Visited on a Sunday for lunch. Place was practically empty. Restaurant could use updating and renovating. Most orders were take out. Staff friendly but not attentive even though it was not busy. Everyday food. Nothing fancy. My mini-Tacos were not what I expected for "Tacos." Salty with the tortilla hard and chewy. No complaints from the other menu items ordered. Satisfied my family's hunger from walking around Lake Geneva.

Not a bad experience, just not very impressed. The food was standard diner food but we didn't really love it. Service was a little slow. We know it was busy, but it was just a lack luster experience. For all the cute shops and other breakfast options on the downtown strip, it's not really worth it. Especially for the price. The biggest selling point is the hours! Breakfast/lunch/dinner any time.

Whenever I am in Lake Geneva, I always like to stop in to the Olympic for either breakfast or lunch. A simple "family run" restaurant, with plenty of home cooking and friendly hospitality. Their menu has something for everyone (so much variety). Weekends are there busiest, but it's worth the wait. Plenty of street parking, and very modest prices.

Best breakfast of my life. Kids had delicious pancakes, bacon, hash browns, and we had the chicken fried steak and eggs. Every bite, even the wheat toast, was delicious. And not to mention the peach mimosa! Staff was so kind and attentive. My kids even went to give compliments to the chef.

Not a fancy looking spot but the food was good and the prices was cheap. I've been to lake Geneva a couple of times but never been here. We both had the pancake combo for breakfast which was really good. I wish i could remember our waitress name which was very attentive and nice. If you're in the area a definite breakfast must!

A basic no frills family run breakfast/lunch spot in Downtown Lake Geneva. It's an older establishment for sure, almost feels like you're stepping back to a simpler time. Food was fantastic, that griddle is slinging out great eggs, hash, French toast, all of your standards. And that breakfast sausage is the best I've had. Service can be a little iffy depending on if you get an adult or one of the kids. Most recently, our request for orange juice went unfulfilled, but I'll gladly overlook that to support a mom & pop establishment.

I found myself in Lake Geneva, WI this week, as typical a tourist spot as any. Feeling a might peckish, I was scoping out restaurants by how much I liked their exterior vintage neons, and opted for the Olympic, right downtown, a couple blocks from the lake. It's an old-timey coffee shop format, serving all three meals, with booths and tables. It's also crowded, not with people, but with 'stuff,' and you'll have to negotiate a path to the washrooms, for instance. They have a HUGE menu, with enough variety to easily please any diner, and simultaneously overwhelm any kitchen. In other words, the menu is so long that most places are going to have to look for short cuts, and in the case of my selection, the "Meat Lovers Burger," it meant going with food service ingredients instead of fresh, prepared, in-house grub. Yeah, I know, it's a coffee shop. The burger came with fries (which were OK), and was around $10.50, adding cheese would slap on a buck. Didn't eat much of it, didn't take it to go, either. Service was "OK," there was one young woman for the entire dining room when I arrived, and she seemed a little harried. Ambiance was typical of this kind of joint. Bathrooms are fairly clean. Maybe I made a bad choice, maybe the kitchen was having an off day, but they weren't very busy. There are sooooooooooooooo many options in Lake Geneva, for dining at all ends of the price spectrum. This is probably one you can skip. I rarely read other reviews, but I checked a few as I was writing this, and some make reference to it's an excellent place to eat when you're drunk. I'll keep that in mind.

Mediocre food at best. No thanks. Greasy spoon. Wasn't impressed with food nor the short handed staff.

Breakfast is really good, nice staff, and it gives a little old diner vibe, cream of broccoli soup is my favorite one that they have there.

He researched for awhile and finally came upon this place thinking I would like it. We had 5 p.m. reservations on 12/1/24. This restaurant is inside The Geneva Inn hotel. It was beautifully decorated outside for Christmas. Walk inside and I just loved the intimate setting. We were one of the first to be seated and they placed us by the window. There was a card for me on the table wishing me a Happy Birthday which made me feel special. The sun was setting so we quickly got a chance to see the beauty by the lake before it got dark. Bridget was our waitress and I just loved her. She was attentive, funny and a wonderful server. It was nice and quiet setting inside the dimly lit restaurant. They brought warm rolls to the table - delicious! I ordered some soup of the day because it was so cold outside. I then had the steak served Oscar style which consists of crab meat, and a rich béarnaise sauce (which I had them put on the side). They gave so much crab meat which paired lovely with the steak. Simply delicious! Hubby had the Shrimp & Mediterranean Panzanella which he enjoyed. Highly recommend this restaurant. We definitely want to come back when the weather is warm to watch the sun set and possibly do the outdoor seating. We really enjoyed ourselves here and thank the restaurant for such a wonderful dining experience. Two thumbs up and an A+ rating!

Boats pulled up to the dock and people joined in the fun from there too. We happened to come in during the Bash on the Bayou event which indicated a seafood boil and live music. Unfortunately, we could not find any indication of the time of the event so when we arrived at 6:30 and asked, they indicated it ended at 7pm so we could not partake. The price for that was $45 per person, fyi. So we ordered from the menu. The Italian Porkchops were dry (overcooked) and not the most enjoyable flavor. The Walleye was a bit dry but good enough and the mashed potatoes were good. The "caprese salad" was just meh. The drink (the Pink Pig Punch) was good albeit a little sweet. In fact, if you don't normally like whisky, this might actually work for you. The staff was friendly and attentive, even with how busy it was. There were a few inebriated folks that nearly fell down the stair or spilled drinks if that gives any indication of the 'fun' being had ;) There is indoor and outdoor seating and the place has a fun vibe. But the food was mediocre, especially for the prices. Go for the fun and drinks but maybe skip the pricey meals.
