Panang Curry with Chicken

Quiet, fun atmosphere. Feels very hole in the wall, I was one of the only people in here. I was greeted and seated immediately, and the host was very friendly. Service was very quick and I receive my food quickly. The Panang curry broth was tasty, there was just a lot of extra veggies that aren't traditionally in Panang curry that I've seen (corn, edamame, peas, carrots) and the chicken was not very seasoned. The portion size was fairly modest compared to other places I've been. Given being in Rome, it got the job done!

We've been here 2x. My husband thinks the yellow curry is very good. I've tried two different things, including pad see ew, and wasn't a big fan of either. Not horrible, but not very good, either. Their pad see ew is different from other places, much less sweet and distinctly fishy, even when the protein is chicken. The chef must be heavy handed with the fish sauce The decor inside, including the menus, is enough to make you crazy and give you a headache. They've never heard the expression "less is more"!

My boyfriend and I went here for the first time today and we loved the food and the decor! The man working there was also very nice and helpful. My boyfriend got the sweet and sour stir fry, and he ate every bite of it and loved it, and I got the rice soup and also loved it. The food was also presented very well. The food took about 6-8 minutes to be done after ordering which was really impressive. Overall a great experience for both of us and we will be coming back.

We LOVED Jasmine Thai Cuisine! We found it on Yelp and decided to try it! I'm so glad we did. It's a super small restaurant but so much fun to go to! The food was amazing and came out so quickly! They were also super friendly and the prices were really good. It is some of the best Thai food I have ever had! This is my mom's new favorite place to go when she comes to visit me!

Was in town to visit my teen who is at Berry College for the summer. I didn't want to hit this place because it wasn't good last time but my son was jonesing for Thai. Very pleasant staff all around. Seated quickly and both people were very engaging. Wife and I ordered the Fresh Basil rolls and some Pad See Ew with tofu. The rolls were fresh with a very tasty basil flavor but could have used some more varied veggies instead of just a lot of lettuce. The pad see ew was spot on with a sweet finish and veggies that were cooked just right. Went with 4 out of 5 for heat because I was splitting with the wife but they threw in some chili powder that ramped it up. Sign out front said under new management. I can def see an improvement in food. I will say that service is still slow, but it is better and it is very friendly.

A business associate once told me... if a hamster only knows his cage, then he thinks it's the best place. There are a lot of people who just don't get a chance to experience different places and restaurants. This place sucked from the outside and was not much better on the inside. ANYONE can throw some can and frozen vegetables into a pot and call it a dish. My dinner cost about .75 cents and I was charged $13.95. The rolls were from a box. Nothing fresh about this place. And something else... fix that bathroom door. The bathrooms are overdue for a makeover. Been there done that... ain't coming back.

Pad See Ew (spelling?)

I wish this place was near my home. Thankfully I come to Rome often. This is my new favorite spot in Rome! Their food is authentic and delicious. The place doesn't even look open from the outside (they need better signage), but they are and it's cute on the inside. It's colorfully decorated, bright and cheery. No booths, just tables. But it's fine enough. I plan on returning and even stopping by to bring food home. I love it!

Solid Thai option for takeout. Their 1-5 heat scale is right on. 5 is a legit Thai hot.

It was very quiet with one other couple in the restaurant. We ordered the summer rolls with shrimp ($5.99), house Thai fried rice with shrimp ($15.99), and pad se ew with chicken ($13.99). We were told it would be about a 15-20 minute wait. There were plenty of open tables so we grabbed a seat by the door and waited. Our food was ready about 15-20 minutes later. We weren't asked about any sauces and the hostess left as soon as she gave us our food. The food was hot and fresh when we arrived back at our hotel. Fortunately, there were napkins and silverware at the bottom of the bag, but no chopsticks or spicy sauce. The summer rolls were unique to me, mostly lettuce and maybe one or two shrimp cut in half and served with a sauce with little flavor. The pad se ew was okay - plenty of chicken in the dish and some veggies too. Had a very mild taste. The house-fried rice had a very smokey flavor to it but lacked the authentic Thai spices we are used to. Tasted like plain fried rice from a Chinese restaurant. All in all, it filled our bellies but I probably won't go back.

5/5 Wimal Authentic Thai…read moreIn town for a work trip, I stopped by Wimal Authentic Thai for some chicken fried rice and spring rolls. The location is in a decent enough spot, but I'd definitely recommend locking your car doors just to be safe. The restaurant is pretty small inside, so I went with a pickup order instead. The food was made with fresh ingredients, and the chicken fried rice was solid -- nothing mind-blowing, but a good baseline Thai-style version. The portions were average, and the spring rolls were decent too. Price-wise, it was pretty standard -- not too expensive, not a steal either. Overall, it was exactly what I ordered and expected. Would I go back? Probably if there weren't better options nearby. I did try a couple other Thai spots in the area that gave bigger portions, better value, and noticeably tastier food. But if Wimal is your most convenient choice, it'll get the job done.

Not the biggest fan of their pad Thai - too sweet, not enough other seasonings to balance it out. The papaya salad is a rock star though - crunchy, flavorful, spicy! Service can be a little spotty during peak dinner hour - the spot itself is small, and they get a lot of takeout/delivery orders. But the staff are really friendly and try their best.

My husband decided to get something…read moredifferent because he really loves Ramen from places like Two Ten Jack and Taichi Bubble Tea in Chattanooga. I got steak and shrimp hibachi which I have purchased many times before as well. Upon arrival of our food, he tasted the Ramen first and made a terrible face so I tasted it as well and it absolutely awful . It did not have flavor, but somehow tasted burned at the same time. Truly inedible. My steak looked like fancy feast cat food and my shrimp tastes like it had been cooked in the microwave. We voiced our concern to the waitress, and her response was "have you never had it before?" to which we explained we had been there many times before and had gotten sushi and hibachi and had Ramen at other places many times. No one offered to make something different, an apology, or to maybe take that off of the check, because we did get one sushi roll that was great! They dropped our check off with the full amount and we left two full plates of food on our table. It was a disappointing experience and we will never be back. I would really like a refund for the Ramen and the hibachi, but since no solution was offered last night I'm not sure that there is one.
