Not a fan of their rising prices though. 2 regular hot subs - as combos (includes a fountain drink and bag of chips) cost me $30+...FOR TWO...which strikes me as a LOT to pay for two really basic sandwich meals. Let's put it this way - not going to be doing that every day. Not even close. Disappointed - there are no specials, no lunch specials, no two-fers, no "punch card" freebies you can work towards. Come on guys - every one of your competitors makes an effort to woo their customers with specials and promos. Don't you want us coming back??? And I have to say that I have yet to see any benefits or coupons or special pricing in the phone app so what good is the app anyway? What good is being a My Mike's member? I don't know if they're under new management or what's going on but this place has gone way downhill recently. My last few online pickup orders have been late. Today I never got it. Had to leave empty handed and hungry. They kept saying they were making tuna salad and it never came. 20 minutes past my order time I had to demand a refund. The person processing the refund didn't even say anything. It was always so nice to have a treat and have someone else make my lunch once in a while but I am going to have to cross this place off the list. Never going back. read more

Let me start off by saying that I love Jersey Mike's and frequent many locations. This location is close to work so I've been here a few times. I've seen my sandwiches made at Jersey Mike's hundreds of times now over the years and I can tell you they are skimping on the portions here. I ordered a sandwich and watched who I believe was the manager slice the meat for my sandwich. The guy slices the cheese first and lays it on the bread, you can see the bread though the cheese slice. Then he proceeds to slice the meat, same thing. He is basically shaving the meat instead of providing a fair portion. The Jersey Mike's by my house never does this. I think I'm going to take this Jersey Mike's off my lunch rotation because I always feel cheated and still hungry after eating here. read more

While we've never set foot inside this Jersey Mike's, we have ordered online through Door Dash. The first time we ordered some weeks back, their menu was limited. They had no roast beef subs. I figured that was due to COVID and the resulting closures of meat packing plants as workers got the virus. So...I got an Italian sub. Interestingly enough, my husband was able to get a meatball sub which suggests that they probably had a good supply of frozen ones in house. The subs were okay---not quite up to expected standards but still decent. For example, I noticed that they were stingy with the ingredients in my sub. We ordered from them again this weekend. This time, the complete menu was available so I could get my roast beef sub. Also, this time, the portion size was more generous. The sub lived up to expectations as the roast beef was tender and rare. There was one glitch that I won't quibble about---I asked to leave out the onions but got them anyway. No problem---it's easy to just take them off the sub. My husband, yet again, had a meatball sub. Door Dash easily filled the order and got the subs to us in really good time. We have an account with them which makes ordering very simple. No complaints there. As long as COVID remains with us all, we will again order subs at Jersey Mike's. read more

Bummer to learn that Jersey Mike's won't toast the bread for you, even upon request. They got rid of the meatball sub from their menu, and my husband was hoping they could do a warm roast beef sub instead. (He didn't like their steak/cheese, and he doesn't eat other cold cuts). I placed a mobile order and asked if they could toast the bread or heat the roast beef, and when I arrived for pickup they said they can't. "Our hot subs are hot, and our cold subs are cold. We can't deviate." Considering your competitors (e.g., Potbelly, Firehouse, even Subway!) promote the fact that your sub rolls can be toasted, I would think this would be an easy fix to keep up with the competition. Guess not! Well I guess we'll sadly be limiting our future orders with Jersey Mike's until they do or they at least add the MB sub back to the menu. I love the sandwiches here, but if I can't buy for my whole family then we won't be coming back very often. read more

I went for the first time to Jersey Mikes and bought 3 large subs. The Italian sub was very good and fresh and plenty of meat. The bread was fresh also as was the toppings. The reason why I did t give a 5 was their subs didn't stand out from the competition. They were delicious for sure but not unbelievable. First of all, I love Jersey Mike's Subs. I always get a #3 (American Classic/Ham and Cheese). They have great sub rolls, and I enjoy how fresh and thinly-sliced the cuts are... but I digress... The reason for my review on this occasion is to reward for awesome customer service. The guys working the counter this afternoon were wonderful. We were promptly greeted with smiling faces and started to order. Due to the recent power outages, they had to discard their roast beef (my husband's fav order). Hubby was disappointed, but chose another sub. The gentleman brought our order over with 2 free cookies as an "apology for the roast beef". Wow! I have visited the Jersey Mike's Subs location at Hunter's Woods, Reston, VA twice since COVID-19 began. Both times the sub I ordered was good (Italian) but BOTH times I had a problem with the way the workers were dealing with the virus. The first time, the lady slicing the meat had her bandanna mask around her neck, not on her face. The second time, one lady who handed me my cup (with the straw and lid stuck in it!) put her finger in the cup to grasp it! Another lady who was taking the payments and had a mask on, took it off when she went to explain to a new worker how to make a sandwich and help her! It just seems to me that until the employees can observe more hygienic practices, I won't be going to this location in the foreseeable future. Too bad! read more

May 29th (happens to be JFK's birthday) but most importantly my daughter's birthday as well. We went out to lunch and she happened to choose her trusty sandwich place. Today is the first day of the lifting of the quarantine so we decided to enjoy a somewhat muggy lunch outside, sitting at the table! AWESOME! So we ordered ahead, got our lunch promptly, sat outside, enjoying our always perfect JM sandwiches when the lady responsible for sorting out orders made her way outside and brought us all COOKIES! Big disappointment. I didint want to try them out when they first opened but after being open for a couple of months now, I figure that now would be a fair assessment. I ordered a Philly steak and cheese. According to their description, its supposed to come with grilled onions and peppers: none, just melted cheese. My first impression was the bread. I felt disrespected that a "sub" place like Mike's would even serve stale rolls. Second, where's the beef? Whole lotta stale bread, with very little "steak" if you know what I mean. No more excuses about training or working out the kinks. If they dont have it together by now, its safe to say they need to make some major changes. At what cost and for how long should customers be active unknowing training participants? I will give this place one more shot. read more

