But I found Farmer Boys. They allow furbabys on the patio! Awesome. We ordered breakfast and lunch items. I enjoyed my customer sandwich. My family ordered the breakfast meals. And liked those. Writing this review for my dad) Ate at this farmer boys for the first time as my son said they had good pastrami sandwiches. Ordered pastrami sandwich and the meat was part warm and partly frozen. Took it to front counter and asked if it could be warmed up and the cashier responded "I don't know wait to do about that" The sandwich was also dry with no mustard Wasted $15 on an inedible sandwich. As usual, everyone was nice and helpful. My disappointment with visit was my bag of crispy fries was only 3/4 full. Probably seems like a small thing, but when you're on a fixed income and you finally are able to get a treat, it is disappointing to be a little cheated on your treat. I understand that the cost of everything has risen, but I still think it's wrong to order something and only get 3/4 of it. I got one of the new chicken sandwiches and there were about 3 bites of chicken on each side. I was so disappointed. I told Alicia and Raul about it and they got me and extra piece and said next time let them know and they will make it right. It was refreshing and good to know. They have a Hamburger combo special going on now and we took advantage of the good price. Cheeseburger with pickles, onion, lettuce and tomato with fries and drink. The hamburger was tasty, could have used a little more sauce. Staff was quick to serve us. I asked employee to wipe down table and he quickly complied, but I noticed he swiped the food particles on the floor. Worst Farmer boys experience we have ever had!!! We love farmer boys and come often but this location was terrible. First off when we sat at our table the table was sticky and not even wiped clean. My husband got a chicken sandwich with fries. The fries were raw and not even cooked and the chicken sandwich had no sauce and was hard as a rock! Food here use to be so good and the last couple months it's just one bad meal after another. Eggs always over cooked or under cooked and same with the bacon and I'm specific when I order. Not to mention it's expensive to eat here with your family. I live 3 minutes away and picked up a couple of burgers from the drive thru. I ordered at the menu window and when I drove up to the pay window my food was waiting for me bagged and ready to go, remember I live 3 minutes away. when I got home the burgers were ice cold! Huge delicious salads! I got the barbecue chicken salad and it was so big and so full of ingredients. I love the ranch and barbecue sauce here you can get it with fried or grilled chicken. I've been a long-time fan of Farmers Boys and have fond memories of visiting the original location in Riverside. Their food has always been good and reasonably priced. However, my recent experience left me disappointed. I ordered the three-piece fish meal for under $11, and I couldn't help but notice a decline in quality and portion size. The fish just wasn't as good as it used to be. It seems like they've changed distributors, as the flavor and texture weren't up to the standard I've enjoyed for years. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back for the fish anymore. I do like the farm house burger but not a big fan of the fries they are okay. San Jacinto employees treat everyone with respect. read more

Cooks don't read the tickets and don't seem to care about food allergies. When someone orders something without an item on it, it is for a reason. Food allergies are serious and can lead to hospitalization and even DEATH. PAY ATTENTION. This seems to be a common occurrence at this location. Unfortunately, this was my first bad experience at Farmer Boy's. Normally they do a great job at hiring well mannered, pleasant, and friendly people. The girl working the drive thru window was not friendly at all. Instead of politely telling me to tear off the coupon, she said "You need to tear that apart" in an unfriendly tone. Then when she handed me my order, she said nothing and just closed the window on me. Normally, the drive thru girls ask if I need anything else, and after at least they have the decency to say "have a good day". I love Farmer Boys. I have been living in the IE for most of my life and Farmer Boys has been a big part of it. I love the salads. My husband and I are up in age so we buy one salad and split it and it is more than enough. Burgers are also great. If I had one complaint it would be this: When I order the Turkey & bacon grilled sandwich, it is never grilled enough. It is ALWAYS soggy and greasy, even when you specifically order it grilled well.
