    Jasmine Tea

Zaab is my go to place whenever I'm in LG visiting my family! Their chicken is the best restaurant chicken I've ever had! I'm iffy about chicken but Zaab has the best chicken. I've had a few of their dishes and they've all been great. Their cheese curds are amazing and their miso soup is rich in flavor. 10/10 recommend! My boyfriend got this jasmine tea and it was so beautiful and delicious. The wait staff is always super friendly and attentive. The ambiance is nice as well!

Comfortable & Calm I enjoyed the food and the service was good. The waitress and the hostess were both nice, the food was good (I ordered vegetable Pho), and all food/drinks quickly delivered to the table. The restaurant is directly on the corner of the Main Street (building painted black) in what looks like a former dinner space. There is plenty of parking on the road (in front and along the side of the building) to include lots of parking lot parking behind the restaurant. Most of the parking If not all of it is paid so make sure you are looking at the signs and parking spaces. This place was very popular, small groups, and families were eating, and the options for seating was normal (small tables for two or four with easy access to push together if needed, bar top, and window seats). There were even a handful of small tables against the front windows. They have a large menu and offer to go boxes/bags if needed. I'd come back for sure!

Took our family here a few months after my first review and they all loved it! This time we got to sample even more of the menu. Collectively we got the chicken & shrimp hibachi, chicken teriyaki, Tantanmen & Tonkatsu ramen, and yakisoba chicken. My grandma doesn't usually love Asian food but she said "this is one of the best Asian meals I've ever had!" Service was pretty slow (I think it was one chef who was working very hard) but once it came the flavors were all delicious! Not one bad one of the bunch, but we think the yakisoba might have been the table favorite.

Ramen, both dudes in the group said was great.

My 9 year old son cannot get enough of this restaurant. They have his favorite matcha ice cream, and the best shrimp tempura, he said. It's a smaller restaurant but it's cute and clean. The service is wonderful. I had a to go order, and the man working helped me take it to my car. The ramen is good, and my favorite was the chicken teriyaki.

We walked in on a Saturday afternoon they open at 12:00 noon. We had the establishment to ourselves. Baicha. One of the three young female owners waited on us. Personality bright smiles energetic, full of enthusiasm greeted us. We started with the stuffed avocados. Absolutely, amazingly, delicious! Nice spicy kick to them. Next we tried the Yaki Udon Chicken and the Saucy Lava Chicken. Both of these entrées. Perfectly balanced flavorful, presentation absolutely enticing. Serving size bountiful. Atmosphere and hospitality first rate. Definitely five stars . Yes I am fully aware that when you visit Lake Geneva WI. There are a lot of options for your dining. My suggestion to anyone looking to enjoy an over-the-top flavorful meal a short distance off the main downtown drag. Take a break from the hustle and bustle of the crowds, sit down, relax, and enjoy a delicious meal made with fresh vegetables bursting with delicious flavor. Stop in and enjoy your taste buds will thank you. Bon appétit. PS: make sure you save some room for the Matcha ice cream a perfect simple snack to complement your meal!

I should've known it was a bad sign when I walked in and was seated next to a table who got up and left before ordering. Nonetheless, we wanted to give them a fair chance, so we decided to take our chances. My mom and I each ordered a ramen with no substitutions. We were excited to try this welcome addition to Lake Geneva. Our stomachs started to grumble as everyone around us was served. We checked our watch and realized we had been waiting 45 minutes for our ramen. We spoke to the waitress who said there were large parties in front of us and ours was not ready yet. We decided to walk across the street to Tuscan where we were warmly welcomed. 45+ minutes is a steep wait time for a bowl of ramen.

I would give the food a 3 star, but with service I'm adding one more. I called ahead to make sure they can accommodate food allergy and they were very patient in answering all my questions and make me comfortable coming here. Cheese curds and fried calamari are great. Crispy shell with soft and tender inside. Half rib and half chicken (the dark meat) are so juicy and tender. The white meat part was dry. Ribs are in good quality - lots of meat lol The homemade sauce is tasty - sweet, sour and spicy. However, having the same sauce on both ribs and chicken was a little too much. Overall, food and service here are excellent!

Really excellent food. I highly recommend the coconut shrimp, robata chicken, saucy lava tofu, and hibachi shrimp. The sake-tini was also great.

We dined here while visiting the Lake Geneva area after reading the reviews. I wanted so badly to give them a five-star review, but the service was not amazing. We waited over five minutes to be greeted and seated. We waited again for someone to take our drink order. When our drinks finally arrived, they had given my drink to someone at the bar and gave me their drink. My husband ordered the barbecue chicken. About 15 minutes after ordering, our server returned to say they ran out of chicken. Yet, we saw two other chicken dishes come out after we ordered. We pointed this out and our server just said sorry. We think they must have ordered before we did. I ordered the ramen and it was absolutely amazing! Aside from the service, our server was pleasant and apologetic. The ramen is SUPERB.

