Today I ordered a sausage and cheese omelet and was grossed out by it. The cheese is processed and didn't even melt, I asked for the hash browns to be well done and they looked like mashed potatoes. Since I was a kid I've been going here with my grandparents it was always the best treat to start the weekend I had nothing but good memories of this place because the food was great and the service was always good too. Now the food is still good but it sucks not being able to make new similar memories with my kids and wife because the service is so horrible it doesn't even make you feel good supporting the business I'd rather walk to mc Donald's or jack in the box for shittier food. If you go in the morning don't go when the regular older ladies go because even if you're first in line they'll just go around to the kitchen side and order there with the cooks so they don't have to wait in line and the staff lets them. Why reward tantrums? And don't even bother going in the evening because you'll be hit with attitude for going in the drive thru and ordering when the staff already cleaned everything they're open till 9PM and still even at 8PM they'll give you the same attitude for the same reason. Bottom line treat your customers like you don't want them there and they won't be. read more

I must say that the Pastrami sandwich was outstanding above and beyond the "Hat". Loaded sandwich. The only thing is that it was more on the salty side and they need to reduce the salt or use another dip that is not that salty. I still gave them a 5 star because of the service was outstanding. The Pastrami was worth the money. I highly recommend this place if you are a Pastrami lover. I can't believe I haven't updated my review sooner. When I left my last review I wasn't actually living in La Puente and had burgers I preferred closer to home. Now that I'm living in La Puente Tasty has become my go-to burger. They still aren't my #1 favorite burger but they are my favorite burger in La Puente. Other burger joints in the immediate area are inconsistent with their food, or just not as good. Tasty delivers every time I go. Their burgers are well made and well proportioned. Their fries are always hot and crispy. I'm not a fan of their chili cheese fries fresh, but I'll devour a plate reheated the next day. The drive thru line can be long, but that's just part of the experience that you have to accept if you don't want to get out of the car. read more

I happened to drive down on Azusa, coming from West Covina and decided to grab a quick bite on the drive-thru. I'm so glad I just happened to make the turn into Tasty Choice. I wasn't really sure what to expect, but this place reminded me of a good burger joint with the typical burger diner that I grew up with near my middle school. I didn't get to stop by inside and check out the vibe, but just the drive-thru alone was very straight to the point and helpful. They offer a variety of other dishes, but they seem to really specialize on the burgers. I grabbed their basic cheese burger meal and substituted regular fries for chili cheese fries. When I got home, I unwrapped the burger and it was stacked perfect. The first bite had the perfect crunch from the toasted buns and the lettuce, burger was cooked perfect with the exact amount of char needed to get that Smokey taste. This was a good burger. Nothing fancy. Just a hearty and solid burger. I definitely will be returning. read more

Was driving home and hadn't eaten dinner, so I went to the drive through at 'Tasty Choice' on Azusa. Wow, they have a lot to choose from, I ordered the Chicken Salad. I was pleasantly surprised, the chicken was so tender and the salad had a whole sliced egg, tomato, cucumber slices and grated cheese. It was so delicious and too much for one meal. The food at this restaurant is amazing. We have been eating here for years and always a good experience. The food is cooked to perfection and delivered to your table quickly. Busy on weekends, so the parking lot does fill up. But you can always use the drive through on those occasions. read more

First time here and ultimately it is what I expected it to be, a ghetto burger joint. There was nothing that really stood out to me though that would pull me back in. I had the pastrami sandwich and it was ok but the meat was just too salty for my liking. My wife however had the bacon burger wrapped in lettuce and she DID like it. She said that the sauce they used made it better. So if anyone is wondering, yes, they do have keto/low carb options for you. Fries were nothing special either. Free refills so they got an extra star for that cause some ghetto spots charge for the refills which loses them a star. I came to try their pastrami sandwich but I'm unable to write a review about it because the four workers who looked at and made eye contact repeatedly with me never bothered to take my order. After five minutes I asked one of the workers if they were still taking orders and he said yes and walked away. I waited a few more minutes while a few other workers looked at me while still refusing to help before I decided this place doesn't deserve the business. To the workers, every single one of you needs to learn how to do your job better. A very simple acknowledgement which takes little to no effort is all it takes to make the customer experience better. Obviously not a single worker there cared enough to do even that. I hope this isn't indicative of the work ethic and culture of the upcoming workforce because it is, we're all going to pay the price for it in some shape or form. Please do better. read more
