And it hasn't changed a bit, thank goodness! I had an original turkey Mike's way. It comes with provolone, and Mike's' way is with lettuce, tomato, oil, vinegar mixed with seasoning. I experienced Jersey Mike's for the first-time last weekend on a visit to the Chicago area. My friends recommended this place for lunch, and we ordered subs for pickup. It was also suggested I try "The Original Italian" as one individual stated he hasn't found an Italian sub this good since he left the Jersey Shore. He said, "Get the No. 13!" I did and loved it! So, when I returned to Orlando, I decided to try the Jersey Mike's close to me in the SoDo area. I was impressed with the cleanliness and the enthusiasm of the staff. I ordered "The Original Italian" again and went with the "mini" (which is a misnomer as it was packed with meats, veggies and other toppings). It consisted of ham, prosciuttini, cappacuolo, salami, pepperoni and provolone. I added lettuce, tomato, pickles and sweet peppers on rosemary parm bread. It was FANTASTIC and just as good as the sub in Chicago. I think what makes this sandwich a truly memorable Italian sub experience is the "juice", which consists of a red wine vinegar and olive oil blend. I am sold on the No. 13! Now, I can see why so many people rave about these subs. I have officially joined the club!! read more

This particular location of Jersey Mike's is in a shopping plaza that has several other dining options and is close to the Publix supermarket. Since it is in a shopping plaza, parking was not really an issue. The staff were friendly and professional and I am a fan of Jersey Mike's. My go-to subs at Jersey Mike's are the Italian for a cold sub and the Big Kahuna for a hot sub. In case you do not know what the Big Kahuna is, it is one of their cheesesteak options. I would definitely recommend either one of these subs and I do not think that most would be disappointed with either sub. I have had most of their subs and I have enjoyed all of them. A few others in particular that I liked are the club, the roast beef and cheese, and the turkey and cheese. If you are looking for a solid sub in this area, I would definitely recommend this Jersey Mike's. Go check them out. read more

I have been to several Jersey Mike's over several years but this has got to be the most inefficiently run location. Waited about an hour for my sub. Ordered online at 11:30am said it would be ready for pick up by noon I arrive before pick up time and there wasnt anyone in line at all this place was completely empty so I figured they were making my sub. Then I saw 3 people walk through the door, then 3 more, next thing +10 people are in line they got busy pretty fast. I sat there and watched person after person just walk in get their sub made right away while at this point I arrived way before they did and yet here I am still waiting. Eventually I told them I have been waiting for my sub for quite a while and they eventually made it but acted all dramatic about it then everyone in line looks at me like I am crazy like I am getting in front of them. But if I never brought it to their attention they would have never made my sub it would be 1:00pm before I got my sub that was ordered at 11:30am thats like an hour and a half to make a sandwich. I have never had to wait that long for a jersey mike sub ever. I thought all the locations would be consistently the same but boy was I wrong. This fast food sub place took longer than a sit down restaurant to make my sub. Never coming here again when there are so many other nearby choices much quicker. read more

I was excited when ''tis opened which is much closer to my house. From day one there was a line out the door. Granted, when Covid took over, I haven't been back in awhile. Today, I was starving and it just popped into my head. I've never had a bad experience here, everyone is always extremely friendly and I always feel welcomed. When i walked in there was only two of us and when I sat down to eat, there was already seven more, and it wasn't a common lunch time. The location is in a prime area so it does get busy. Fortunately, you won't have to wait too long because they are really organized: Protein Slicer, Hot Sub Maker, Detailer, and Cashier = Runs like a charm. I know I'll get some hate for this, but I think "pub subs" are overrated/average at best and only having that as an option has been a let down. It seemed like this Jersey Mikes took forever to open (probably just my impatience to be fair) but I'm so glad I can enjoy a tasty sub durIng my lunch break. I normally order the turkey and provolone (minus the cheese) or tuna. Their tuna is good, but the turkey is definitely the best. They freshly slice the turkey to order. They don't have a ton of condiments/add ons but you don't need much. It's simple but good. If you haven't stopped by Jersey Mikes yet, I highly recommend giving them a try. I am really happy to have one on our side of town! I love their Philly cheesesteak sub with extra onions and peppers. They make their meat to order And love their meats and cheeses to order. You don't get that in sandwich joints. The location is so clean and the staff were really great! No one waited long and there was a rotation of customers in and out quickly. I am super excited to have this location so close to home and work. This is my favorite sub place but it wasn't convenient for us. I love they have Parmesan cheese and rosemary breAd. They are all fresh baked but I hold to my tried and true with the cheese bread. I will say the giant is huge so I get that for two or for two meals. I don't review very often anymore but since I got my sandwich for FREE I figured it was the least I could do. It was pretty busy when I arrived but the line moved quickly and the staff was friendly. Meat is sliced to order which is nice. I got my sandwich the "Jersey Way" with the addition of mayo and it was delicious and huge. The regular is enough for two meals for me. I like that they have an option for a mini. Staff was cool about me using my coupon and even smiled when I asked to confirm it was actually free. I received a coupon in the mail and it was for this location. The staff was amazing! I went during lunch time and it was pretty busy but the women who cashed me out was absolutely amazing . She was very kind made sure everything with my meal was correct and gave my 3 year old a lot of attention. The food might be good but the service is terribly rude and nobody wears a name tag so you cannot complain about the person individually. After seeing the price of the regular I was expecting at least a 8 inch sub but 5 inches is all you get for $10 here with no drink or sides. And they asked for my name and after making me repeat it 10x they just yell sir sir sir when my sandwich was ready. Tbh I'll give Charlie's and Wawa my business for now on. 1st time at a Jersey Mike's. Both husband and I shocked at their prices gouging customers as if to instill the more one pays, the better the food will be. The foot long Mikes Famous Philly steak is $17! (no mushrooms, only white cheese not swiss and some onions, peppers is $16.95 + tax and that is just the sub only!) Who prices this stuff ? as it should be no more than $12.95 tops!) It wasn't even filling and very bland without swiss and mushrooms. THAT EQUALS 2 BLAND subs IS CLOSE TO $40 dollars AND NO CHIPS, DRINKS INCLUDED! One can go to a sit down restraurant and order an entree with veg, potatoes and chicken for 2 for $40. Its just some shaved beef, onions and 1/8 of a green pepper with some white cheese one can make on a griddle for $15 and have 4 of them. Talk about gouging consumers by outrageous mark ups. No wonder inflation and families can no longer afford food. (the bread was good, but not anything that special) and they don't even offer au jus with it) Sorry but we'll stick with other sub shops! read more

Living up north I would consider my self a sub snob. I have tried all subs including the chains and mamma and paps shops. I can say Jersey Mikes is the most consistent quality , great tasting sub south of the Mississippi. I usually go to the Winter Park location as they are great but this location is more convenient for me. The staff has been super friendly and the subs are on point!!
