Great fast food , something different than the other fast food joints in town. Great hots dogs and hamburgers ,the beef is good and a big menus sure to fit anyone's needs. Overall good food and location. read more

They have really good food and seem to be doing their best they have delivery but the reason why I don't give it five stars is because sometimes they don't always do the order correctly but they seem to be trying their best and I hope they keep growing as a business! read more

Great food, the hotdogs are the best. Gyro dinners is amazing and a nice change from your typical burger Staff is always friendly.

We love Flippy's. I've been coming here since I was a kid, and now it's one of mine and my husband's favorite spots. We are here at least once a month, if not two or three times and if we lived in Burlington it would be much more frequently. They've redone the inside and it looks great. Tons of seating, big nice new menu board too (although I loved the chalkboard menu they had forever because nostalgia). The food is always delicious. It's speedy, but always fresh and delicious. I can't speak to everything on the menu because we get the same thing every time. I can assure you the cheese fries, chicken sandwiches, burgers, and cheese dogs are great though. Its reasonably priced, and the employees are always super kind and helpful. Definitely one of our go-to spots in the area for a good, speedy but sit down meal. read more

Food is delicious; price is reasonable and staff is friendly. Can't believe we haven't found this place until recently. Our daughter is especially thrilled they have poppyseed hot dog buns. This time we got a hot dog, grilled chicken sandwich and gyro. read more

I like the food here but I couldn't help but tell that there was a woman with glasses n the kitchen and she was very disrespectful and it set the mood off for me please have someone talk to her about sharing properly and learning how to be nicer in general, thank you. read more

This place is really good. Not bad prices for $5 for a Chicago dog and a small fries. It doesn't take a while for your food and does not taste like your average fast food. It actually tastes real. read more

dirty inside, food ok, nothing special and extremely rude staff. Dont give this family/business your money. they are extremely rude and don't appreciate their customers. I hope this place goes under. They don't care at all. you can tell by the holes in the table cloths people wrote reviews ab 6 years ago. read more

It's pretty solid overall, but there are better food joints. I've had their burgers and fries, and they're decent. I do come here quite often, and their food is unique in it's own way. The price is pretty reasonable. read more

My wife and I decided to grab something and went to Flippy's. We had never been there in all the time I have been in Burlington (2004). We ordered our meal and sat down. I looked at the reviews on Yelp and it seems people were not happy with the delivery aspect of Flippy's. Since we went in, delivery was not an issue The food was very good and we will definitely back. Great "hot dog and burger" place. It reminds me of my childhood. read more

The food is really good the gentleman I'm not sure if he's the owner but he isn't friendly at all very rude.

Don't bother with Portillo's. Best Italian Beef right here. Online ordering system is a bit touchy, but once order was complete everything was fast and efficient after that. Happy to support local business! read more

This place felt familiar the first time I came. Every time we go it is good. Fresh food, crisp fries, and always surprisingly low prices. The atmosphere is nostalgic to me, thinking of family meals in a cozy diner atmosphere. We like to people watch out onto Pine Street. Friendly workers are accommodating to special orders. read more

I love this place. I go for the hot dog special approximately once a month. The place is always clean inviting, and tasty. The service is fast. My only complaint is one that I have with just about everywhere these days... the price. It's a few dollars too much. And yet I keep going. Support small businesses! read more

We are regulars at Flippy's since recently moving to WI. Every single time we have gone, the food is fresh and delicious, the staff are friendly and the restaurant is clean. We typically get the hot dogs and fries and the fries are always freshly cooked and piping hot and their hot dogs remind us of a good Chicago hot dog (with the steamed poppy seed bun)- yum! What we love too is that we know the food will always be good -they are very consistent with their quality. read more

Have eaten here twice over the past couple weeks. Food is real good. Both times I have gotten the Italian Beef sandwich and fries. Italian Beef is very good. Service has been very good as well. My son and wife also both got the Italian Beef and both really liked it. The only issue I have is they charge $1.00 per soda refill. Just seems to nickel and dime you a bit. I would rather they just increase the price by a little and offer the free refills than charge you $1.00 for every refill. We will definitely be back though. read more

Pretty good! Never been here before. They have alot to choose from. The gyro dinner was huge! Alot of gyro meat (tasty too), small Greek salad, and fries. Definitely worth the money. The service was good and fast!! Will definitely come here again! read more

What I had? American sub (Salami & Ham) with lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, oil, swiss and American cheese Food review: I haven't been to Flippy's in many years so while I was back in my good ole hometown of Burlington, WI, it really sounded good to revisit. I, for the most part, was not disappointed. This sub is the best sub in town by far (which doesn't really take much given that Subway is the only other sub place that I'm aware of here). The combination of all the incredients are might tasty and the only thing that didn't taste the same as what I remember was the bread. I think I remember it being a little "crispier" on the crust but regardless it was still a great sandwich. Simple but tasty! Service? No complaints read more

My sister and I had dinner here last night, excellent food and customer service. Clean dine-in experience, renovated ambiance, and large menu with lots of options. We each had a cold turkey sandwich that came with chips and a pickle. We also shared a cheese dog and cheese fries. My favorite was the cold turkey sandwich, get it! read more

Flippy's Fast Food - Turkey sandwiches, cheese fries, cheese dog, chips, great food! - Fast Food Near Me - Burlington, Wisconsin

Poor customer service. When I instant messaged to complain, (I did not want to post publicly) they were sarcastic, passive aggressive with their answers and proceeded to call me a Karen. To think I have known this place for 20 years and to be treated like that is reprehensible. read more

Got wings and hotdogs. The wings were bad but the dogs were fine All in all.. Wasn't great, wasn't terrible. I probably won't be back read more

Great food , prompt service. Employees were wearing masks and made me feel safe. Thanks Flippy's!

