Haven't tried this place in years, so I thought I would try with their 2 for $22 signature pizza deal. Restaurant said 15 min, I was like I guess....it was ready like they said, hot and fresh easy pick up, got a VIP spot in front. Very easy to place order with the guy, he knew the details of the menu too. Both pizzas were amazing. 3 pigs and wise guy. Crust great crispy on outside edges barely blackened. Very good pizzas. Was full of pizza, so only sampled the salad, but butternut squash one was very good too. roasted squash with cheese was really good. Got there on the early side and a few tables had a few kids each, around 5-10? relaxed atmosphere, and seemed good for kids and families.

So this place is nestled between other cute shops and restaurants in Oak Park on Harrison. So there is pizza place in the trendy area of Randolph and Halsted that their pizza reminded me of. This place is just as good without the downtown prices. This place can stand on its own and you won't be disappointed. Sam was our server ..she was AWESOME. The pizza is about 11inches and they were fresh with excellent ingredients. My gurl had the the funguy pizza and the chicken with goat cheese.....i had the 3 lil pigs.......all three were great!. Check out the pics. They have outside dining. Quiet block so very nice. They honored the Covid rules as well

Wow. So I'd been here before ages ago with my family. This time around I went on a date night with my fiancé. We sat at the bar with Dave and he took great care of us!! We started off with a great extra dirty martini. Dave had just stuffed the blue cheese stuffed olives himself! Next up was the focaccia - unfortunately I had given up bread for lent so I couldn't partake but I was very envious of my fiancé indulging them with a smile on his face. next we had the mussels. Oh. My. Goodness. I literally was drinking the broth with the spoon towards the end of the bowl. Delicious!! We both had a house salad with their homemade salad dressing that was great. For our entrees I had the short rib bolognese pappardelle - the meat melted in my mouth and the pasta was so fresh!! My fiancé got the chicken parmigiana and he definitely enjoyed it! We ended the night with a glass of housemade limencello for me and a glass of grand marnier for the dude. That limencello was perfect!! With the great food and the amazing service of Dave, this will be our new date night spot! Also, just so you know, the change out their menus weekly so there's always something new to try!

I live blocks away and have passed this place many times, walking and driving. On my way home on a Thursday from an appointment in the area and not feeling like cooking I decided to stop here and pick up dinner for me and my family. The 2 for $20 fire wood burn pizzas sign out front is what made me stop. That's a great deal! One pizza can run you $17-$18. I go in and I'm greeted by this very kind man who turned out to be the owner of the restaurant who also assisted me in deciding which pizzas to order. Not everyday you actually have the owner who is really kind and cool helping you decide on what to eat and taking your food order. I decided on the Margherita pizza, Goat pizza (replaced fennel sausage with chicken) and the chicken Alfredo. Everything was delicious! I really enjoyed the chicken Alfredo. It was so full of flavor with the garlic cooked in it being so tasty and appetizing. The portion was good. Two people were able to eat off it and it came with a nice side salad. Each pizzas were able to be enjoyed by 2-3 people. I ordered carry out to go and the wait time was less than 20 minutes. My total for the two pizzas and the chicken Alfredo came to $40.00 so not bad to feed a family of three with leftover for the next day. I will be back to eat outside on a nice warm sunny day and enjoy some great Italian food with a nice glass of wine next time

Fairly good Italian food, but nothing super special. Staff was very attentive and courteous, and it's a good place to take kiddos.

The bread service was fantastic. The tomato focaccia and the baguette were both excellent and I had to remind myself not to fill up on it before the main meal! LOL! We started with the calamari which was very well seasoned and clearly not the typical frozen version you often see from foodservice distributors. It tasted fresh, was crispy, and well prepared. For dinner I ordered the margherita pizza which was simple and delicious. I ended up ordering a second one to-go for my partner who couldn't make it to dinner. He also loved it - even after it sat for ~30 min or so while we chatted more, then drove home to the Maywood area. I would imagine their delivery is pretty good based on that! My mom had the rigatoni vodka with added crumbled Italian sausage which she loved, and my dad ordered the Marcelino. He loved the generous amount of seafood and how well seasoned it was. My parents are big wine drinkers and my dad was especially impressed with the wine list and the selection available. Oscar was an incredible server!! He struck the perfect balance of being attentive while still letting us enjoy a relaxed, unhurried evening. The support staff and food runners were also fantastic and very friendly, making the entire service experience feel polished! I also loved the kitchen was more open which gives you confidence in the quality and care that goes into the food. The dining space is inviting with a nice bar area and an additional room that looks perfect for busy nights or private gatherings. Overall a great restaurant that we would absolutely return to!!

The table bread didn't come out until we ordered and we waited quite a minute to order because our waiter would take a while to come back each time. The restaurant was not crowded at all so it was hard to understand what was taking so long. The first batch of bread was hard and my child's pasta pieces were also somewhat hard. It was just a bit of a mess at first. Then all of our food finally came, plates were smelling good and that helped lift our moods. My husband said that his pasta was just really spicy and the flavor itself wasn't really there. My pasta (vongole) was actually pretty good. We had to ask for Parmesan which helped with flavor for sure but I tried to have no complaints once our dishes came out. It was a nice place to try. If I was to visit again, I would be going to try their paella.

They do have a semi-private back area for smaller celebrations. I'd say attire is a bit dressier than your casual wear given the vibes. Complimentary bread and oil with Parmesan cheese to start. The bread was warm and moist, not hard like most Italian bread I've had. APPS: I would definitely recommend the calamari and meatballs for appetizers. Calamari was perfectly breaded and tender, not chewy like most, and came with 3 dipping sauces. The meatballs were moist and covered in cheese and meat sauce. Entrees: the rigatoni bolognese was the fan favorite of the table! Also had the beet salad and pork tenderloin and all of them were 10/10. Dessert: Tiramisu, salted caramel gelato, and fried donuts. All of the them were great, especially the fried donuts that come complimentary for buying a dessert. I was somewhat surprised by how good they were with the gelato. Service was quick and great, no complaints. Looking forward to coming back in the summer and sitting on the patio. Think this will be my new favorite Italian spot in Oak Park!

Thankfully, Donny G's met and exceeded my expectation. It's a classic old world Italian restaurant that serves up delicious favorites First, it has a not ambiance. The interior was simple and not pretentious in the best way. They simmmed the lights to prove that perfect atmosphere. On the night I went and they have live music. Second, the food is great. My wife and I tried the grilled octopus and sausage and peppers as appetizers. We loved the texture and of the grilled octopus, it was not rubbery at all. The sausages were flavorful and juicy. For main dishes we ordered spaghetti and meat balls and fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. Both pasta dishes were great. The meatball was flavorful and the Alfredo sauce was classic. For dessert we spit tiramisu and I ordered a do double espresso. The tiramisu was young with a hint of cinnamon. The only downside was that espresso was burnt. Third the service was great. The waiter was nice and our food came out fast. In sum this great Italian restaurant that's worth trip the burbs.
