We ordered the CA Club and it was good -fresh and satisfying. Service was also good and the staff were friendly. The only downside was the dining area. It was pretty messy when we visited, and I had to look around to find the least dirty table since most of them hadn't been cleared. Overall, the food and service were solid, but the cleanliness of the space could definitely be improved. read more

This has become a staple in our house for a quick bite to eat. Sandwiches are always fresh (of course they make them right in front of you) they don't get soggy after a few seconds, and the meat ratio is amazing! Horrible with names so hope I remember correctly but Andrea give my boy Sergio a raise (I was there with my wife around 12:30). Sometimes, a good ole sub hits the spot! At Jersey Mike's, your choice can be a cold or hot sandwich. I usually prefer a hot sandwich because it seems heartier and a real "meal on a bun." One of their most popular choice is the Philly Cheesesteak. But rumor has it, there is a "secret" one that can be ordered by saying "Number 99." It's a combination of #56 (Big Kahuna) and #43 (Chipotle Cheesesteak). I haven't tried it yet, but my curiosity is peaked for my next visit. If you get yours first, please tag me!! They have the traditional turkey, roast beef, ham, chicken, tuna, or Italian meats (prosciuttini, cappacuolo, salami). The hot choices are the Cheesesteak (mentioned above), chicken (Philly or California style), or grilled portabello with Swiss. I came in tonight to redeem my free mini and was helped by Jaydean. She had amazing energy and greeted me with a smile. I was confused when I couldn't redeem my points on the app for a big kahuna but Jaydean explained to me how it only covered cold subs. I don't normally order cold subs but she suggested #13 for me to try and explained the way she likes it prepared. I went with her expertise and was amazed at the level of care and service that Jaydean provided. She is an excellent example of 5 star service. Thank you Jaydean! read more

I visited Jersey Mike's and ordered two subs. One was made correctly, but the second had onions and bell peppers even though I specifically asked for them to be left off. Once I got home, my kids noticed the mistake. I called the store and spoke with a male employee, who asked me to return the original sub if I wanted a replacement. I drove 15 minutes back to the store, returned the sub, and received the new one. However, there was no apology, acknowledgment of the inconvenience, or offer of any kind of compensation for their mistake. Mistakes happen, but the lack of customer service and care in resolving the issue was disappointing. read more

Jersey Mike's is always fire! Andres was super helpful and made a great sandwich! He went out of his way to make sure my sub was in tip top shape, I asked for half of the sandwich no cheese and he put all the cheese on one half like a boss. 3.5-4 stars This building has been at least two other establishments prior, formerly a Ruby Tuesdays (if I remember correctly), and a food hall, now it is a Jersey Mike's Subs and an UPS store. #13 The Original Italian (Mike's Way) Provolone, ham, prosciuttini, cappacuolo, salami, and pepperoni #17 Mike's Famous Philly Grilled onions, peppers & white American cheese. They were pretty busy for a Sunday, and online orders also kept coming in as well. I am glad to see businesses thrive. Overall, great customer service. Very attentive staff and great tasting as always. The parking lot is weirdly shaped, but it was easy to find parking on a Sunday. read more

Checked out the new Jersey Mike's Subs in the old home of the legendary Food Hub and before that Ruby Tuesdays. Mike makes a decent sub and it's nice to have another quick food option in this corner of West Covina. I hope they stay awhile and don't move on like so many eateries, Elephant Bar, Bob's, Ruby, Applebee's... It looks like they've got a good customer focused crew working at Jersey Mike's but they're still learning the Art of Sub making. I got a Super Sub to go but was disappointed when I got home to find they had left off the prosciuttini and cappacuolo basically leaving me with a ham and cheese. When I stopped by the next day to let them know about their mistake I was impressed with their Service Recovery. Alex, the lead, did a good job of apologizing and making it right. All business make mistakes but only the best use a problem as an opportunity to show customers they care. I'll give them Four Stars for now but hopefully with more time and training they can reach their full Sub making potential. Look forward to tasting that and seeing my old friend Danny, from the Alamo Arms in Hollywood, in their commercials. read more

Everyone should come to this jersey mikes! I was craving a good sub and Andres was able to quench that craving! He was very nice and explained all the sandwiches in superb detail. He suggested a variety of sandwiches that he thought I would enjoy, I went for a hot chicken sub that came with bacon and avocado, it was beyond delicious! I can tell he's good with his hands from how well the sandwich was made and wrapped! The place was also very well taken care of, super clean, and no weird smells! I can say that Andres gave me a wonderful experience here at Jersey mikes, definitely will recommend to others and stop by when I have the chance! He definitely deserves a raise! read more

