I was eager to try this restaurant after seeing all the good reviews and I have to say I was disappointed. The menu is fairly small to start with and on the day we visited quite a few items were unavailable. I even had to take a substitution on my meal because they only had 2 meats available. The flavor was pretty good but the lack of items available put a damper on my visit. Maybe it was just a bad day, so I will visit again and update my review. read more

Excellent service and food every visit!!! Everything on the menu is freshly prepared and the customer service is excellent. I enjoy the food during every visit. The staff is constantly cleaning and the place is neat. The vegetables in my salad are always fresh and never wilted. I really enjoyed every visit. read more

I have nothing but good things to say about this place! I love everything I've had from the chicken philly, hummus, falafel, grilled chicken salad, and the tasty baklava! The cucumber dressing is soooo delicious on literally everything! Small spot, clean, and the staff are super nice. The wait can be a little lengthy sometimes but almost every time we've received a complimentary hummus for the wait. read more

This was a very good find. The food is healthy, wholesome, and delicious. You order at the counter then they bring the food to you. Nothing fancy, just very good food. read more

Found this wonderful gem on yelp. Food was amazing with left overs. Service was great. Food arrived just like we ordered. If you are in the area drop in. By the way it is hidden behind another building so hard to locate. read more

Ok, Rome. Can we please keep this place in business? These guys make great Middle Eastern food - hummus tasted fresh and simple, the baba ganoush was very green and also fresh, the koefte (meatballs) were very savory and tasty. Expect to pay about $10-12 for a plate of food, but it's filling, warm and good! I can't wait to go back and try the falafel. I'll echo the folks that refer to them delivering. I asked them if they in fact, do deliver, and they said 'yes!' read more

I second the reviewer below. Their food is delicious and worth every penny. For what it is, it is quite reasonably priced. Service is helpful and friendly, whether you are getting take out or dining in. Also the cooks will customize dishes for you; I like my gyros and kebabs spicy as hell, and they deliver every time!!! Great place. read more

this place was great.... Service was top notch and we had such a great relaxing post soccer game meal with family and friends. Must visit place in Rome!!!! read more

I love this place. Finally, a place in Rome where I can gorge on falafel and gyros. Once you finally figure out how to find the parking lot, you are in for a treat. I always get the #1 gyro combo or falafel of course. You can get the falafel in a pita too, which is pretty good too. The staff is very friendly, and every time I order take out, its ready before I get there (takes me about 7 minutes). Can't find that geocache of a parking lot? Don't worry, they deliver! read more

Excellent food, generous portions, reasonable prices, and a friendly staff. That pretty much covers just about everything I look for in a restaurant. I will definitely be back. read more

First time visit and we were not disappointed! It's a little difficult to find since it's tucked behind a couple other restaurant but well worth the search. I would highly recommend it. The food and the service was fantastic. Super fresh, super flavorful. read more

Limited menu but truly amazing food. It is a favorite of locals and always bustling with people

Driving through town and read positive review so decided to try. Was not disappointed. The food was delicious and unique. The service was very good. And then there is the baklava. So good. Would return if ever in the area. read more

This is a great place to eat. Friendly staff. Could tell that I had never eaten there before and offered recommendations and help. A little tough to see the place if you are not familiar with the area. read more

This place is an awesome contrast to the many chain restaurants that seem to dominate Rome, GA. The Mediterranean style food is so tasty and feels healthier than the average work lunch. The guys that work the counter and cool and professional and the 2 walls of glass in the restaurant provide a bright natural atmosphere. There's also a bit of a secret menu. Ask for the cheesesteak made with gyro meat instead of beef, it's amazing! read more

Excellent food. Excellent service. They offer some healthier options that the average place in Rome. We must go more often!

