese‑laden dome of joy that defies every attempt at categorization. It's not deep dish, it's not thin crust -- it's its own thing entirely, and that's the point. This is the place you bring out‑of‑town guests when you want to show them something uniquely Chicago without defaulting to the usual deep‑dish suspects. But it's also the place you come back to on your own, because once you've had that pizza pot pie, it lives rent‑free in your brain until you return.

When I walked by, it was very crowded, loud, and busy with a line going down the street. I decided to place my order online instead, but here's something you definitely need to know: ordering online does NOT mean your deep-dish pizza will be ready quickly.Mine took about an hour and 15 minutes which I was told is pretty normal because deep-dish takes a while to make. I had my little stool with me, so I sat outside, took some pictures, and did some people-watching while I waited. There is some street parking, but there's a large building across the street that looks like apartments or possibly a hotel, so parking wasn't the easiest. They have a little To Go area where you can grab drinks and other items. I also bought a couple of their frozen deep-dish pizzas to take home and I'm glad I did! I baked one at 350° for about 40 minutes and it came out gooey, gooey, CHEEZY Iwould've liked a little more meat on it, but it was still good. They ship also. I also ordered a small/personal deep-dish pizza while I was there. By the time I ate it, it wasn't as warm as I would've liked, and I'm one of those people who does NOT like cold pizzaI know some people love it, but that's not me! So if you're like me, I recommend eating yours as soon as you pick it up from the counter while it's still hot. I ordered a soda. Total about $75 If you plan to dine in, give yourself plenty of timeThis place is very popular and the line can get LONG. Overall, the pizza wasn't bad, and I would definitely go back and try something different next time. The frozen pizza I brought home and baked fresh was actually one of my favorite parts!

The mozzarella sticks were very silky on the inside crunchy on the outside and came with a nice flavorful pomodoro dip. The meatballs had an Italian sausage/fennel flavor and were very tender, and the zucchini chips were the star of the apps!! Nice and crisp, they were cut into little super thin chips not like a traditional fried zucchini and the dipping sauce on that was also delicious and super fresh tasting Finally, we tried the spicy vodka tavern style pizza and added pepperoni to half.