If I could give no stars I would. The food they serve is crap and got me sick from food poisoning. Not cool! And the deliver driver took 1 hour and I'm down the road. read more

We ordered a few items off the menu and the person who seemed to be in charge displayed very poor customer service, it makes you wonder why a person with such poor customer service skill would take a job in the food industry when customer service is perhaps the most important skill of all. read more

Got a craving for a chili dog? Maybe a plate of cheese fries or something greasy and made the old fashioned way? This is the place. Great food, good people, and a fun experience. I have yet to have them mess up my order. My old man and I use to order up our food, stop in, take it home, and have a movie night with food and flavors that really make you happy. This is definitely feel good food, if you have a bad day, or a rough week, order up some flippy's and kick back. They make the day better. read more

Great Food, Good Service. Quality Highly American Chicago style food with a chill atmosphere.

Called with a large work order about an hour and a half before we needed it. Food was hot, service was great and it was delivered EARLY!! They even went above and beyond by putting our orders in separate bags. Big thanks!! read more

Love this place! Whenever were in Burlington we always have to stop for the best turkey sandwich on white in town. Super fresh and awesome pickles to go along. And if you're in the mood to cheesy fries are the bomb as well! read more

Hey, it's okay. I was in town for some business and my work associate and I were craving something fast, greasy, and bad-for-you. Flippy's did not disappoint. I had, as is my wont, the Chicago dogs which I like to use as a type of standard-candle for measuring fast food places. Toppings were correct, dogs were delicious, if a little messy. They have another Chicago staple on the menu, a cheezy beef, which I had my partner try and he reported back that it was pretty delicious. He's from Wisconsin though so I'm not sure if his opinion on Chicago-Style Italian beefs is worth anything. I sure don't trust it, but I don't trust anything from this frigid hell-hole. Service was pretty shitty. The guy at the register I assume was the owner and he was cool but the kid who made the food obviously didn't give a fuck. Toppings were pretty much just tossed onto the hot dogs and beef with no care at all. I don't really blame him, 'cause he's probably making minimum wage but the owner should really make sure things are up to snuff. I don't think Flippy's was anything that incredible but I would go there again. It's a 3-4 star place but since I gave another Chicago hot-dog place three stars last week for a weird Chicago dog I'll go w/ 4 for Flippy's. read more

Straight trash We called for delivery and it was a big order with a tip of 20$ and the dip shit just hangs up and of course I called back and he just let it ring this was at 5pm last night and I call again and he says flippys can u please hold and puts me on hold before I can says yes and we'll hangs up again so I said fuk it and fuk that so called Chicago style slop and I'm from Chicago and that isn't it's finest it's like a cheap knock off to portillos And charges to much for slop, he csn be rude all he wants it's his business but sure did lose 5 customers read more

Tried on multiple occasions BIG disappointment. They do Chicago short order about as good as a blind man coloring in the lines. Won't be back again. read more

Love Flippy's! They have a large menu, and while I always stick to my handful of favorites, I am never disappointed. The chicken and steak tacos are delish, as is the homemade red salsa to complement them. The Friday Fish fry is one of my favorites in town. Love the 1/2# burger - always juicy and well seasoned. The appetizers like fried mushrooms and motz sticks are top notch. The gyros are also yummy. This establishment has been here for almost 30 years (?); Maybe they already hit the 30-year mark? But it's just good, local food served up by a local family, and you can't go wrong with that. read more

It's hit or miss and it missed badly. Very rude owner charged me $2 for delivery which is fine. However when you tell me that giving a driver only 1.50 tip on a $15 order is an insult, well you are insulting for telling someone what to tip. By the way I live less than a mile away which I think $3.50 to drive 2 miles is more than fair. I cancelled my order I decided not to give this guy my money. read more

I called to place an order for delivery and was told that my tip was not sufficient for what i ordered. The overall demeanor of the owner on the phone was very rude and caused me to cancel the order. He said "really that's all your going to give them?! that's all they make." I didn't know that you could employ people without paying them... Most delivery drivers make 8 - 10 bucks an hour. Even servers make 2.33 plus tips. I tip 15-20% at restaurants and 10% to delivery drivers maybe that's cheap, idk, but the way I was treated I will never forget. read more

Person answering the phones was rude and my cold cheeseburger and fries somehow took 2 hours to drive down the road.

Stopped in for lunch. We had hot dogs, beefs and gyros. Food was ok. Hot dog is not a true Chicago style dog. No poppyseed bun, or celery salt. Plus bun was cold. Not sure if we would return. People were very friendly . read more
