We were staying at the grand Geneva resort for the weekend and decided to eat in town. I made reservations and included a note that dinner was for a birthday celebration. The restaurant is on the smaller side, so reservations are helpful. There is a back portion with another bar and more tables though. Everyone working was friendly and helpful. The menu has plenty of options. I was torn between ramen, noodles, or hibachi, but ultimately went with hibachi. The steak and scallops were decent portions and fresh. We started with the gyoza and shumai. Both delicious, with the shumai being the best I have ever had! My birthday was not acknowledged unfortunately, but we still got dessert. Our server recommended the apple dumpling with green tea ice cream. Wow. Wish we got two of those! They don't have milk for kids and the soft drinks are cans so no refills. It's a cozy spot and is an excellent choice while downtown Lake Geneva.

Comfortable & Calm I enjoyed the food and the service was good. The waitress and the hostess were both nice, the food was good (I ordered vegetable Pho), and all food/drinks quickly delivered to the table. The restaurant is directly on the corner of the Main Street (building painted black) in what looks like a former dinner space. There is plenty of parking on the road (in front and along the side of the building) to include lots of parking lot parking behind the restaurant. Most of the parking If not all of it is paid so make sure you are looking at the signs and parking spaces. This place was very popular, small groups, and families were eating, and the options for seating was normal (small tables for two or four with easy access to push together if needed, bar top, and window seats). There were even a handful of small tables against the front windows. They have a large menu and offer to go boxes/bags if needed. I'd come back for sure!

Took our family here a few months after my first review and they all loved it! This time we got to sample even more of the menu. Collectively we got the chicken & shrimp hibachi, chicken teriyaki, Tantanmen & Tonkatsu ramen, and yakisoba chicken. My grandma doesn't usually love Asian food but she said "this is one of the best Asian meals I've ever had!" Service was pretty slow (I think it was one chef who was working very hard) but once it came the flavors were all delicious! Not one bad one of the bunch, but we think the yakisoba might have been the table favorite.

Ramen, both dudes in the group said was great.

My 9 year old son cannot get enough of this restaurant. They have his favorite matcha ice cream, and the best shrimp tempura, he said. It's a smaller restaurant but it's cute and clean. The service is wonderful. I had a to go order, and the man working helped me take it to my car. The ramen is good, and my favorite was the chicken teriyaki.

We walked in on a Saturday afternoon they open at 12:00 noon. We had the establishment to ourselves. Baicha. One of the three young female owners waited on us. Personality bright smiles energetic, full of enthusiasm greeted us. We started with the stuffed avocados. Absolutely, amazingly, delicious! Nice spicy kick to them. Next we tried the Yaki Udon Chicken and the Saucy Lava Chicken. Both of these entrées. Perfectly balanced flavorful, presentation absolutely enticing. Serving size bountiful. Atmosphere and hospitality first rate. Definitely five stars . Yes I am fully aware that when you visit Lake Geneva WI. There are a lot of options for your dining. My suggestion to anyone looking to enjoy an over-the-top flavorful meal a short distance off the main downtown drag. Take a break from the hustle and bustle of the crowds, sit down, relax, and enjoy a delicious meal made with fresh vegetables bursting with delicious flavor. Stop in and enjoy your taste buds will thank you. Bon appétit. PS: make sure you save some room for the Matcha ice cream a perfect simple snack to complement your meal!

I should've known it was a bad sign when I walked in and was seated next to a table who got up and left before ordering. Nonetheless, we wanted to give them a fair chance, so we decided to take our chances. My mom and I each ordered a ramen with no substitutions. We were excited to try this welcome addition to Lake Geneva. Our stomachs started to grumble as everyone around us was served. We checked our watch and realized we had been waiting 45 minutes for our ramen. We spoke to the waitress who said there were large parties in front of us and ours was not ready yet. We decided to walk across the street to Tuscan where we were warmly welcomed. 45+ minutes is a steep wait time for a bowl of ramen.

I would give the food a 3 star, but with service I'm adding one more. I called ahead to make sure they can accommodate food allergy and they were very patient in answering all my questions and make me comfortable coming here. Cheese curds and fried calamari are great. Crispy shell with soft and tender inside. Half rib and half chicken (the dark meat) are so juicy and tender. The white meat part was dry. Ribs are in good quality - lots of meat lol The homemade sauce is tasty - sweet, sour and spicy. However, having the same sauce on both ribs and chicken was a little too much. Overall, food and service here are excellent!

