    Beef shawarma plate
    Pranjali P.

Doesn't look inviting from outside but the ambience inside wasn't bad. We ordered beef shawarma plate, beef burger & chicken burger. Food was fresh and delicious. You could taste the freshness. The meat wasn't dry and didn't smell like most of the other shawarma's out there. The highlight was the garlic sauce!!! So good! It was all very filling and we enjoyed our meal. The service was kind and attentive. I will be grabbing quick shawarma's for busy lunch or dinner times. Must try!!

Located in a business complex with plenty of parking. Can get busy, depending on the time. The restaurant was clean and it wasn't busy during my visit. The food was okay... the beef was on the dry side. The garlic and the hummus were good. The salad was standard and the pita was a little hard. 3.5

    Beef/lamb platter with rice

Ordered the beef/lamb rice platter. Pros: White sauce Salad Cons: Meat portions Meat is on the drier side Highlight of the dish is the sauce which is outstanding conpared to all other shwarma places. The salad is well dressed and the rice was plentiful. On the otherhand, the meat portions compared to other shwarma place was lacking. In addition, while it was fine for me, the meat can be a bit too dry for other palletes. For 19.99 it was on the pricier side, but otherwise good.

My go to spot is Raffi's in Glendale but whilst I'm stuck across the border the closest decent place was Zeitoon in N.Van and for take out we usually get Daddy's Grill in Richmond. I was craving koobideh beef skewer and tabouli and then I had a promo on uber eats and decided to give this place a try. I'm so happy we did!! Portions and price are so cheap, also include a can of soda and either rice or fries. Even walked out and the girl chased after saying she forgot give us fresh fries. You won't be disappointed and quick and great portions and most important, low price and clean!

Over a number of visits, the customer service has been a hit or miss. This visit was another miss. We stood there waiting to be seated and ended up seating ourselves. The only server asks if we have been helped when there were two tables of customers (table of 2 and table of 4). She was on autopilot and could not keep track of the customers. She dropped off the menus. Then she preceded to sit at the corner table by the cash register and eat her dinner and look down the whole time....My date got up and ordered the food himself as we did not want to waste our time here watching her eat. I know servers deserve their breaks, but why would she just not say anything after dropping the menu that she was going on break. Plus, just sitting across from me eating her dinner at 7:30pm and why is there no one else covering the floor. We ordered the falafel veggie plate and chicken shawarma. There were at least 3 guys I can see working behind the cash register. They should have had one guy go cover the floor while the server is eating her food. The falafel plate was dropped off after a 15 minute wait. The chicken shawarma plate was dropped off at the wrong table. One of the guys came back out to the floor, took the plate from that table and dropped it back on my table. The food tasted good. I really do like the hummus, and the garlic sauce. The falafel was pipping hot and tasty. The stuffed grape leaf was made of nicely seasoned rice wrapped with a grape leaf. The quality of the food has been consistent over the visits. I just wished the service was also consistently good.

A very tiny yet highly acclaimed restaurant in Vancouver near Yaletown-Roundhouse SkyTrain station…read more We stumbled upon this place while walking right at opening, so we got first pick at one of the 3 tables for dine-in. Definitely try to go at opening or when it is not busy, as the dine-in experience is memorable - they place your order in a long wooden board to make it a beautiful spread. We got the Manoush'eh Special which has ground beef, pomegranate, etc and Sham Style which is shaped like a boat. We also tried the yogurt drink which pairs well with the dishes. The only con is that this place does not have free water, but it is no problem to have our own water bottles supplementing the meal. We also got the lentil soup which is pretty good. Definitely sufficient to share one to try, but the Manoush'eh outshines the rest of the items. I loved the quality and texture of the Manoush'eh and just the breads in general. It is a lot of food for 2 people so if you want a snack, you can definitely just share 1. Some people go here for the wraps too. Overall, an affordable restaurant with good food. We got the most expensive items and it was less than 50 CAD all-in, but a lot of the items are around the 10 CAD mark.

My wife and I came here for our anniversary dinner and we were delighted. We ordered the Chefs Special Sampler for 2 - basically giving us a sampler of everything on the menu for $90 per person. We were really really full and couldn't finish it all. Highlights: - Chickpea Fetteh: warm delightful mixture of ground meat, chickpea sauce, with soaked pita at the bottom and crispy stuff in it. It just explodes with flavour and texture. - dip sampler: the hummus and eggplant mutabbah were really good but that pocket pita bread was out of this world good. Even the tabbouleh was good and my wife normally hates that. - the lamb tartare was AMAZING. It was kneaded so soft that it was practically a paste. When you combine it with the nuts and red spicy sauce and eat it with bread the combo is winning. - grilled Kibbeh and regular kibbeh - both really delightful - the grilled meat plate was great. In particular the chicken with the garlic tahini was really flavourful. The kabob mushrooms and peppers on top of smoked baba ganoush was soo good. Loved the smoke flavour. They finished by serving us baklava sampler which was all really good. From start to finish this is an experience for the ages.
