The staff is always wonderful and it well managed. The place is clean and they are cleaning up tables and sanitizing them down. The soda area can get messy but employees are swift to acknowledge and clean it up. The food is always hot and we have never had something we didn't like from here. The gravy bread is a must if you are getting a salad or soup. Love that they even have pizza. The menu offerings are great and feed even the picky eaters haha! Parking can be tight at this location, but we definitely enough the food here. Will definitely keep visiting.

I have been hating this place for awhile because I kept getting social media adds all the time when…read moreone is no where around me. While in Lake Geneva I searched the area for lunch and there is a restaurant .02 miles from me. The place has a decor with a fun vibe. They even have an ice cream shop in it. The menu is huge compared to the Pottillos Chicago chain. The employees are chick fil a friendly I noticed with every employee I encountered acknowledging me, how one chain set the bar and people notice when it comes from another chain. As a Chicago boy eating Chicago beef all my life I got the authentic beef dipped with hot peppers. Compared to portillos the beef is not as tender and has a sliced pot roast texture. The bread is fresh, chewy and denser and holds up too well because it didn't soggy the bread how I like it. The hot peppers are noticeable hotter with my running nose. Overall the two Chicago chains are doing Chicago beefs slightly different but they are still very good in different ways, Side note Oak Creek WI will get one soon which would be an hour round trip for me so unless I was in Oak Creek I will probably not get to this chain often when Portillos is 10 minutes round trip.

Haven't been to this restaurant in many years. It's been at this location for about 25 years. We…read morehad the Chicago dog with fries and the chili dog with fries. Did Chicago dog was made correctly with the relish, salaries seed, tomato, and sport peppers and a poppyseed bun. It was pretty good. Their hotdog's are average, but it was very good with the toppings. Their fries or a fast food are average, but they were good. The chili dog was also on a poppyseed bun and very tasty. Had a lot of chili on it and the chili actually had beans in it for those who like chili with beans. And it was nice and thick. Pricewise they're not too bad as boat meals with drinks cost about 20 bucks. So $10 a person isn't too bad for a hotdog, fries, and a medium drink. The restaurant was clean and the service was quick. It's in a little shopping center so parking can be a little bit of a challenge as the parking lot not too large.

We haven't been here in several months, and Today was very disappointing! The combo was amazing as usual. The pepper and egg sandwich however was the worst I've ever had! It was a very thin layer of egg with a very thin layer of mozzarella cheese, all bread and peppers and very salty! The sandwich was literally flat when I unwrapped it. They changed the way they do the eggs, they used to scramble them and fill the sandwich with fluffy, scrambled egg and when I ordered mozzarella cheese, always got a decent amount of mozzarella. This time was completely different! I was so looking forward to that sandwich because I hadn't had it in so long. We will go back, I really hope this is not the norm from here on out. If so, I won't be ordering that again unless I can special order it the way they used to make it. Otherwise, the service was good, and my husband was happy!