Really excellent food. I highly recommend the coconut shrimp, robata chicken, saucy lava tofu, and hibachi shrimp. The sake-tini was also great.

What a disappointing experience! We were so excited to try the new restaurant with 4.4 stars rating in Lake Geneva especially reading very promising descriptions of the dishes online. I don't even know where to start. It is pretty sad when the best part of your dinner was coming out of the bottle sake. The Bang Bang Shrimps were over-breaded and tasted like old oil. Osaka Wings were over-breaded as well and tasted worse than from the chain restaurants. We were all excited to try so deliciously described ribs supposedly cooked in a very special sauce. What a failure! Boiled a day before, overcooked, without any flavor whatsoever. The mashed potatoes served with the ribs were out of the box, we were charged $6 for grilled asparagus which was not cleaned and therefore half of that was not eatable and $1 for a tiny splash of "house sauce" to make ribs more bearable . I gave 2 stars because the servers were nice but I will not come back. I do not recommend!

Found this cute restaurant when we're staying in Lake Geneva. We were a bit confused when we saw the menu because of their variety of options, but we gave it a shot. This place did not disappoint. The food was delicious, the service was good, and even the drinks were so yummy! Next time we are in town we will definitely be coming back!

Zaab has the best grilled meat and best veggies in the area. They have Hibatchi, grilled steaks, seafood and even ribs, wings and cheese curds. I'm never disappointed with my meal here.

I would have eaten here a second time on Sunday afternoon, but I got a $30 ticket after parking in what I thought was a free parking lot behind the adjoining businesses on the Main Street. I ended up stopping by Culver's on the way home to make up for the $30 charged by the greedy city of Lake Geneva. If the business owner reads this, please help do something about the outrageous parking fees in your city. Maybe a warning would have been nice instead of a ticket, or free parking during winter months on a Sunday. It cost you $60-70 in business this time, and has me looking elsewhere for our next weekend trip.

I didn't know you could group up and reserve seats at the bar before your party is there. My bad. Now I know. I should have made reservations... for the bar stool... I thought I was becoming a regular. I'll have to seriously think again. That really felt pretty weak. Super disappointing.

Popeye's is a large restaurant right near the lake with plenty of seating. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating options. We were able to walk in and get a table for 4, but it does get busy and there could be a wait. Service was great. Our server did an excellent job checking in on us and refilling our drinks. The food came out very quickly as well. Their menu is huge and there is definitely something for everyone. Featuring plenty of seafood options, steak, chicken, pub fare, and more, it is hard to choose just one entree! We ended up opting to split a couple starters, which was perfect. Being in Wisconsin, of course we had to order their Premium Fried Cheese Curds. We also ordered the Nachos Supreme (chicken on the side) and the Milwaukee Pretzel Bites. All the food arrived within 10 minutes of ordering, the cheese curds being first. We got a pound, which was plenty for the four of us the share. The cheese curds are heavenly and the cheese is of great quality. It is true, Wisconsin cheese curds stand above all others! The homemade buttermilk ranch dressing it was served with was very complementing. The Nachos Supreme were amazing. Featuring pulled rotisserie chicken, tomatoes, green onion, house-shredded cheddar-jack cheese, on freshly made corn tortillas chips, served with house-made salsa. Absolutely loved these and was more than satisfied. These are the perfect bar nachos with ample amounts of high-quality cheese. The chips are really fresh, the chicken wasn't dry, and the salsa was fresh. Another great option and I would highly recommend. The Milwaukee Pretzel Bites are toasted with butter and salt, served with cheese sauce. The pretzels were really soft, salted just right, and paired perfectly with the silky cheese sauce. Another great starter. I will say this one is a smaller portion than the other two starters we ordered, but still a good option. Overall, I was pleased with my experience here. The food is pretty standard bar food. But I really enjoyed everything we ordered and thought it tasted great. The nachos and cheese curds being my favorite. I will say this place is a little pricey, but I think that is standard for anywhere near Lake Geneva. This is a great place to eat at for a fun dinner with friends or family. Would recommend checking it out!