I love me some Jersey Mikes! Best chicken cheesesteaks from a chain restaurant I've found in this area and better than most delis and restaurants in general. I can't speak to the entire menu but the chicken cheesesteak is amazing. Get some bacon and jalepenos to really get the experience. This location is relatively newly staffed so the wait times during peak hours can be a bit rough but I imagine it will get better with time. Food is still great. read more

Both the quality and the execution of service were absolutely horrific. 1) Both sandwiches were made incorrectly the first time. 2) The second time, the sandwiches were just plain disgusting. My only personal issue with the sub I've had so far are that I really like toasted bread. Love their oil, vinegar, and spices combo. Not as good as a Li'l Dino's Steak & Cheese but, it'll do for now. I ordered an Original Italian Tub/salad and an Original Italian hoagie via Door Dash. I requested the salad to have extra onions, extra lettuce, oregano on the salad, and hot red pepper spread on the side. It arrived with 3 slices of onion, no cheese, no red pepper spread, a scant amount of lettuce and no oregano. I requested my hoagie to have extra onions, oregano, salt and pepper on my sandwich and red pepper spread and pickles to be on the side. My sandwich arrived without onions, no salt/pepper or oregano and the pickles and red pepper spread was on the sandwich which made it soggy! There was no cheese and no lettuce my sandwich! I paid $32+ for this order and it was 100% wrong! I called the store and the girl who answered said she was the manager and the reason for the incorrect order is because the print is small when Door Dash orders come through and her staff can't really see what the order states?! Are you freaking kidding me?! I asked her for a refund. She said I had to go through Door Dash.... ok.... I contacted DD and they provided a $5 credit! What a freaking joke! I'd like to be contacted by the owner or a 'real' manager who knows how to appropriately interact with a client and hires staff who can read an order properly! Gee, how about you contact the customer if you see there are notes regarding the order to clarify the specifications?! not super happy with the service here today. both of our orders were wrong and one was fixed upon request. there was no one in the store when we walked in and 3 girls behind the counter. a tuna sandwich was made prior to mine and the same cutting board was used and just briskly brushed off with a towel. we asked for light amounts of certain things and it also seemed like the purposefully put extra of the mentioned items. the girl actually making our sandwiches clearly didn't know what she was doing. frustrating as well because we both had said we were making them combos and i was stopped and charged for an extra bag of chips that weren't initially rung up. not sure we will be returning to this location unfortunately. read more

So I came into my neighborhood jersey mikes today to grab my family some subs and all I can say is WOW. From the second I walked through those double doors the young employee by the name of Anthony Roesch helped me out with my order and let me tell ya, Anthony is the kinda guy every sub shop needs. This man was so fast paced I had to double check to make sure he wasn't an octopus with multiple hands. He cooked up my 3 subs in a record time of 4.37 minutes. It was incredible. Great Food! Great Place! Great Atmosphere! Great Service! A sub is sandwich made of a long roll typically filled with meat, cheese, and vegetables such as lettuce, tomato, and onions. At Jersey Mikes located in Reston I probably devoured the best sub I ever had in my life! Growing up in Philadelphia I know what a good old fashion cheesesteak is, and when I walked into Jersey Mikes for the first time I was confused with all the numbers and different types of subs they had. Fortunately, a handsome young man by the name Anthony greeted me politely and walked me through the menu with great enthusiasm. I love to see a young adult who works very hard and takes pride in what he does. I ended up ordering the #43 which is the chipotle cheesesteak. Anthony then preceeded to make my sub, he seemed like a very efficient and smart worker. As I mentioned before I was borned and raised in Philly, and this cheesesteak easily competes with the ones at the most famous spots in Philly. The way the cheese was perfectly melted with the meat smothered in chipotle mayo made my taste buds feel like the were being reborn. After that experience I wasn't sure if it was Anthony's great grilling or just the food in general, but man it was good. I ended up dining in the Jersey Mike store and I was quite surprised with the staff there. Hunter Woods is not the nicest neighboorhood around the block and I was surprised to see how hardworking the crew was. Wiping down tables and sweeping the floor to make sure that the restaurant as a whole was clean. Remember what I said about great atmosphere? I purchased a regular combo as well and the diet pepsi was not working correctly. No big deal I thought, but Anthony was restocking straws and saw that it was not working and immediately fixed the nozzle. Talk about a great worker! In conclusion, my experience at Jersey Mikes was awesome and I expect to be back there very soon. The service is great, the food is great, and the atmosphere is great! read more

I went there yesterday while the Redskins game was on. During this visit the two guys working the counter were non responsive and were too busy watching the game than helping me. Both were rude during my order and even after I had paid while I waited for my subs. To me this was the worst service experience at Jersey Mike's. I sent an email to their cooperate office and no response. So obviously customer service is not as important as the redskins going into overtime. I am really glad that even the corporate offices do not care how their employees treat their customers. Terrible. read more

This is my new go-to place for Italians and steak-n-cheese. I've been here at least 5 times since it opened. Quality is consistent, service is good and the price reasonable. I also like the reward points. The bread works well for the Italian. But for a steak-n-cheese the bread, though decent, comes up a bit short. Toasting it would not matter. But it seems no matter where I go, bread is the critical yet overlooked ingredient for steak-n-cheese. Even so I'll keep going back. Update... I am adding an extra star. I keep eating here. I changed my mind after it was just about done and asked if I could get bacon and pepper rings on it too, the manager said no problem but instead of opening up the sand which, he just made me a whole new one.
