We were pleasantly surprised by Durango's in Racine! This is the oddest little house that operates as a pizza joint as well as a chocolate shop. When you walk in, it is very bare and you can see the glass display cases holding the chocolate confections, it smells sweet. We thought we were in the wrong place initially to pick up our pizzas, but they quickly reassured us we were in the right spot. The location has been there for many years, with the family going back many years and obviously loved by the people of Racine. The location is also very convenient right off the main road. The pizza was good! We really enjoyed it and will definitely be back and try new things. read more

I won't purchase anything from Durango Pizza. I placed an order at 1:20pm for 5PM delivery. At 2:22pm I called the restaurant to reconfirm they received my order and If I stated extra thin and crispy. Female was tough on phone and said you might place 5pm delivery but it will be done in an hour and 20 minutes. At 6pm it was delivered and we get his stale cold party size hard pizza. Plus also ordered individual slices. Those also were like thin cold bricks. Dry crust with sauce and cheese that looked and felt like plastic. My kids were hungry and disappointed. We couldn't eat it. Also an order of guacamole with. chips was omitted. I have ordered from other pizza restaurants and never had an experience as negative as this one. Never again food for us from Durango Pizza. I give it a 1 star only because I had to select. read more

Worst customer service!!! They did not give the driver my full order.. they tried really hard to blame the driver. When I called they said that they tried catching the driver.. so they knew I was only going to receive half of my order but, they did not call me at least to tell me. When, I questioned why. They said they were busy and that my order was one of many errors on that day! That they were busy because Super bowl apparently snuck up on them! To blame the driver, and to treat your paying customers as if they are bothering you for questioning why the order was not complete is disgusting! it is the restaurants responsibility to be staffed on a busy day! A customer should not hear excuses. Be properly staff or stop taking orders in order to provide proper customer service. read more

Pretty solid place. The sausage pizza was fine, I would say above average. Crust was ACTUALLY thin and crispy, unlike a lot of North and Northwest side "thin crust", which I find too bready. The Diablo was pretty spicy and had a good flavor. I expected, with the chorizo, for it to be greasy, but it wasnt at all. Overall I'd say the sausage was 7/10 and the Diablo was 8/10. They each came with two toppings, but when I ordered one of the pizzas half Hawaiian and half sausage, they charged us an additional $5 for a third topping, even though it was half and half. Not cool, but that was my only complaint. The pizza was good and the delivery came fast. We also ordered wings, bbq and buffalo. Didn't really care for the bbq wings, but everyone loves the buffalo.i was surprised by how huge these wings were. Will definitely be ordering from them again. I called to order pick up because I received a flyer in the mail for a supreme Xsuper and a Taco Xsuper pizza which their menu has prices listed below. I asked for my total and the man over the phone said my total was $80 and some change I asked why it was so high and he proceeded to yell over the phone that taxes weren't in the price I understood that but menu total would be $64.70 and I was doing pick up taxes are not $15. I do an order, they mess it up. I wanted a veggie pizza. They send it with pepperoni. I'm upset. I'm at work. Cant take a longer break and wait. So I call to complain. They want to send me another. I tell them my break isnt 2 hrs long, so they can send me another when i order my next meal. Well... I call today, and make my order, they tell me I only have a $4 credit. I was like what?!?! Why!?!? I must confess that I did not expect much from this small out of the way place. Boy was I very pleasantly surprised. I must also confess that ordering pizza from a Mexican restaurant could be quite sacrilegious in some circles. I can live with that. I ordered the Al pastor pizza first and it pretty much looked like any other pizza but then I took a bite. The crust was very well done and crunchy. I don't consider myself a "crust" person and usually the pooch gets it. Not this time. I have ordered a few different types of their pizzas and have yet to be disappointed. Most of the other food we have ordered is pretty damn good too. This is now my new favorite "go-to" for last minute or if i'm lazy to make dinner or for any occasion really. Nice job guys read more
