I ordered El Pollo Loco on Uber Eats for dinner last night and was really impressed with the freshness and quality of the food! I enjoyed the 4 pc. chicken legs and thighs with two small sides of broccoli and mac & cheese. The meal also came with two tortillas (I opted for corn) and chips & salsa. The chicken was so flavorful and juicy, and the Mac & cheese was creamy and delicious. The broccoli was okay, but next time I'd like to try the small Loco side salad instead. DELICIOUS CHICKEN BOWLS! I highly recommend the Chicken Bowls as the chicken is grilled, flavorful, and hearty. El Pollo Loco has great portions when it comes to chicken bowls. They come with rice, beans, salsa, lettuce, and sour cream. I got the combo which comes with a soda and small bag of chips, it was about $17 bucks. I found the combo was a little too pricey, but satisfying. The service was good, I only had an issue with the drive-thru wait. I wasn't in a long line, yet I was waiting for a good minute. Hemet's El Pollo Loco is pretty tame although it's on a busy street (Florida Ave). It's quiet and people usually opt for the drive-thru window. On July 21 at 1:15PM we had 16 pc thigh and drumstick with 4 sides delivered as we had family from back east hadn't seen in 50 years. The app stated large sides would feed 3 to 4 people. The side wouldn't feed 2 people. The chicken was blacked and over cooked. I tried to order 4 more sides but I am 89 years old and embarrassed and nervious and unable so I ordered another 16 PC 4 sides. Delivery was quick however chicken was blacked and over cooked and instead of thighes they were breasts. I called store to complain and very nice lady said her manager would call me. 3 days have passed we and no call. I spent $160.00 including tip and delivery on food that was sub par. read more

Every thing was bland, even the salsa's, Couldn't stand their rice. Very disappointed with my delivery order. I paid $48 for a 14 piece family meal. It came in a tiny to go box with 2 sides that were only half full. The chicken was extremely dry, and obviously not fresh. I had to drive to the location to pick up more food, as this obviously can not feed a family of 4. POOR POOR customer service!!! Occasionally on a late work night my family will stop at this store for dinner instead of making something at home. Drive thru attendants almost never say hello nor do they ever have a smile on their face. If you ask about anything in your order after they've handed you your food they act extremely put out that they have to get you something else when they forgot it was Already Part of the Order in the first place!! Had one employee close the window on me as I was talking to him. It's a shame because the food is always good, management should expect more out of their employees.