This Jersey Mike's just opened business a few months ago now and I the service here is less than desirable. Whoever is the manager here needs to take accountably for this facility. I placed an order online and was given a 15 min pick up time and when I got there I was told that they were waiting on two sandwiches to be completed. After watching 5-7 people order their sandwiches at counter and getting their order before mine it became apparent that this facility has horrible leadership. I ended up waiting for over 40 mins to get my order. My pick up time was at 3:51pm and I arrived at 3:54 pm. I finally got my order at 4:42 pm. This is unacceptable and I do not recommend this particular facility. The staff working on 4/16/2023 are lead by a incompetent person. Get your goals in order. read more

My wife and I were pretty excited to see a Jersey Mike's opening up less than a mile from our house. In fact, we were so excited that we went a week too early before it was even open and ran into the new owner and his wife. Not only were they super nice, but we also found out that they were going to make donations to the local school with some of their early sales. I have personally stopped by and had sandwiches here 4 times since the grand opening and will continue to come to this location. Maybe because it is new, but I've found all of the employees super friendly. Its Jersey Mike's (which is just way better tasting/fresher) than Subway further down the street and you have owners who support the community. Can't beat that! read more

This Jersey Mike's is what I needed. Ever since it opened it's one of my go to places. I was able to take one of my kids here to do a quick run to take some subs to my mom's house and it was his first time trying the subs. The delight on his face made it all worth it. Even my mom trying the subs for the first time asked me to get some more next time I went to visit her. It might not be as cheap as other places but the quality, the environment, and the service by the workers definitely makes up for the price. Either way, it is not overpriced. I would totally prefer this place with fresh ingredients over any other subs chain. For anyone that is trying to find great subs, friendly workers, faster service at a modest price, Jersey Mike's is definitely the place to go! 5 stars for sure. read more

2 stars for the food being delicious but minus 3 stars for the MASSIVE headache I have from trying to obtain a refund from this location. (TLDR at bottom) Placed an order via the Jersey Mikes app on 03/11 and was able to purchase 4 Udi's Gluten Free Snickerdoodle cookies. Order arrived via DoorDash (DoorDash was automatically picked by the Jersey Mikes app for delivery, food was NOT purchased through DoorDash app) and no cookies were to be found when order arrived at my residence. I called the store to inquire about the cookies & was advised by a female employee that they had "replaced" them with "sugar cookies". No sugar cookies in the bag with my order, I asked if the sugar cookies were gluten free & if yes, I'd go pick them up - I was then informed they are in fact NOT gluten free (I don't understand why an item containing a specific allergen would replace a gluten free item??) Either way, no cookies made it into my bag period. After all the unnecessary back and forth about cookies that I couldn't even eat if I wanted to, the female employee informed me this location doesn't even stock the GF cookies, and that she doesn't know how to issue a refund, so her manager would contact me. Around 3:30PM, location manager, Joseph, called me and advised me I needed to contact DoorDash for my refund as that's who handled the order - very confusing since I placed the order through the Jersey Mikes app but I take his word for it. I contact DoorDash same day and was advised the refund needs to come from Jersey Mike's and that I need to reach out to corporate directly. Absolutely ridiculous at this point. Reach out to Jersey Mike's corporate office and they advise me the direct location needs to provide me the refund since the order was purchased directly from them. SERIOUSLY?!?! Per corporate, they would reach out to the location to have them process the refund. All of this over $10 worth of cookies. Such a massive headache for a simple refund!! Definitely will not be supporting this franchise anymore. Since this hiccup, I have purchased food from the location near the West Covina plaza a few tand have been blown away. The staff at the West Covina location take gluten allergies very serious and their location owner is kind enough to carry desserts for those of us that want something sweet after. TLDR: location doesn't carry gluten free cookies and gives you massive headaches instead of your refund. read more

Both sandwiches that I wanted (#65 Portobello chicken cheesesteak and the #12 Cancro) were not available at this location. I don't understand what the issue is that you can't add chicken to the vegetarian portabello mushroom sandwich (#64 portabello and Swiss vegetarian sandwich which is available). Franchises like this should all carry the SAME menu. Especially since they advertise these sandwiches. read more

The last couple of times, portion sizes have gotten smaller and smaller. If it is a matter of training employees to fill up the boil to what it should be, then that is advisable. If it is a matter of inflation and the restaurant is trying to remain profitable, that's understandable. But then offer different sizes of bowls at different pricing. It makes the customer feel like they are being played when you charge the same but portions are completely inconsistent.
