    squash salad

Haven't tried this place in years, so I thought I would try with their 2 for $22 signature pizza deal. Restaurant said 15 min, I was like I guess....it was ready like they said, hot and fresh easy pick up, got a VIP spot in front. Very easy to place order with the guy, he knew the details of the menu too. Both pizzas were amazing. 3 pigs and wise guy. Crust great crispy on outside edges barely blackened. Very good pizzas. Was full of pizza, so only sampled the salad, but butternut squash one was very good too. roasted squash with cheese was really good. Got there on the early side and a few tables had a few kids each, around 5-10? relaxed atmosphere, and seemed good for kids and families.

So this place is nestled between other cute shops and restaurants in Oak Park on Harrison. So there is pizza place in the trendy area of Randolph and Halsted that their pizza reminded me of. This place is just as good without the downtown prices. This place can stand on its own and you won't be disappointed. Sam was our server ..she was AWESOME. The pizza is about 11inches and they were fresh with excellent ingredients. My gurl had the the funguy pizza and the chicken with goat cheese.....i had the 3 lil pigs.......all three were great!. Check out the pics. They have outside dining. Quiet block so very nice. They honored the Covid rules as well

Wow. So I'd been here before ages ago with my family. This time around I went on a date night with my fiancé. We sat at the bar with Dave and he took great care of us!! We started off with a great extra dirty martini. Dave had just stuffed the blue cheese stuffed olives himself! Next up was the focaccia - unfortunately I had given up bread for lent so I couldn't partake but I was very envious of my fiancé indulging them with a smile on his face. next we had the mussels. Oh. My. Goodness. I literally was drinking the broth with the spoon towards the end of the bowl. Delicious!! We both had a house salad with their homemade salad dressing that was great. For our entrees I had the short rib bolognese pappardelle - the meat melted in my mouth and the pasta was so fresh!! My fiancé got the chicken parmigiana and he definitely enjoyed it! We ended the night with a glass of housemade limencello for me and a glass of grand marnier for the dude. That limencello was perfect!! With the great food and the amazing service of Dave, this will be our new date night spot! Also, just so you know, the change out their menus weekly so there's always something new to try!

I live blocks away and have passed this place many times, walking and driving. On my way home on a Thursday from an appointment in the area and not feeling like cooking I decided to stop here and pick up dinner for me and my family. The 2 for $20 fire wood burn pizzas sign out front is what made me stop. That's a great deal! One pizza can run you $17-$18. I go in and I'm greeted by this very kind man who turned out to be the owner of the restaurant who also assisted me in deciding which pizzas to order. Not everyday you actually have the owner who is really kind and cool helping you decide on what to eat and taking your food order. I decided on the Margherita pizza, Goat pizza (replaced fennel sausage with chicken) and the chicken Alfredo. Everything was delicious! I really enjoyed the chicken Alfredo. It was so full of flavor with the garlic cooked in it being so tasty and appetizing. The portion was good. Two people were able to eat off it and it came with a nice side salad. Each pizzas were able to be enjoyed by 2-3 people. I ordered carry out to go and the wait time was less than 20 minutes. My total for the two pizzas and the chicken Alfredo came to $40.00 so not bad to feed a family of three with leftover for the next day. I will be back to eat outside on a nice warm sunny day and enjoy some great Italian food with a nice glass of wine next time

Fairly good Italian food, but nothing super special. Staff was very attentive and courteous, and it's a good place to take kiddos.

The bread service was fantastic. The tomato focaccia and the baguette were both excellent and I had to remind myself not to fill up on it before the main meal! LOL! We started with the calamari which was very well seasoned and clearly not the typical frozen version you often see from foodservice distributors. It tasted fresh, was crispy, and well prepared. For dinner I ordered the margherita pizza which was simple and delicious. I ended up ordering a second one to-go for my partner who couldn't make it to dinner. He also loved it - even after it sat for ~30 min or so while we chatted more, then drove home to the Maywood area. I would imagine their delivery is pretty good based on that! My mom had the rigatoni vodka with added crumbled Italian sausage which she loved, and my dad ordered the Marcelino. He loved the generous amount of seafood and how well seasoned it was. My parents are big wine drinkers and my dad was especially impressed with the wine list and the selection available. Oscar was an incredible server!! He struck the perfect balance of being attentive while still letting us enjoy a relaxed, unhurried evening. The support staff and food runners were also fantastic and very friendly, making the entire service experience feel polished! I also loved the kitchen was more open which gives you confidence in the quality and care that goes into the food. The dining space is inviting with a nice bar area and an additional room that looks perfect for busy nights or private gatherings. Overall a great restaurant that we would absolutely return to!!

