No greeting / no words. Just a guy who spends an odd amount of time in the bathroom slowly rebooting into work mode. My order is simple. "Cheesy bacon burger - just the sandwich / no drink). Guy keeps looking over his shoulder at the menu sign. He's confused by something. I've seen this guy for years - he's not new. I have no idea what was confusing him. I ordered one item - an item featured prominently on the signage. He kept looking up at the sign - I told him, "never mind." Folks - the Leesburg Wendy's is a complete and total joke. We normally go to this Wendy's because my daughter enjoys the food and it is the closest to our house. However it has gotten pretty bad and we will probably drive the extra 15 minutes to another one. Today I stood at the counter for a few minutes before someone came to take my order. I have my order and paid. The lady behind me was from the drive thru, she came in because she was missing an entire meal from her order. When my order was up it was missing the drink and frosty that was ordered. I have been to my share of bad fast food restaurants. This Wendy's is by a large margin the worst. I placed a mobile order to eat in, and then walked into an empty restaurant and ten minutes of pure chaos. It looked to me that a family was handling things behind the counter. As I stood there no one acknowledged me. I stood there watching them handling drive through orders (again, no one in the restaurant placing an order). Completely unorganized, no one in charge, they would put fries in a bag and then let it sit there for five minutes before adding another item. That bag turned out to be my order. I looked in the bag and it was clear not everything was there. Asked for a refund and vowed to myself never to go back. The man working on the drive thru was incompetent, knew a lack English and overcharged my friends order for no reason when she simply asked for a meal, an extra 10pc nuggets and a chocolate frosty, which she never got. I work next to this place and really thought the few times I went was just.. you know a bad day? The first time, something was legitimately on fire in their parking lot (assuming a ciagrette) and the male employee I spoke to went out to take care of it, but didnt really say anything? Like small talk, thanks, have a good day, etc. Wasnt existant. Fast forward to today, I got greeted by an "ohhh boy." On the loud speaker when pulling up to order, they're busy today so I tossed it aside. Tried to place an order on their app. The store was closed so I checked off ASAP ... as in as soon as possible, 9am. When I submitted they charged my credit card for the order and told me to reorder selecting the drive through. Now I have to call the credit card company and dispute. I placed the drive through order. The food was not ready so I had to wait. After 15 minutes, I went to the door ... still locked at 9:12 and he brought me the food telling me he checked 3 times. I showed him my car and he said he did not see it. I guess it was invisible at the time. Asked to see the manager ... he was the manager. Ordered a chicken and a sausage breakfast sandwich. Yelpers: Went thru the drive thru to grab a late lunch today. Though the staff was pleasant and made a fuss in the kitchen that they were making the sandwich custom to the requested order, they did as they pleased. They ignored the request, put items not only not desired on the hamburger but that caused the sodium content to peak for a person that specifically ordered no salt on the burger. They added 3 pickles (hello soaked in brine - salt), there were 2 slices of cheese (flavored fatty salt) & the no salt French fries were heavily salted (like a salt lick for animals). Salt is a migraine trigger for me and when I got home is when I realized I had an inedible meal. What's worse is they didn't provide the receipt so I had no proof I even had purchased food from them to go back to complain. I was very upset. Wendy's Mgmt: People order not necessarily because they want hot fries but for significant health reasons, Wendy's! How about taking customer requests seriously? Provide a receipt so we can call HQ to discuss quality & have an order # from the transaction. This has to be the worst fast food joint in Leesburg. Tried to order breakfast on their website which kept crashing causing me to resubmit my order three times. Finally took the order used my rewards points and charged me for the items. When I complained to the store manager he said he has no control over reward points and to contact Wendy's. Wendy's conveniently does not include any contact info because they don't want to deal with the complaints. It's a Wendy's. It's pretty generic and doesn't do anything special/better/worse than other locations. The drive through is quick and polite, and I can actually hear what they ask/say over the speaker - I suppose that's a plus! They've got quite a large inside area, although I don't know that I've ever used it. The parking lot is sort of wonky, and you can almost miss the turn into it if you're not paying attention. read more

Free Frosty with the keychain card. I order food just because a Frosty, by itself, isn't the best lunch choice (like fast food is). Typically, I still to their Value Menu, which I seem to remember being much more of a value 15-20 years ago. It's like nobody wants to feed anybody for 99 cents anymore. I rotate my selection every time that I come. The staple is the 6 piece nugget, paired alternatively with either the Jr Bacon Cheeseburger or the Crispy Chicken Sandwich. I've done the drive-thru and the dining room with a preference for going inside. They are pretty friendly, either way, so no real opinion on this. Only thing: get the Frosty keychain card, it makes Wendy's 500x better. read more
