I also ordered salt and vinegar chips to go with it, but I guess that's too hard to read too. You're paying for food that you won't get. Awful service and cleanliness subpar. The person making sandwiches so rang sales and continuinued making sandwiches without changing gloves. We ordered cheese steak and they mixed up the order and gave us a chicken cheese steak. We had to wait another 25 minutes for them to get it right. I asked to speak with a manager and the young man said he was the assistant in a flippant reply and said we are short staffed as if it's an excuse for poor service, putting the lack of services on the customer. I'm a Jersey native and grew up in Jersey Mike's, but this VA shop doesn't come close to the service, quality or cleanliness I'm accustomed to. The board of health should pay a visit. Just drive over to Ashbrook Commons location. I do not know what the problem is with this location but efficiency is not part of their equation. 30-40 minute wait no matter the length of the line. They never have green peppers for a veggie sub. This past time there was no white bread. Their staff are quite pleasant but just go ahead and drive to Ashbrook Commons you will get your order faster. read more

I've been craving a jersey mikes sub for a few days. Decided to treat myself after a long work day. I've been to this location many times over the years. Today unfortunately wasn't the best experience. I order on the app - chipotle steak and cheese. Add lettuce. Not only was there no lettuce, way too many peppers and onions. I could not believe what happened when I ordered gluten-free sub. I've been to several other Jersey Mike's in their fabulous and how they handle it. In this case the lady had no clue how to handle it, got the gluten-free roll cut it in half laid it in and on where all the other bread was cut and pushed it over to the meat cutter packed it up passed it again over to where they put all the condiments on and laid it in an area where all the other bread was. The cross contamination was obvious. No clue. She did not even care. All the other ones I have been to are very good at how they handle it. The people in that store need to be retrained and advise that when somebody says they're gluten-free they need to ask if they have celiacs. It doesn't matter if somebody has to ask for gluten-free it should be treated that way. Not going back to that store again and I go to Jersey Mike's all the time everybody should avoid it if you have celiacs. read more

Terrible service. Subs are fine. Don't bother ordering online for pick up or delivery - you'll wait 4x as long.

Today we ordered 4 subs to be delivered through the Jersey Mike's App. The sealed bag was delivered with only 3 subs. When I called the store to let them know the store employee told me yes the sub was still at Jersey Mike's they forgot to put it in the bag. They then said they had no way to deliver it so I either needed to come get it or they would refund the sandwich and I could reorder and pay the Jersey Mike's App delivery fee. This is very disappointing. I now have a family member without dinner and either have to drive across town to pick up the sub or reorder the missing sub and pay the delivery fee again. If the store leaves something out of an order the store should be responsible for delivering the missing item. The Jersey Mike's contracted delivery service is not supposed to open sealed bags and check for missing food items. I have let missing chips go in the past without calling the store or writing a review but an entire sub is something completely different. read more

Spent more than 20 minutes in the order line. With nobody ahead of us. Three people behind the counter. Repeated orders several times. One order made incorrectly. When confronted, employee scoffed. To top it all off the shift supervisor obviously appeared to be completely stoned. After all that, the incorrect sandwich was never made. I've been going to this spot since it opened almost 10 years or so ago. I visit often. I've had my fair share of bad experiences here but it's very close to the house and the food is great when my order isn't messed up. A while back ( about 3 weeks ago ) I went to the Jersey Mike's and ordered two giant subs. The young man taking the order seemed to be in a rush and hardly paid attention to what I was ordering. He proceeded to make the wrong size sandwich. When I told him I ordered a giant he took the sandwich he was working on and threw it across the room right past a girl who was working by the cash register. Then he grabbed a sub roll and cut it , but messed up by cutting it short. He again threw the sub roll, this time at the wall behind him. I asked him if he wanted to make it right or not. He did not reply, but kept giving me a terrible look. He eventually made the two giant subs and sent them down the line for the girl to add the condiments. She looked upset as she knew it was a mess. Luckily I had the ingredients written down for her. The young man should be trying out for pitcher of a baseball team instead of throwing subs. We came to Jersey Mike's at 2 o'clock on Tuesday December 31st, there were 4 or 5 people ahead of us in line. Around 2:10 my husband ordered a number 7 and number 17 medium. My sub came out immediately, but his took another 25 minutes later. Everyone else who was in before us and some people who came in and several who came in after got their subs ahead of his. We asked several times for his sub was and they said they were cooking it in order. This is the worst service I've ever seen in any fast food establishment. Terrible experience today. The meat slicer employee had an attitude and seemed intoxicated or on something. Bobbing around, wouldn't look you in the eye and mumbled everything he said Ike he did not want to be there. In addition the portion sizes for the first sub were great but the following two subs we decided to not get due to very minimal portion sizes (5 pieces of cheese but only two thin slices of roast beef on the number 9 stating we would have an up charge for more meat), yet the Italian sub he loaded it up with plenty of meats and cheese. Also the veggies/toppings were old and do to the temperature of the store being hot there is no way they met temperature (41 degrees or below.) the lettuce was brown and the onions were extremely wilted. Then when I asked for the food safety manager they said he was not there and there was no manager to talk to. I went back in to try and get the managers number and the man behind the counter was very helpful however the meet slicer spoke up and tried to tell me that the portions were correct again and that if I want more it would be extra even though every other jersey mikes location I go to I get at least twice what he put on my sandwich, at least 4 sliced of roast beef not 2 thin slices. Overall very bad experience and can't say we will ever be back nor recommend that location to others in the future. We really love jersey mikes, but this experience has left me thinking that subway is the better option based on friendliness of staff, portion sizes and pricing. read more

The manager with the dreadlocks here needs to be retrained. He is completely disrespectful to his employees and customers. His tone is so arrogant and condescending. He truly seems to hate his job, yet begrudgingly shows up daily and takes it out on others.