What a disappointing experience! We were so excited to try the new restaurant with 4.4 stars rating in Lake Geneva especially reading very promising descriptions of the dishes online. I don't even know where to start. It is pretty sad when the best part of your dinner was coming out of the bottle sake. The Bang Bang Shrimps were over-breaded and tasted like old oil. Osaka Wings were over-breaded as well and tasted worse than from the chain restaurants. We were all excited to try so deliciously described ribs supposedly cooked in a very special sauce. What a failure! Boiled a day before, overcooked, without any flavor whatsoever. The mashed potatoes served with the ribs were out of the box, we were charged $6 for grilled asparagus which was not cleaned and therefore half of that was not eatable and $1 for a tiny splash of "house sauce" to make ribs more bearable . I gave 2 stars because the servers were nice but I will not come back. I do not recommend!

Pleasantly surprised to be served Ceviché, salsa, and chips right away since we did not order it. Even better, it was complimentary. Nice touch!! Had the Cantaritos Special. Great presentation!! It's a fruit drink with Tajín and Tamarind. A mini bottle of Tequila is laced with what tasted like Chamoy. It was delicious!! My new favorite drink!! Our food was delivered quickly. We ordered the Shrimp Empanadas with Mozzarella Cheese. Intrigued as I thought it was a weird combination. What an excellent pairing!! Generous portions of Shrimp and gooey Mozzarella Cheese dipped in a sauce that tasted like Thousand Island Dressing. So good!! My husband ordered the Huachinango Diabla. Crispy Red Snapper on the outside and moist, flaky on the inside. Diabla sauce complimented the fish very well. Mild and a touch of sweetness. I had the Mendigo Special. Wow!! So much depth of flavor in the savory soup that had generous portions of seafood; octopus, shrimp, and crab (imitation). Topping of cilantro, onions, and avocado all enhanced the already flavorful soup. The dish comes with this buttery, soft, warm bread to soak up the delicious soup. I would definitely recommend and will be coming back soon as everything tasted so delicious!!

It has a classic-looking front façade, made from crafted wood millwork. Inside, on the lower level, is a bar area and seating for different-sized groups. Upstairs is another dining area that isn't as well furnished, but it is definitely quieter (which is always our pick). We had reservations on a Friday night and got seated right away. Our server got us settled in with water and menus. They have a drink menu with some interesting offerings of hand-crafted cocktails. We settled on a couple of Pinot Grigios, Old Fashioneds, and a Lo Siento. All were very good. After our server (Calvin, who did a great job the entire night) explained all of the specials, we decided on the Seba-tons (Lobster Wontons); the Duck; Lamb Chops; Brrr-atta (Pasta); and the Bronze Medal (Filet). All the food was amazingly good. The Lobster Wontons were hot, flavorful, and crisp (not greasy). Each piece was a good size. We didn't wait long for the entrées to come out. Each of them was well presented, hot, seasoned nicely, and generous in portion. My lamb chops were the perfect medium rare (almost as good the next night when I had leftovers). The potatoes with olives, feta, etc. were inventive and delicious. The first meal we ate here was memorable, but I think this meal even topped that one. Absolutely delightful. We would definitely come back for another meal. My only suggestion would be to add a little more décor upstairs (maybe a picture or two :).

The price for that was $45 per person, fyi. So we ordered from the menu. The Italian Porkchops were dry (overcooked) and not the most enjoyable flavor. The Walleye was a bit dry but good enough and the mashed potatoes were good. The "caprese salad" was just meh. The drink (the Pink Pig Punch) was good albeit a little sweet. In fact, if you don't normally like whisky, this might actually work for you. The staff was friendly and attentive, even with how busy it was. There were a few inebriated folks that nearly fell down the stair or spilled drinks if that gives any indication of the 'fun' being had ;) There is indoor and outdoor seating and the place has a fun vibe. But the food was mediocre, especially for the prices. Go for the fun and drinks but maybe skip the pricey meals.

The bar was crowded and we strode for our first cocktail. We started with a bourbon and brandy oldfashon but we've certainly had better. We switched over with a Tito and tonic and red wine. The wine list was short and surprisingly all the reds were from the US and only one Riesling from Germany with the balance from the US. Sitting down for dinner had nice ambiance and you could hear the pianist most of the evening. They start you off with quite a relish tray providing liver pate, cheese spread, a imataion crab salad, kidney bean salad, beet salad, and assortment of veggies. We then had salads which had a blend of lettuce. My dressing was a fair blue cheese. I also had the French onion soup which did have a very mild and nicely browned cheese topping. The soup was good with plenty of flavor along with a nice offering of browned onions. For dinner my wife had the 7oz fillet (only size offered) and I had the rack of lamb. Both dinner were enjoyed and the rack of lamb was four double cut pieces that were cooked perfectly. I would recommend this dish. Service was attentive and friendly and overall the patrons who seemed to be a regular clientele, were also friendly and we felt welcomed both at the bar and when seated for dinner.
