We love Jersey Mike's and order through the app very frequently. Unfortunately, our special instructions seem to be ignored at this location. This is probably the fifth time this has happened. Tonight extra onions ended up being no onions and oil and vinegar on the side became a sandwich so drenched that it was soggy by the time it got home. The employees always seem friendly but I'm really frustrated that my order seems to be completely wrong every time. I've complained to corporate only to be told it will be forwarded to the franchise owner and that's where it stops. My husband showed up a little early for the order and they were almost done making it. They pay attention to the time the order is for so it doesn't get soggy if they make it too early and exactly to the requests. We have a VERY difficult order and they have never messed up. I have been to Jersey Mikes' in Hemet several times and looked forward to the new store opening in San Jacinto. I ordered a regular #7 and a giant #9. The staff put together my order and everything looked great. When I got to the register to pay. The girl looked perplexed when I handed her a $50 dollar bill for my $30 something dollar order. She shouted down the line to another coworker if they accept $50's. The coworker said no. She then turned to me and told me she could not accept my money. I didn't lay the hope diamond on the counter and ask her to figure it out. I paid with legal tender that is a perfectly reasonable denomination for the amount of food. I left hungry, and I assume the food was thrown away. I unfortunately will take my business elsewhere from now on. I assume other businesses would greatly appreciate legal tender in exchange for their food, You not only lost out on this sale, wasted food, alienated a customer and lost future revenue from me and any one of my friends and family. Both sandwiches were horrible, my nephew got the steak he threw up the whole night he got food poisoning , The tuna sandwich I had to throw it away, the tuna tasted like dogs food, I believe they just opened up the tuna can and pour it on the bread they added mayonnaise and that tasted disgusting.