The restaurant is teeny, tiny. The are 2 booths, one on each side of the wine cooler. 2 adults cannot sit comfortably on one side ~ 1 adult and 1 child is the max. Also, at the booths, the table is very far away from the bench. You have to move forward to the front edge of the bench to eat over the table. They are a BIG miss ~ so I recommend avoiding them. However, the rest of the tables are on top of one another, so do not expect to have a private, quiet conversation, while not being bumped by a server or someone trying to leave their table. Saturday night was packed with people waiting, standing right over the tables closest to the door. I know nothing can be done to accommodate as many diners as possible. Do not expect the usual Italian meal. Do not go hungry because no one leaves with a doggie bag. A side of asparagus consisted of 4 small spears for $10. A lot of fish on the menu. New to me, balsamic drizzled on top of your vanilla gelato as dessert. The "special" guava cheesecake was special because it consisted of pastry shells with whipped cream not a forkful of cheesecake to be found. Food was good, service was excellent, most interesting interpretation of Italian fusion.

Walked in to an empty restaurant and asked to sit at the bar. Front of house staff was confused but obliged. Bartender is very overwhelmed making drinks for a table on the patio. I'm in absolutely no hurry, so I wait. Eventually another bartender came over, asked for my order and I asked to see a drink menu. He comes back, I ask him about happy hour specials and he wanders away saying "appetizers...." I pulled up the website and saw that the happy hour is actually really good!!! Half off apps and $8 wine. I order Pinot Grigio, baked goat cheese, and calamari. Here's how it went: -Wine was 100% a Chardonnay. I tried to drink it but I really, really couldn't. -Baked goat cheese. Sauce and cheese had flavor, pesto on the bread did not. Not a huge problem but I did notice. -Fried calamari. SIGH. As rubbery as one can get and kind of tasted like the fryer oil needed to be changed. I packaged it up to go (I think I felt too embarrassed to leave a full plate), but threw it away before I got to the car. All in all, I think it could have been good. Maybe I came on the wrong day? Staffing was weird? A little 'off' from what I would expect from a place with white tablecloths in the dining room.

One of the…read morecouples in our group and frequent patrons and recommended this restaurant as our place to meet. I live in Buena Park, and I have driven down Irving Park Road, passing this restaurant one hundred times, but never gave it much thought. The space was originally a pizza restaurant called Hearth & Crust and owned by the same people. From what I understand, they closed their original Bueno Terra restaurant in Logan Square and reopened it in this Hearth & Crust space. In fact, the Hearth & Crust logo is still etched into the glass at the inner front of the restaurant. The restaurant was packed, especially with families, but they sat us in a semi-private, glass-enclosed room at the front of the restaurant. The sliding windows were open to the sidewalk and Irving Park Road. That kept the room pleasantly cool, but it was noisy. I could not hear anyone talk except the people sitting right next to me. We had one waiter assigned to our table--someone who knew the people in our group who frequent Bueno Terra--and he was personable and attentive. For the table, we ordered the arancini and fried calamari. Both were excellent. For my entrée, I ordered the Melanzana alla Emilia Romagna--eggplant medallions with a crunchy almond crust served with tomato basil sauce and topped with caramelized onions and goat cheese. Kind of a play on eggplant parmesan, but richer and better. My friends said that they often order it as an appetizer. It was unusual and delicious--I loved it. I do not drink alcohol, but I ordered a Berry Lemonade--strawberry, raspberry, and blueberry muddled with lemon soda. It was tart but refreshing. Platters were served with mixed of desserts--tiramisu, cheesecake and profiteroles. All excellent. The service and food were both great and we all had a wonderful time. Although it doesn't look like much driving past Irving Park Road, Bueno Terra is a gem that I highly recommend.

The food is excellent, across the board. They've also kept Hearth & Crust's pizza, which is a good thing.
