Great pizza & value! I stopped ordering from other chains and sticking to Toarminas. Highly recommended

These pizzas are humongous. Someone bought these for an alumni event I attended. The pizzas are standard. Nothing special but both the pepperoni and vegetarian pizzas taste fine. These are a good option for large groups and parties. The largest boxes will feed plenty of people. read more

Another "Pizza Thursday" and I wanted to try something new. We had a Toarmina's around the corner from my house growing up and I remember ordering from them often and getting their HUGE pizza for parties and special occasions. I remembered liking them but didn't remember much beyond that. Happy to report it's still good! Since it was a regular ol' Thursday we just went with a large (aka not party sized) pepperoni and mushroom. It was cheesy and had a good distribution of toppings. The crust was flavorful and chewy (in a good way). We also got the cheesy bread which was VERY cheesy and delightfully greasy. My only complaint is that we didn't get the dipping sauce I ordered but that's a small quibble. We also added an order of two cannolis for dessert and discovered they're made by "Sarah's Sweets" which I had regularly seen on the food ordering apps but never knew where they operated out of. They were also very tasty and now I'm curious to try even more of their offerings. Online ordering through their website yields cheaper prices and some great promos compared to ordering through a food app, although I did have to go pick it up. But since I prepaid it was an easy in/easy out situation. My husband also loved it and we'll definitely be adding it to our regular pizza Thursday rotation. read more

Really good garlic bread for the price. Missing the crunch a bit and if put in oven for an extra 40 would do the job. The problem with putting it back in the oven is that it could loose a little bit of it doughy feel. Student budget friendly. read more

I like their pepperoni calzones. Pizza is also good, and so far is consistent. They use real mozzarella cheese. They have lots of coupon deals on the Slice app or Snackpass app. Polite service. I'm a relatively new customer here, so I will update later on quality/consistency over time. Vegan and gluten free options available. No in house seating, just take out. Cute rocks and minerals display on the counter. read more

First time ordering pizza from Toarmina's. While impressed with the size of the 24" pizza, I'm not impressed with attention to detail. I ordered the pizza online so no room for error. Order all spelled out in black and white, yet they failed to add the mushrooms AND the sesame seed crust. That just doesn't happen anywhere else. Probably won't order again. read more

Delicious pizza. We enjoyed it very much. Rest in and out. They participate in a good saver program which is really good! No waste. I had not heard of this pizza before but it was very good. Lots of cheese and toppings. Nice crust. read more

Forgetful, completely unfocused, no attention to detail, and false advertising. I had to tell my order 4 times (8" pizza, gourmet steak and cheese), and they were still confused as to if I wanted pizza or a sub. They offer a Gourmet Pizza called "Steak and Cheese" that comes with 6 toppings, but when you order it they repeatedly corrected me "you just want 2 toppings steak and cheese then." We go back and forth, I point to the menu, and they're still confused. Their offer for free pizza is a hoax. "Thanks for being a VIP member! Enjoy a FREE 8" pizza when you order online burritojoint.com & enter code FREEPIZZA Reply STOP to cancel msg&data rates may apply". Turns out the 8" DOESN'T EXIST on their online menu nor their store menu. Do you see any topping restrictions? I don't.... But they say it's only for cheese on it-- not even sauce. "Ok I can make something for you." He chuckles. So creepy. read more

I'm updating my last review where I dinged Toarmina's for forgetting to add green peps to my custom pie. With today's takeout order, the friendly and apologetic manager made up for the previous blunder with plenty of free green peppers on my delicious 12" Veggie pizza also loaded with fresh 'shrooms and onions. Knowing Toarmina's corrected the problem with a smile...and some extra sauce for my Italian-style wings...my pizza tasted awesome. I'm upgrading my rating to a solid 4 stars. Thanks Toarmina's for restoring my faith in your local establishment. Great pie! read more

Instead of ordering from a chain, we tried out this local pizza restaurant during the quarantine. Overall, I enjoyed the thickness of the mozzarella cheese and the freshness of the topics. When we ordered the 14" online, the menu said it would come in 10 slices but I did notice that we received 12 slices instead, so I'm not quite sure if the menu was outdated or if it was a slight mistake on their end. In my opinion, I would have preferred a little bit more quantity on the toppings. I'll most likely order from them again down the road since I truly did appreciate the overall freshness of the pizza! read more

