Ordered the brisket grilled cheese and ended up with a plain grilled cheese with absolutely no flavor. Had a slice of cake to have a little flavor, but the cake was overly sweet. My friend had banana pudding and it was nowhere near homemade. Not worth the money. The bathroom was not very clean, no soap, so how are these employees washing their hands. Just glad I had something with me to wash up. I wish I saw this before eating, as I would have walked out. As we were eating, the employee came by clearing the tables and pushing in chairs, but never wiped the tables. Trying to figure out how this place gets rave reviews.

The restaurant was clean, the menu had a decent variety of sandwiches and soups, and food was good. My only critique is that the prices seemed a little high for what you get. A whole sub combo meal was just over $20. I appreciate quality food and have no issue with it, but I know a few other deli places that serve a larger sub for less money. Still, I will keep Eastbrook Deli in my rotation for lunch spots.

It defies all logic of concept. It's not a restaurant, but it is. It's not a grocery store, but is.... It's not a liquor store, but... It's such an interesting evolution of business man. You could never just start something like this. It's just been percolating for a good while and just evolving along the way. They now are in the whole building they lease as the concept has grown. I love to see a family business evolve and grow! It's call Derk's Filet and Vine. I was thinking steakhouse when I heard we were going here. It is a butcher shop (slash) wine and beer store (slash) grocery store (slash) caterer (slash) that happens to also sell a wildly popular Meat and Three Caferteria Style lunch that lines up people sometimes in the hundreds.