Absolutely wonderful food with authentic flavors. The service is excellent. Reasonable prices. Awesome humus and tabouli salad. The chicken on a skewer is my favorite. read more

Tried it for the first time and mad that I waited so long to try this great place! The food was excellent, we ordered several things and shared them all. My personal favorite was the grilled veggies with hummus. Also loved the Turkish coffee and the baklava. I will not be making baklava anymore, theirs is way better than mine and the price is much better. We were pleasantly surprised at the prices for everything, very reasonable! read more

Fresh, delicious, quick service. Stopped because of reviews, and they were on spot! Hummus, chicken kabobs, lamb were outstanding. Service was friendly and fast. Wish I lived here to make this a favorite spot to eat! read more

I'm in agreement with the others - this is a fantastic new place with wonderful food and a friendly, helpful staff. Today was my first visit and I had the falafel plate, which came with rice, salad (with a really nice, tangy dressing) and pita. Some of the best falafel I've ever eaten. Really good tzatziki sauce, but even better tahini sauce for dipping. Asked for one, but got to try both! I also got to try the dolmas (stuffed grape leaves), which they brought to me after I mentioned I would try them next time. They were great! So excited to have this new restaurant in Rome and was glad to see the large lunch crowd today! Come on out and give them a try! This restaurant needs to stay! read more

I got take out yesterday from Jerusalem Grill. I'm on a low carb diet, so I got the Kabob Combo without rice and they substituted a salad for the rice. I also got an order of hummus. First off, the kabobs were fantastic. They were tender and flavorful. The sauce on them definitely complemented the overall taste. They kabobs didn't make it back to the hotel. The only thing I was bummed about was that they no longer had lamb kabobs. Instead, they had substituted beef kabobs. They were still really good, but I would have preferred lamb. When I got back to the hotel, I had the salad that the kabobs had been laid upon. The salad was very good, except for the olives. They were kind of bitter, but it wasn't enough to detract from the overall dinner. My only problem was the Hummus. Being on the low carb diet, I tend to eat hummus with a spoon. The hummus wasn't as flavorful as most that I've had. It tasted like there wasn't any garlic in it. It was also a little grainier than other hummus I've had at other places. Since I've only been there one time, I'm hoping it was just an off day. It wasn't so bad that it keeps me from trying it again, just not on this visit because there are other places to try! I'm always on the lookout for Mediterranean / Middle Eastern places because I love the food and it fits my diet really well. Give it a try! read more

This place tasted an awful lot like the wonderful food cart I had last year when I went up to NYC (which I loved). The restaurant was clean, the employees were nice, and the food was excellently made. I highly recommend trying this place out. The easiest way to get there seems to be through the old Western Sizzlin' parking lot. read more

My wife and I had lunch here and the food was very good. We also liked the cleanliness and atmosphere. We highly recommend it.

I eat here every time i come to Rome, GA. Their hummus is probably the best i have EVER had, and that's saying a lot. I always have the chicken kabob salad. Their hot sauce is amazing too. read more

The food was awesome! We are new to Mediterranean food, and the people there were very helpful. The portions were large and I felt like I was actually eating healthy. Can't wait to go back! read more

This place never disappoints. In my opinion, Jerusalem Grill is by far the best restaurant in Rome. The location is somewhat hidden, making it a true hole in the wall, but I can assure you that you will not be disappointed! My favorite menu item is the chicken kabob. Some reviews have said this place is pricey, but for the amount of food you get I would argue that it's a great deal! This is clearly a family owned business and they run it very well. The servers are incredibly polite and eager to make your experience the best it can be. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for good food and a friendly atmosphere. read more

I agree with Alexander W's review. Stopped in today for the first time and had an outstanding falafel sandwich. At $4.99 a great deal especially considering how fresh it tasted. Even at about 1:15pm the lunch crowd was still going strong. Friendly service as well. If you're looking for a change from the chain offerings of Rome, give them a try. If we don't suport the smaller shops they fade away. Tricky to git into-through the Walgreens parking lot or next to the old Western Sizzlin is your best bet. Hours are 11am to 9pm 7 days a week read more
