This review is for a delivery order we had when visiting Ann Arbor recently. Since we had a mixed age group from 8 to almost 80 we decided a delivery dinner of pizza was the best option to enjoy at our host's home. None of the Jet's that I have noticed have a real dining area and many not much parking for pickup. Delivery is truly the best option. I had never had Jet's before though my home area had on open in the las year or two, so having a meal from a tried and true location seemed a good option for a first venture into Detroit Style Pizza, just a short distance away from Detroitl Our host ordered a selection of pizzas with toppings that could accommodate all the diners. We ended u with 2 "4 corner" and one "8 corner" a whole new pizza lingo for me, tired and trues NY Style thin crust round from childhood. We had one pizza with meat topping, one with mostly all veggies and one with just 2 veggies. The deep crisp crust reminded me of the best of the chains from decades ago but was definitely more personalized and higher quality than the past one. I liked the mushrooms and yellow sport peppers with just enough spice. I did not try and of the meats but my husband thought the Italian sausage quite good. I don't remember if he had pepperoni too which I know is their most popular topping, but something I can't have any more. The pizzas took a while to arrive given that it was a bit far from where we were staying but it arrived hot and fresh. I will be trying our local Jet's soon to compare the experience across the brand. Delivery is not the cheapest way to get it unless you consider the time and traffic that can be someone else's obstacle and not ruin your experience with the food. read more

Traveling thru MI and went out of my way to seek Jets in Ann Arbor. Ordered 2 slice combo (Menu states "avail all day"). They took the order then informed that GM doesn't allow these orders after 3pm. Felt like I was a pain as a customer. I'll choose another place to eat in the future. read more

Upon texting the order, you will receive a link to review your order. If all is correct, you order then pay. I did receive the text, but did not review the order. I was at RAPPOURT w/ colleagues and wasn't paying attention. My fault. Still, it was heavenly. The sauce was sweet w/ a mild acidic to it. It was delicious. The crust had crispy corners yet it was chewy (not doughy). The cheese is not of Wisconsin brick but it was velvety and creamy. The boneless wings since it wasn't sauced reminded me of popcorn chicken. I loved how generous they were w/ their marinara sauce and ranch. I drove in the 20s, rain, and ice.. risking my life to try this place. This was my last meal before flying out. I was in pure bliss after each bite. It felt that all of the things that stressed me at work melted away because of this delicious, comforting, and wonderful meal. Shoutout to my colleague for recommending Jet's. I return to Ann Arbor in 2 months. Seems like I will be a frequent visitor here.. I will surely make this my first meal and last meal next time. read more

Thursdays have weirdly become my busiest day of the week which means I'm usually either too wiped to cook or working to late to eat ate a normal hour. This means, Thursday has officially become "pizza night" in our house. Each week we order from a different pizza joint for delivery or pick up. Despite the crazy work day, it's become my favorite day of the week! Ha! This week, after seeing a fellow Elite post a photo of a squeeze bottle of Jet's ranch dressing in their Yelp review, I said to my husband, "tonight Jet's is happening." I had no idea that ranch bottle was a thing! But now that I do? There's no going back. We ordered a large pep and mushroom round (usually we go for the square Detroit style but today I was in around kinda mood), a Jet's bread, and a squeeze bottle of ranch. Hot damn! It was all perfect. Delivery took about an hour and it arrived hot and fresh. Our delivery guy did a great job with "no contact", leaving the order by our door but waiting an appropriate distance to make sure my husband grabbed it. High marks for that! We haven't repeated any of our pizza orders yet. Variety is the spice of life, after all! Ha, But I may need to revisit Jet's sooner rather than later. It was that good! read more

You cannot expect your delivery order from the Plymouth Rd store to be correct or complete. My experience has been 80/20... 80% of the time the order is not correct. Open every bag and box to be sure you have everything that you ordered. read more

Order 2 calzon boats,extra cheese and meat. I got two over cooked boats with yellowish brown lettuce and no meat or cheese. Tons of tomatoes , bland and doughy. I called back to complain and they were nice and replaced my order with fresh everything. But the taste was so bland,the boat was dripping with butter sauce. It just was not a good sandwich. Ordered online. Someone from a call center in CA called us 35 min after we ordered and told us the restaurant had technical issues and our order was cancelled. No answer at the store. If this was an isolated incident I would have not wrote a review, but the time before I ordered pre pandemic, The driver forgot my pop, and never returned with it after he said he would. I called and the manager said they were at closing time and they wouldn't send my soda back out. They never refunded my pop even though I called for a manager the next day and also sent a complaint to their website. The manager that called me back sounded uninterested and offered no compensation other than credit for a pop. The owners of this location really need to make some changes or sell to someone who cares. read more

Have had consistently terrible experiences at this Jet's location, DO NOT ORDER from this location. This time, we placed our order and were given an estimated wait time of 55 mins. An hour and a half has come and gone, and we have called the store multiple and no one has picked up or returned our messages. I ordered a pizza and salad for delivery. After an hour and half the driver called me and told me he wrote down the wrong address and it would be another 30 minutes. I called and spoke to the store owner Chad. Chad was fantastic and refunded my order. I told him I would drive to store if he would remake my order which he gladly did for free. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and small salad. Web said it would take an hr. After almost 2 hours the delivery guy came with just the small salad. I asked about the pizza and he said there was no pizza in the order and there's nothing he could do anyways even if I showed him the receipt. Can I give zero stars??? Honestly. We had a very long day having driven up to Holland to get the last of our things after a move. By the time we got home, neither felt like cooking so we decided to order pizza. 2 hours later and still no pizza. I call for a status update and jets tells me that the food is ready but two drivers called off and it would likely be another 45 minutes until it can be delivered. "Nothing I can do about it, our drivers called off". I ask if I can send someone to pick it up and they said yes they'll remove the delivery charge. We get to Jets and guess what? The food isn't even ready. 1. They could have called us when our online order came in to tell us about the delivery situation. 2. Even better, make the delivery option unavailable for online ordering. I know it's possible. 3. Don't blatantly lie to the customers. Terrible customer service and it's really a shame bc Jets is usually my favorite pizza. Not ordering from here again. read more

