Nice deli downtown with delicious options for both hot and cold sandwiches and some great side dish options. The staff is very nice and knowledgeable of all their options. Nice dining-in area with view of the street. Street parking available just outside.

Menu outside. Hand held menus inside and available by q-code

Great find! Rather quaint interior - comfy, cozy. Helpful, courteous staff. Delicious custom made sandwiches with fresh ingredients....and reasonably priced! BLT was excellent ...& made with perfectly ripe local (Mrs Adams ?) tomatoes. Downtown Reuben was toasted to perfection but pressed a too hard in the Panini. Plenty of meat & cheese but I would have liked a bit more sauerkraut. Potato salad was solid. Corn salad was a bit of a let down. Certainly had plenty of corn but dressing with cheese in it was overpowering. My take would have been just drizzled with seasoned EVOO. (Let the corn shine.) Desserts (not house made) - Key Lime Pie and Tollhouse Pie were ok but wouldn't order again.

Not all chicken salad is created equal... AMAZING sandwich! Coosa Chicken Salad Sandwich House chicken salad is curry based and served with golden raisins and provolone cheese with bread or bed of lettuce.

Good food, Great friendly service, very clean cozy, and quiet place to eat lunch. Unfortunately, I didn't eat there. I decided to take my food to the hotel room.

Cute place, desserts at the order window. Note the copper floor.

Down on the corner by the bridge, this little spot is worth visiting. The decor and the story that's told on the little table tents is pretty cool. The floor and countertops covered with pennies is neat too. But the sandwiches????? They are what you'll come back for! Husband and I had a Close Talker (brisket, cheese, spicy horseradish, banana peppers and onIII s) and a Reuben and both was fabulous! I'd put the Close Talker on par with any sandwich I've had in the last 10yrs. For sides we got the tater salad (hubs said it was pretty good) and chips - you pick the bag you want and there was a variety. I went with chips because there were a few different kind of Zapp's and I love Zapp's. Two sandwiches, sides and drinks added up to about $28. There were homemade desserts that looked delicious but we didn't get any. Only negative was how small the place is, there was a fussy baby and everyone heard it. Acoustic quality definitely not a consideration.

Not so melted cheese on a cheesesteak....

I have eaten here in the past and it was delicious! The most recent visit left a lot to be desired. I had raved about this spot to my husband and we finally were able to make it in for lunch but Copper House has dulled a bit. Service was extremely slow...about 15-20 minutes for two sandwiches. I ordered the cheesesteak which was amazing the time before...this time, the cheese was not melted, very few banana peppers and was just lacking that oomph that I know this place can churn out. The microwave was beeping throughout our visit...could be why the cheese was no bueno...the kids working at the counter need some additional training - don't touch your hair and then the food... I understand times are tough with food costs and labor but the microwave has no place melting your cheese....

This is a cute little deli that needs some work to hammer out the kinks. Our meal was $22 for 2 sandwiches and a bottle of water (no sides). My Cuban sandwich had so much mustard on it that the other ingredients were imperceptible aside from their textures, so I didn't finish the whole thing, and also a Cuban shouldn't be served on a ciabatta roll. The filling of pork and ham were room temperature at best; the pickles were all bunched in the middle, not spread out evenly. My wife's Philly cheestesteak didn't even have melted cheese, a key component to them. The young man behind the counter spent more time flipping his hair out of his face than he did on making our food, which took about 20 minutes. Family and friends have been raving about this place since we first visited Wetumpka, but today they were severely off the mark.

An awesome idea!!!! I think so!

The food, the service and the ambiance were outstanding. The bridge Street BLT is outstanding. Not to mention the strawberry cheesecake is just super creamy and has a right amount of strawberry flavor and strawberry puree mixed in. Really enjoyed the location right on the corner coming off the bridge in Wetumpka. The staff was super friendly and very nice. You couldn't ask for a better group of people for a first-timer coming in for lunch. Their menu is awesome and super simple, but the best thing is the picture I added where you can choose to pay for a lunch for someone in the future. And it's very easy to get done to help out someone that needs food and is unable to pay for it. I wish more restaurants would do something like this.

This is such a cute place! I was in the area for work for several days and kept coming back here. The sandwiches were absolutely delicious along with the sides. Out of all the things I tried the Brisket Grilled Cheese was my favorite. I love how they kept a lot of the original decor and just modernized some of the things. I can't wait to visit again!

I originally stopped in just to take a peak at this restaurant's copper penny floor. After more walking and checking out Wetumpka I decide to stop in and try their homemade vegan chocolate chip cookie dough to eat on the ride to our next stop in Birmingham. It was actually quite good, too. I was pleasantly surprised. I thought it would be to plain sugary, but it wasn't at all. If I had the recipe, I'd definitely make it for special occasions. This sandwich deli is smack in the old downtown on Wetumpka and very much fits in the the surrounding vibes. If I ever am passing thru in the future, I'd love to try one of their sammies.

Great deli with fresh sandwiches and sides. Service can be a bit slow at busier times such as lunch, but the wait has been worth it.