Went to Zal-Gaz Club for the music & order pizza & salad delivered. It was easy to use the app & service came to the Club in about 25 minutes. The salad was fresh & the pizza was hot & delicious ! Had flavored crust & the toppings were great ! Would recommend everyone to join the Zal -Gaz club for the music, entertainment & events as well as if, their food service is closed - order it in from Toarmina's ! Makes for a wonderful evening out !!! read more

Their dairy free pizza is BOMB.com. Love a place with a dairy free option as it is so hard to find!

Toarmina's is really trying hard to win everyone over. The pickle pizza with ranch dressing was wonderful, wish is was always on the menu. Good homemade dough and sauce, generous toppings. Give them a chance instead of ordering from a big national chain. Be sure to get on their text list so you can get the coupons. read more

Only place open late enough for me to get anything to eat. I got a pizza and boy was I surprised! Pizza was the best! This is a place I'll go to more often and also try other items they carry. Great job Toarmina's! read more

I ordered a super sub toasted and the lady working there made me the best sub I have had in many years. Simply fantastic and lower cost than subway for the similar. Hats off to the lady that made my sub. She even catered to my pepper preferences. read more

A great local Pizza place. We ordered a vegan pizza online through app. It came with cheese. We freaked. We called and the guys were super nice. They rush delivered TWO vegan pizzas (one complimentary) within 15 minutes. The first two times we ordered from here, it was great. This time, we ordered online, and I stated I didn't want green peppers on the veggie sub, and that I only had a $50 bill. The order came with the peppers, and disgusting canned mushrooms, and a stoned delivery driver who gave me my change (I gave him a 50, bill was 24.50, so I'm giving a 5.50 tip) as a 10, nine crumpled dollars and one dollar in change. Like, nickels and dimes. Fuck that. We are obviously spoiled for choice on the west side of A2. Cottage Inn wins. read more

A solid pizza joint, not the best in Ann Arbor, not even top three but this place will get the job done if you want pizza. I actually really liked the cheesy garlic bread, that was the best, tried a Detroit style pizza, good not great, and a regular pizza and again good not great. Maybe if they have a deal going on or if you are really close you should hit this place up. Not bad but easily forget-able. read more

Whoever made sandwiches on this day just sucked Feb 22 1:45 pm...I had the same sandwich earlier in he week and it was so good I wanted to buy my buddy one and myself one. Pretty good and pretty cheap. A step up from cottage inn, but probably not as good as dominos if you ask me, at least considering how much cheaper dominos is. But I did really like the sauce, and you could tell the mozzarella was fresh! read more

Love the pizza - but asked for contactless pick up , first - two people making pizza had no masks the counter person did have a mask - and made me sign cc slip with a pen. Rating is less than one!! I ordered using a coupon which described exactly what I should have delivered. Delivery was supposed to be 1hour, it was 1 45 later than that. The pizza was cold and the whole order wrong! The driver told me my salad was in the car, and he then drove off! I called and was told there wasn't a manager on duty and either a manager or owner would call, that call never came! I called back and am still waiting! Just a horrible experience all around! it's my second time there and my second bad experience. I gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time and will never be back read more

Man was I excited for this "24 in Detroit style deep dish" So excited I sprung for the extra toppings at 3 bucks a topping(if I am going to get or give covid during this transaction, might as well have the toppings I want right?) Well to the mother fucker who put that in the box to pass off as what you actually charged me for, you can call that a "detroit style pizza" but its really just a good old fashioned "Fuck You Special" read more

One of the Managers is Fred. He seems to be there whenever I place an order and do takeout. Right now he says that he's doing an 80-hour week with all the takeouts and deliveries. Nice guy. Give this place a try and ask about any "freebies" which they often do have. On West Stadium just south of Stadium Hardware. It's our go-to pizza place. Plenty of cheese and topping! Edge was not overwhelmingly too large like some chain pizza places. The sauce was tasty. Maybe taste buds have to match the sauce but this one we really like.
