This is the third time I have relied on Repair Republic to help me with electronics like pc and…read moresmart phones. My iPhone X had battery and screen issues. I was properly greeted as soon as I walked into the store. After Leo at the front desk saw my iPhone's condition he provided a repair quote for battery and screen replacement. I was so relieved he told me they are well-stocked with all the parts necessary. I was originally told it would take about an hour and a half for the repair to be done. I was willing to wait so I did. I was offered bottled water to drink. Within a few minutes Leo told me that he assigned my repair to the technician and gave it priority since I was waiting. Now that's great Customer Service. I can testify I only waited about 10 minutes and within that time frame Leo came back to tell me my iPhone X was finished being repaired. Such a pleasant surprise in today's climate to be treated like a valued customer. I was given courteous treatment and priority as a customer in their store. Summarizing, it is so refreshing that Repair Republic is a local Oak Cliff business which treats customers with respect and provides expert and fast repairs. They fix different brands of cell phones and computers. So if you use them, I'm sure they will give you the same kind of great service I experienced over the past several years.

For once in my life, I hadn't backed up a drive (that I had no reason to think was about to…read morefail...but that's my fault all around). If you've ever been kicked to the curb in a relationship and had no idea what happened, but you had your heart and soul in it and no matter what you tried, you couldn't fix it, well, you'll understand the feeling I had. In the case of my hard drive, however, I was glad I found Ace Data Recovery, who could fix it. My drive had some precious data and artwork on it, and Ace Data got it back. As you likely know or will find out, this is not a cheap proposition. All drives will eventually fail and, fortunately, these days it's fairly inexpensive to buy a good external drive. But if the day comes that you're stuck and need an honest assessment by a reputable company...this is a good one. Diana and Don were very helpful and responsive, and I got back everything I'd hoped for. Fwiw, I spent several weeks after first contacting them, learning everything I could about data recovery and comparing prices. Ultimately, it became obvious that it's faster and safer (and cheaper in the long run) to take your drive to an expert. The price I received from Ace Data was consistent with other places of the same caliber! That's the important distinction if you want a reliable, quality level of service -- in short, you get what you pay for, and I did.

I was having some serious startup and boot issues with my…read morePC, and he was able to thoroughly troubleshoot everything and figure out exactly what was causing the problems. What I really appreciated was how thorough and transparent the process was. He tested multiple different factors right in front of me, explained what he was checking, and didn't just jump to a conclusion. After going through everything, we were able to confidently determine that my hard drive and power supply needed to be replaced. The diagnosis didn't take an unreasonable amount of time either. He knew what he was doing, answered my questions, and gave me a clear solution instead of having me waste money guessing and replacing random parts. If you're having computer problems and need somebody who can actually diagnose the issue properly, go see Computer Fix Dallas. Very knowledgeable, professional, and thorough. Definitely recommend!

24 Data is the ABSOLUTE best. Let me get started by saying I am a small business owner and Dallas…read moreand the team at 24 Hour Data have saved me from disaster with four separate clients, which could have ended my biz. They are literally my techie super heroes, and I can't speak highly enough of them. My drive was pulled off of my desk and dropped on hard wood floor, and I sent it in to a friend who recovers hard drives and it was out of his scope so he sent it to another data recovery place that was highly recommended. There were multiple problems, and it is a very complicated recovery, outside of a 24 hour deal, but I was still hoping for a relatively timely solution. My work is highly time sensitive and even one lost file is a huge problem, so I gladly paid to have this done. With the other company I was quoted 2 weeks, but fast forward FOUR weeks and they had given absolutely ZERO communication outside of the extremely vague "working on it, it's complicated." let alone any files. I took my drive back and brought it to 24 hour data and already had more updates and communication within 24 hours than I did in over a month with the other company, not to mention I GOT FILES BACK for the first of the four clients within THREE DAYS. They wanted to give me something to get started on while I wait for the rest, which they expect soon. Let me tell you, this means the world to me and I just want to shout it from the rooftops. They've been understanding and kind, and the most wonderful communicators every step of the way. Their customer service, professionalism, speed and mind reader abilities are the absolute best. TLDR/Too Long Didn't Read - 24 Data kicks ass, it doesn't matter what happened to your data, you can trust these guys. Dallas is a freaking data recovering ninja.

He consistently told me he recovered lots of data (around 2TB) and I asked for proof like pictures or videos of my data and he just completely ghosted me and never provided me proof. Then when I kept hounding him to give me this assurance he ended up sending me my drive back with someone else's data on it (after he initially sent my drive back with literally nothing on it). Completely lack of accountability and constantly makes excuses for his lack of integrity. Take this review for what you will but I'd just completely disregard having this company do data recovery.
