Each week there are different options either for pick up or delivery and if the cookies are listed, definitely get them! We've had Buffalo chicken, tilapia and a variety of other items. All have been delicious. The meals have come with salads often and veggie. Everything has super easy and quick reheating directions which has been critical as I seem time always gets away from me when making dinner. The menus are open a week ahead of time, with orders due Thursdays for the next week (Tuesday or Wednesday - pick your day). I enjoy seeing the next week's menu each week and deciding what to order... and I'll say it again, don't skip the cookies.

I'm not normally a fan of seafood, but I have honestly eaten every bite that they've served me. I haven't had shrimp that fresh since I lived in Asia. And the vegetables are crisp and fresh, too. Secondly, the price is AMAZING for what you get, especially with inflation these days. If I were to order a very basic fast food meal from a delivery service, I'd expect to pay a minimum of $23 for each meal including the fees. The flat rate of $78 for six meals is INCREDIBLE for what you get. Thirdly, it's convenient. I don't need to (1) shop for groceries, (2) prepare the food and (3) clean up afterwards. Everything is taken care of. The microwave is the most complicated thing I'll have to deal with. And lastly, the portion sizes are perfect. It's just enough to fill me up without any leftovers. I'm eating EVERYTHING in the dish and nothing is going to waste. As someone who's recovering from serious illness and surgeries, this company has been a godsend. The signature tamale varieties available for ordering included cheese, pork, and chicken, along with the famous salsa verde. I opted for chicken and was pleased with my choice. The order came with reheating and freezing instructions. The masa is light and the chicken is fresh and high-quality. The perfect comfort food to add spice and warmth to a Chiago winter! My dad recently needs to be on a lower sodium diet so it's nice to provide 1-2 meals per week for him with no commitment- he usually eats only half of the portion per meal and can easily know the sodium content. My wife and I have tried a few of the meals and been happy with everything - sometimes calories and fat/sodium can be a bit higher than my wife prefers for a single meal but you have all the info before ordering. There's always a salmon option, and a recent "Retro Fried Chicken Bowl" was great if slightly unhealthier than ideal but had a nice portion of well cooked chicken and included a fantastic smothered sauce plus the side of applesauce was chunky, flavorful, and just as good as we would make at home. If you don't make your own applesauce this will show you why you should do it. Nothing but positive so far, and prices generally seem consistent with the "ready to cook" options in the market but you have much less packaging waste and don't need to spend a bunch of time cooking and cleaning up which can be nice during the week. Most dishes are 2-3 minutes heating up in the microwave and end up great. Don't get me wrong, we love to cook but I prefer to use my own recipes and for my dad with limited mobility a quick, healthier microwave meal or a "soft food" option is important. And for my wife and me, this is a nice supplement to our weeknight meals. Bravo to a great local business worth supporting!

Chef Beau said that the policy was explained to me in a "myriad if ways". This is simply not true. He is now refusing to return my $150 deposit even though he has his glass containers back. This is theft of my money as he has his property. It's simple - you charge a deposit for an item, the item gets to return you give back the deposit. Do not use the service!
