Refused to make the sandwich I ordered. I ordered a California Club (a cold submarine sandwich featuring oven-roasted turkey, provolone cheese, Applewood smoked bacon, and fresh Hass avocado, topped with lettuce, tomatoes, and red wine vinegar/olive oil). I was made aware that this location does not sell avocado which I was okay with. They ended up giving me a hot sandwich and refused to make a california club. They told me I was wrong when I mentioned it was a cold sandwich and then said they don't serve that sandwich here. I am beyond disappointed and dissatisfied. Never visiting this location again. Every election when I work the polls, Jersey Mike's will bring over sub sandwiches for the workers. Each election he gives a choice of Ham, Turkey or Italian subs. We are start at 5:30 am and don't normally get done until 8:30 or 9 pm. So when it gets between 1-2 pm that sandwich is really appreciated. I had the Italian and it hit the spot. The people that works there are nice, helpful, and really work to make it right and make it the best. I ususally stop in here either lunch or like tonight dinner. This is actually the second time the wheat roll is rather stale. Whom ever was putting the toppings on the sandwiches instead of scrapping the lettuce or toppings that fell onto the board he actually tossed it back into the containers, the. while checking out the guy who was ringing people up I noticed a Celsius was put on my order, when I said something he was like my bad. Great place, great food, and most of all great staff! There is a young guy there tonight (dark hair with visor, maybe 16 years old and in training) and was absolutely exceptional! The staff is always friendly and quick, the sandwiches are fresh and I have never had a bad sub or gooey bread and the sub never falls apart. I can count on a good sub every time from this place. The only downfall is that sometimes there is no seating available and I haven't seen any high chairs when we've got a 1 year old. The update: there are high chairs! The subs are SO good at this location versus other Jersey Mikes, I don't understand why, but it is. The people are always friendly. Let me say this is the best Jersey Mike's I've been to. My husband and I and our 2 year old ate there yesterday and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The employees were all so friendly and asked us several times how our food was and if they could get us anything. They interacted with our son and laughed instead of scowled at the unavoidable mess and complexity of a 2 year olds sandwich eating experience Our food was excellent and couldn't of been any better ! Sometimes eating out with a toddler can be embarrassing and stressful, the employees at swansboro Jersey Mike's made it a memorable and enjoyable time. Thank you for being so great ! read more

Let me start with Always loved Jersey Mike's Subs! First off the order taker must of had a bad day. Snapped at me when I gave him the order for the first sub!. the 3rd sub he got mad. And was talking to a co worker how I would like my sub. I guess it was a big deal because she said something that made the order taker very upset. Sub #1 Whole Steak & Cheese Onion mushroom salt pepper vinegar and oil. So I got a sub with mayo no mushrooms. No Cheese on the meatball sub. and the 3rd Sub was totally jack! Not Happy ..... I went in with my daughters , they had never been. We were the only ones in there and the young man with glasses was so impatient and when we had questions he was rude. There were all young kids working no management. The floor was horrible. I love jersey mikes in Morehead but they won't see me in this one again. read more

All encompassing incompetence. This recently opened addition to the franchise makes me wonder how it could possibly have made it this far. The store was completely staffed by teenagers who while polite were quite unprofessional. They're lacking experince and it showed. Overall I am very unimpressed. I had heard such great things in anticipation for the opening of this location. The food was fair although drastically overpriced. If I am paying $15.00 for a sub with no frills, just lettuce tomato and onion, I expect a drink to accompany it. No Sir! That will be an added $2.50 for a fountain drink. Good subs when they havent run out of bread, but the last 3 times I've been they were out of wheat bread.

Handled our custom orders of seven people with no problem and staff remained friendly during the dinner rush!
