Then I saw it right on the window, the Mike's Hot Italian for $8.95, so I figured I'd try it. This thing is loaded. It has ham, salami, and pepperoni all chopped up and grilled with melted provolone, They add grilled onions, shredded lettuce, tomato, with chopped pepper relish that gives it a little kick. The bread was really soft with a light toast on it, The meat was stacked pretty decent. The salty ham, a little spice from the pepperoni, and the cheese all melted in together. Wandered in for lunch as my car was being worked on at one of the many dealerships on Van Nuys Blvd. The reviews of this Jersey Mike's seem to be either 1 or 5 stars, but (for what it is) this was a very well-run location. Friendly staff, they double-checked my order, and as you can see, the interior (ended up being just ahead of the lunch rush) was spotless. Never seen a location look anywhere near this organized; almost out of a commercial. But the line always moves quickly. The main thing that makes this location unique, and the main thing that brings this down to a four-star review, is the parking lot. The parking lot is shared with a bunch of other businesses. So it's difficult to find parking. It's also difficult to get in and out of off of Burbank boulevard, unless you're heading west. So if you're coming from Van Nuys boulevard, or coming from Burbank boulevard from the east, it's really difficult to get into and out of the parking lot. So just be aware of that, and you'll be good to go. read more

I really enjoy their cold subs here. I usually get a regular club sub, but this time I tried the italian sub and it was just as delicious! I always mobile order ahead and pick up for lunch, but they honestly need a better mobile order pick up system. They never attend mobile order pick ups. You have to flag an employee down which sucks because they see you walking in and just don't care. The line for pick up can literally be out the door and the employees are just standing there. To be able to watch them carve the meat and cheese like the way sandwich shops are meant to be is an awesome experience, you know exactly what you are getting. Dropping this review for Agustin, by far the best service we have got. He went above and beyond to make sure our sandwiches were spot on. He communicates well, listens when a customer speaks and is overall the best worker at Jersey mikes. We always get giant sizes cause they split them into 4 and the #3 Mike's way is top tier in my book, have always enjoyed the Philly from here but give the cold cut sandwiches a shot. This location is small to- medium like all the others and is nice and modern, has plenty of seating and a clean restroom. Tried this place again today and once again had a negative experience. The same short Latino guy with a ponytail was rude and unnecessarily aggressive. We stood in line after about six customers. When he finally asked my son for his order, he immediately moved on to making five other sandwiches from previous orders--without taking ours or even acknowledging us further. After waiting about 8 minutes, I asked when he might be able to take our order. Instead of a simple answer, he snapped back, "Oh, you want another sandwich?"--completely sarcastic and defensive. I was stunned by the attitude and just gave him a look of disbelief before walking out. As I left, he snickered and yelled, "Have a good day!" Because this location now forces you to pay for a paper bag you don't need when placing an order on the app. I've worked in the area for over 5 years. I've ordered here quite a bit. I also order from my local Jersey Mike's locations where I live. Never have I seen a $0.10 charge for a paper bag on any order, in person, online, or through the app. I tried deleting the bag from my order, not realizing it was automatically re-added until I saw my receipt upon pick-up. I tried starting a new order and testing it again - lo' and behold, the bag is added right back to your cart even when you delete it. This place already started charging an insane amount for options like simply adding avocado to your sandwich ($2.45? really? for what, half an avocado? When avocados are no more than a $1 at Ralph's across the street?). But this takes the cake. I won't be visiting this location any more. read more

I went to this jersey mikes on Friday November 7th and have gone to this Jersey Mikes for over two years. My wife and I love this spot as Pablo the assistant manager is amazing and is always helpful. I am sad to say that one experience has led for us to find alternatives or just simply eat at home. Associate as we will not mention blamed us for being overcharged of another customer order and made us feel as if we were taking advantage of being overcharged which doesn't make sense. I don't usually look at my receipt and the customer that wasn't charged let me know that I had paid for their order. I appreciate the customer that informed us for paying for their order as it wasn't their fault. Upon mentioning this to the associate at store, they made me feel at fault. They also hyped up the line to make me feel bad! While I have money to pay for their mistake, I will it be coming back! Pablo the manager made the situation feel right while the associate kept poking as to why I should step off to the side! Camera footage will show who was right. I've been lucky to have a Jersey Mike's literally a mile away from me. It's in a strip mall with a Chipotle, Panda Express, Starbucks. I've lived in this area for 10+ years but I only ever frequented the Chipotle and Panda. The first time I had Jersey Mike's was a looooong time ago in Burbank. I got a cold sandwich and wasn't too impressed with the quality ratio to the price, just thought of it as an overhyped Subway. Maybe I was too faded and all the bright lights made me choose a more generic sub lol. Fast forward and I've been coming here about once a week. My go-to is their #99 (Big Kahuna w Chipotle Mayo Sauce, extra onions) Giant Size ~$15.50. *CHEESESTEAKS *HIGHLY* RECOMMENDED* 15 inch white bread stuffed with meat, extra white American cheese, grilled onions, peppers, mushrooms, jalapeños. Every time I get this, there's so much meat that the sub is heavy to the point where I have to support with both hands. You'll DEFINITELY get your money's worth. To save a little money and get free subs, download their app and scan it when you pay- there are also rotating codes for $2 off, BOGO, etc online, just look up Jersey Mike's coupons. If you check in on Yelp, you get $1 off a Regular or $2 off a Giant. (I still haven't used this offer cuz I forget every time lol) Sometimes I'll get a mini #8 (Club Sub) $7ish for the next day. Their mini size subs are actually filling, the bread might be advertised as 5" but they stuff it full of meat and cheese so it's coming out on each side of the bread. A mini gets me decently full while a regular/half of a giant gets me stuffed. Make sure to not change what's proven and get it Mike's way - I then add mayo, mustard, pickles. The workers here are always cheerful and friendly. None of that zombified customer service from other chain sub shops like Subway - and especially none of that wilted 3 day old compost they call fresh veggies. The veggies here look like they've been just cut within the past 30 minutes - always fresh, tomatoes are always red and juicy, lettuce is crisp, healthy green color, never wilted, onions the same. Cold meats and cheeses are cut slice by slice with their machine. Hot subs they grill their chicken or meat on their flat top. Check my pics! Never again will I go to Subway or any sub place - (except for Bay Cities but that's a different type of sub lol). The prices here might be a few dollars more than Subway, but you're getting phenomenally higher quality ingredients in all aspects plus great customer service. Also, I got coupons for Subway and checked - their new menu is trying to make it seem like they're on premium tier all of a sudden, charging premium prices too.. almost the same as Jersey Mike's.