This was my favorite pizza chain in college, but my past two experiences at this branch have been bad. About a month ago my boyfriend and I ordered pizza and Turbo Stix from here. After it arrived, we found that the pizza sauce we ordered with the Turbo Stix was missing, so we called in to ask if we could get some. The person on the phone was incredibly rude. When he heard what the problem was his first reaction was to ask, "What do you expect me to do about it?" I asked if we could please have the sauce we ordered. He had a bad attitude and condescending tone the whole time and went out of his way to make things difficult (asking what our address was and then interrupting a lot and having me start over a number of times when I tried to spell it for him--he wouldn't even let me get four letters into it). Eventually I gave up and, for the first time in my life, asked if I could please speak to someone else working there. He put me on hold for a long time. When the phone was finally picked up, a second man on the other end was very polite and was much kinder. He apologized for the mistake and said someone was on the way with the sauce. The second man ended up saving our afternoon (neither of us like Turbo Stix without the sauce). We used to be regular customers and had ordered from this Jet's once every week or two ever since we moved to the area. But, after this, we were concerned about what kind of service we would get if we ordered from here again. We tried other places in Ann Arbor, but Jet's was still my favorite. Today, after a very long and difficult day, we decided to give Jet's one more shot. My boyfriend ordered this time. Our Turbo Stix had the sauce, so we thought everything was fine. We started to think that maybe it would be okay to continue ordering from there again since there didn't seem to be any problems. Then, partway through eating, I picked up one of the Turbo Stix and a very crispy fly fell off of the bottom of it (picture included). Jet's was closed by then, so we couldn't call in to report it or ask for a replacement. We ended up needing to throw the order of Jet's Bread away since we knew, based on the fly, that it was made in unsanitary conditions. It saddens me to say it, but we won't be ordering from here again. This branch of Jet's Pizza has thoroughly lost our trust after these incidents. read more

Ordered a large Detroit-style deep dish (veggie + pepperoni) for pickup. It was ready to go in 15 min and it was superb.

Honestly, I feel robbed. I'm trying to eat better and seeing as thin crust veggie pizza is sooooo much better calorie-wise than regular or deep dish crust it seemed like a no brainer getting Jet's version. I love their deep dish so I was like hey, what do I have to lose? Well, I lost $13. $13 on a small, and I mean smallllll pizza. Looked more like a kid's menu pizza. It wasn't bad per-say but at that price point I was expecting dang near perfection. I also got a salad, again a small. A small house salad minus cheese and dressing was $6. Good size to split between two people but it was not fresh. At all. Lettuce was already browning and the green pepper had this really odd taste to it. I tipped them $3 for a total damage of about $24. Highway robbery if you ask me. read more

During this pandemic this jet's Pizza store has not been making their deep dish pizzas as deep as they used to. the 5 mile Plymouth store and the South Lyon store are thicker. don't know what the issue is. Is it a big issue not really, but we're still paying the same for less. read more

Being from San Diego, I wanted to spend my time in Michigan trying things that I can't get back home. Jet's Pizza is just down the road from my hotel so I wanted to give them a shot. Two words; deli boats. Think a deli-style calzone. So delicious & HUGE! One is $7 & I figured at $7, it can't be that big. Again, I was wrong. & the Triple Cheese Jet's Turbo Stix ($6) have to be the best cheese bread I've had in my life, no question. I just hope these guys don't make their way to Southern California. ****Great Detroit Style Pizza**** Jet's is great. The deep dish square pizzas are definitely a step up from Domino's, Papa Johns, and the like. In NY, these are most comparable to Sicilians. However, the dough is a little lighter in texture and fluffier and the sauce is also a little lighter and sweeter. Probably greater dough:sauce ratio here. In my opinion, better than most Silician slices I've gotten in NY, which is pretty high praise. Fairly greasy, and the crust has a nice marginal burnt crispiness. You can taste the quality of the ingredients. It's not "gourmet" pizza, but its very good for a chain. The downside is cost. Menu prices are high and no coupons are provided on the website (unlike the big chains)...try to get your hands on some coupons as they make a big difference. It's still expensive, but for the quality of pizza makes it a much more viable option. For the price I'm not sure if getting the round pizzas is really worth it although I haven't had one of these in a while. FINAL VERDICT: Definitely delicious and novel enough for the deep dish/8 corner pies to make my rotation of local pizza options or order from when I am in SE Michigan -- good to try if you're interested in Detroit-style pizza. read more

Jet's is pretty decent. Definitely a step up from Domino's or Little Caesar's. But also definitely not amazing. Not anywhere as good as Cottage Inn or NYPD or Pizza House or Mani Osteria (to name just a few Ann Arbor 'za joints). I enjoy Jet's when I eat it, and it's a good choice when eating on the cheap, but this place should not have a 5 star rating. read more
