I order from here all the time but tonight I ordered through Yelp which routes you to grubhub. I got confirmation of a pick up time and all. I get to the restaurant and my order never went through. They couldn't even pull it up. I show them my order on the phone and receipt. One of the team mates suggested to call and find out what's the issue but the other one started my order and was very apologetic. Both members took care of me and apologized for me having to wait and the trouble. It was no issue because their customer service was amazing. So let's start off with how bad the customer service was. We called ahead around 830pm last night to try and order a sub to go. And they said that they couldn't take over the phone orders because it was close to closing time. Which is bullhonkey because it would have been the same as walking in within the next 10 mins from when we were going to get there. So that was the first red flag. Second red flag was that when my fiance and I got there they had her waiting in a line before closing just to tell her at 8:53 that they ran out of bread and that's she's well out of luck. Is this how yall run a business!? That's terrible. They did have enough bread for the DoorDash order so I'm glad they're putting DoorDash orders as priority. Good grief. My fiance even explained to them that we had a sick child waiting that whole time in the car with me. And they just shrugged it off. Jersey Mikes is a legitimate sandwich shop! You can't even compare Subway to it. They are truly a made to order establishment that slices your meat like a butcher shop for your sandwich. Name one sandwich shop that does that?! Not any I can think of! You do pay for what you get with such a delivery, so expect to bust a $10 for just a regular size sandwich. A $20 for sure for a full size, but you will NOT be hungry the rest of the day. Their sandwiches are packed with meat. If you like to feel less guilty and add veggie to your sub, that makes for even a more filling meal. A few less veggies to select from compared to Subway. They only have the basics like lettuce, tomatoes, onion, olives, jalepanos, banana peppers, but most likley, if you come here, it's for the meat packed subs, not the veggies! Clean location (which is rare for this side of town,) with friendly and helpful employees. This was my first visit to a Jersey Mike's location and their sandwiches were good (I had a Philly and the wife had a Turkey) their prices seem to be pretty high though. This has nothing to do with the location itself obviously, but just a general observation. I came to Jersey mikes for the very FIRST time on Tuesday 2/6/2024 and the young man in the front was too busy slicing turkey and left me standing there with out saying a word for at least 7min before even acknowledging me. I am a sandwich fanatic I think I love sandwiches as much as I love burgers or tacos. I've eaten the cats deli in New York I've also eaten at some of the best delis here in Houston and the Jersey Mike's right here in umbel Texas is one of the best. Most friendly waitstaff you're greeted with a hello as you walk in the door, if you're not familiar with the menu items ask the prepares they have great suggestions as far as toppings meats and they have a great selection of deli meats that are not of the normal plain turkey ham. They have some excellent choice cuts from Italy that you may not of heard of and don't be shy take a chance be hungry though are usually get a regular sandwich and I can only eat half and I'm a pretty big guy, so if you go for the big one make sure that you are super hungry or have that special someone to share it with. This is one of the places I like to grab and go as it holds well for the short drive to the house but they do have a dining room they do practice social distancing and it's a clean safe environment to eat. read more

Jersey Mikes has been my go to for subs ever since I moved out of New Jersey. Today I go in and this location has taken a bunch of stuff off the menu including ROAST BEEF. You literally cannot get a roast beef sandwich at a sub shop here. There's also always a bunch of kids just hanging out here not eating but playing games. This is supposed to be a business I thought not romper room. I hope the smaller menu is due to Covid but it doesn't seem that way after I asked the employee. Home of many different takes on the Philly Cheese Steak plus many other sandwich offerings. Jersey Mike's is much better than Subway and maybe even a notch above Quiznos in my book. I was in the mood for "something chicken" so I asked the gentleman behind the counter what his favorite chicken sandwich was. He said it was the 42 Chipotle Chicken Cheese Steak so I went with the 7" Regular size and paired it with a bag of chips and a 1/2 and 1/2 lemonade/iced tea. The sandwich was tasty and satisfying. It wont' make you forget the genuine cheese steaks you get on the east coast but was nonetheless good. I also tried some of my bro's Philly cheese steak and it was okay as well. Again, having had several on the east coast, the bar was set pretty high and these sandwiches won't quite rise to that level. If you are starving, I'd suggest going for a 14" Giant sandwich. All in all, we were pleased and would definitely hit up Jersey Mike's again. read more

We have the regular sandwich shops like Subway and Quiznos in the area, so it was nice to have a new option with more hot sammies. I tried the philly with peppers and onions and was very happy with the selection. I think the bread could have been a bit fresher but the steak was flavorful and hot with loads of veggies and cheese. The sandwiches are huge here, so if you've got a petite appetite go with the smallest size...you still probably won't finish it. I will definitely try this place again as they offer a bit of a gourmet option in comparison to the other sandwich shops in the area. read more

My actual star rating is 3.6. I went to this Jersey Mike's today for lunch and had a cheese steak sandwich. It was hot, cheesy and was a pretty decent sized sandwich. My only real complaints were that it seemed to be a little on the salty side and they either need to reduce the thickness of the bread or add a bit more meat. The bread to meat ratio was too high on the bread side. Don't get me wrong, there was a fair amount of meat, but the bread was really large. The flavor of the steak was pretty good (other than being too salty), but it wasn't anything to write home about like Pappa Geno's over off of Ella. The place was very clean and the staff was very nice. Even though the line was long, they moved people through there pretty quick. I'm going to return to try a sandwich, because I was impressed that they sliced the meat for each sandwich when they actually made the sandwich. Both the pastrami and the roast beef looked really good. Had I seen them prior to ordering the cheese steak, I probably would have gone with one of those. For myself and a buddy, it was $24 for sandwiches, drinks and chips. I'd go back for the cheese steak, but I don't think I'd make a special trip for it. First time coming here. Never been to Philly, but I would imagine this is how Philly cheese steaks taste over there. I got the big kahuna Philly cheese steak and it was great. The meat to bread ratio seems kinda high on bread but I thinks it's because the bread is so thick and fluffy. But you definetly get enough steak in the sub. Also don't know if it was a fluke or something but I order the regular size sub and I can say it was about 1 and 1/2 to 2 times bigger than the subways so called 6 inch. The sub was hot and freshly made. It's a little bit more expensive than subway, but I think it's worth it when it comes to Philly cheese steaks.
