If I could give less than 1 star I would. The empty 1942 bottle likely explains my experience. The owner, Baby J, works in the dark like some kind of reclusive vampire. While she has the hands and nose of a model and the feet of a toddler, Baby J's 3 pairs of reader glasses are an egregious display of poor vision. The art is questionable including a hand-drawn framed picture of the owner's beloved cat whose eyes follow you, creating a distracting level of discomfort and paranoia. It's difficult to relax at Jessica's Place because the owner's energy is that of a caffeine fueled meth addict, not to mention the line outside the door and the unpredictable office hours despite signage indicating otherwise. Expect to be overwhelmed by projector sized monitors and a flurry of furious SQL queries, only to be outdone by the owner regaling tales of her morning cold plunge and meat sweats. Make sure you are ready to answer several questions even if you come to ask a question. The manager will ask you to think logically about what you just said. Small space but good atmosphere. Recent change in cleaning policy which is awesome! The dark lighting helps you get sleepy if needed. Super knowledgeable. If you ask the owner a question just know you'll be answering five afterwards. If you schedule an appointment ahead of time, there is a 75% chance you'll need to reschedule the following day before 8:30AM. Change of hours daily even thought the sign is posted. Call ahead. Recommend trying the Smart Pop cobbler, Sugar Free Red Bull on the rocks, or ask about any extra Torchy's chips and queso. read more
