The kitchen in this bar is small and they do orders one at a time, no batches. I had no idea that when I ordered there were multiple large carry out/door dash orders ahead of me, which meant I had to wait over an hour for my order of wings. Thankfully I had time to waste while watching the game, but no order of wings should take that long, especially without being told about the extraordinarily long wait when I ordered. I will say, once my order arrived, they redeemed theirselves. The wings were large, perfectly fried (tender, juicy and not one bit over cooked) and they were tossed evenly in the flavorful and unique dry rubs. Absolutely no complaints, just pure satisfaction. Okay, okay, they are still pricey, but if it wasn't for that long wait I wouldn't have been bothered by the final check. I was very taken aback by this comment. I did not feel that four drinks constituted a large order, nor did I expect it to cause a significant delay. The comment made me feel uncomfortable, as if I were being blamed for slowing down the store or disrupting the flow of service. The younger gentleman working was very kind and professional, repeatedly reassuring her that it was not a big deal and that everything would be fine. Unfortunately, as this is not the most convenient coffee stop for me, being treated this way made the experience disappointing--especially when there are nearby options like Starbucks or Dunkin' where service is consistently friendly and welcoming. Moving forward, I will likely choose those alternatives to avoid starting my day with unnecessary stress or negative interactions.
