Fantastic meal from beginning to end. Meat and chicken were tender and juicy, vegetables were super fresh and delicious, and the pickles knocked our socks off. Staff and service were fantastic. Am contemplating planning a return trip to this city primarily for lunch here! read more

By far the best shawarma spot in Calgary!!! Not only it's clean and food was delicious but the guys provided THE BEST experience for us (family of 9). The shawarma jumbo was generously filled. I am visiting from Texas but I might have to come back here sooner than later just for them. read more

Ordered delivery using skip - ordered the everything Falafel. It was well made and full of flavour. Ordered the combo so it also came with seasoned potatoes - these did not disappoint. Overall a really enjoyable meal - incredibly filling the wraps are quite large. Will order again! (Sorry about the photo I only took one on my Instagram and then devoured my meal!) read more

Jerusalem Shawarma - Everything Falafel - Middle Eastern Near Me - Calgary, Alberta

Everytime we come here we always order the same thing. One large chicken shawarma loaded, one kid chicken shawarma with lettuce, and the lamb bbq plate. All of it has great flavour. The large is almost too big for me. The rice and lamb is great. I also really like the potatoes with garlic sauce. Staff is very friendly and place is well lit and clean. This is our go to shawarma place that's close to home. read more

I terms of overall quality this place is 3-stars, pretty standard, and not any different than the many other shawarma places around the city. The extra star though is given for the construction of their wraps and the decor. This place looks like somewhere you'd actually want to sit down and eat. They've spent some money and put some thought into the decor. Unlike many other similar restaurants in the city that have that sterile cafeteria feel to them and maybe even have questionable cleanliness, here there's nice booths and tables. For the construction of the wrap there's an extra layer of flat bread. They have a large, very thin, outer wrap that covers the "guts" in an impenetrable blanket that won't let any sauce escape onto your pants. Perfect if you're grabbing a wrap to go. read more

Bought a Beef Rice Bowl. Other Jerusalem Shwarmas will absolutely top off the bowl, and for 12.99. For 15.99, they skimp on filling it up. No smile, no enthusiasm from the employees, felt uneasy in the restaurant. Come here if you want a $16 bowl filled half way up with rice and dry beef. Go to others, 130th has always been really good, I recommend them. read more

By far, best in the West. Hummus is unbeatable, and the meals have generous portions.

We ordered the Falafel Shawarma Wraps and they made the falafels fresh for us because they don't let the falafels sit as they get soggy. They were tasty! I had my shawarma with all of the toppings including hummus, garlic sauce and hot sauce. It was good and filling but as someone who likes a lot of flavour i was a bit disappointed. I was expecting the flavour to pack more of a punch. I went back and asked for a side of more sauce and I was offered tahini. It didn't help much in the flavour department but added more moisture as the falafels needed to be paired with lots of sauce as well as flavour. The person helping was great and very accommodating. I don't always feel so welcome at other Jerusalem Shawarama's. I would definitely not say that this is the best shawarma in Calgary, however it is a great choice if you're craving some good shawarma's. read more

This chain has a few locations in the city but I think this one is the best specially compared to the one close to signal hill. I highly recommend the donator wrap (large obviously). read more

Best shawarma we have EVER eaten. Extremely fresh and flavorful. Large amounts of food for a reasonable price as well. We came in with a large group and they happily accommodated our varying orders and preferences, gave extremely helpful and delicious recommendations and threw in the dessert on the house! A very friendly environment and amazing food. read more

Good food and value. Nice design and friendly staff. They have great family platters that are huge and excellent value for the price.

Authentic and delicious; I crave their beef shawarma every time I leave Calgary. My favourite place here by far. Hoping they'll expand to the east coast! read more

I actually love this restaurant - food is fantastic but they need to pair with a delivery service like skip the dishes there is not enough room to eat there and we have children - we want the convenience of ordering in - you loose a lot of business with this policy. Also the policy for delivery changes every time I call - free if $100 or $10 if at least 6 orders? Regardless families want to order not pick up. read more
