Jersey Mike's Subs - #44 Buffalo Chicken Cheese Steak - Sandwiches Near Me - Houston, Texas

I walked in and everybody said good morning. One person said good morning sweetheart, She said what are you in the mood for? I said a 56. She asked a few questions and then started making my sub. 3-4 mins and my sub was ready. Hit the spot. Sam had great customer service. Very sweet read more

I order from here all the time but tonight I ordered through Yelp which routes you to grubhub. I got confirmation of a pick up time and all. I get to the restaurant and my order never went through. They couldn't even pull it up. I show them my order on the phone and receipt. One of the team mates suggested to call and find out what's the issue but the other one started my order and was very apologetic. Both members took care of me and apologized for me having to wait and the trouble. It was no issue because their customer service was amazing. Plus I knew it wasn't their fault but I loved how they stepped up. I will say this is my neighborhood location and I come here frequently and it's always very pleasant. read more

Always great food. Always clean. Just finished lunch. Great crew working today. Busy, but still polite, smiling, attentive. Must have good management. read more

So let's start off with how bad the customer service was. We called ahead around 830pm last night to try and order a sub to go. And they said that they couldn't take over the phone orders because it was close to closing time. Which is bullhonkey because it would have been the same as walking in within the next 10 mins from when we were going to get there. So that was the first red flag. Second red flag was that when my fiance and I got there they had her waiting in a line before closing just to tell her at 8:53 that they ran out of bread and that's she's well out of luck. Is this how yall run a business!? That's terrible. They did have enough bread for the DoorDash order so I'm glad they're putting DoorDash orders as priority. Good grief. My fiance even explained to them that we had a sick child waiting that whole time in the car with me. And they just shrugged it off. I was pissed when she told me that but I wasn't about to go in there an argue with them. To the franchise owner/manager I expect to hear back from yall on this matter. This is ridiculous. read more

Just went in at 8:30pm 30 mins before closing and was told no bread how do you not have bread your a subs place good lord if workers don't want to work just quiet lol. read more

Did a mobile order and asked for no peppers or onions and that's the first thing on my sandwich. Paid for bacon and none was added.

Jersey Mikes is a legitimate sandwich shop! You can't even compare Subway to it. They are truly a made to order establishment that slices your meat like a butcher shop for your sandwich. Name one sandwich shop that does that?! Not any I can think of! You do pay for what you get with such a delivery, so expect to bust a $10 for just a regular size sandwich. A $20 for sure for a full size, but you will NOT be hungry the rest of the day. Their sandwiches are packed with meat. If you like to feel less guilty and add veggie to your sub, that makes for even a more filling meal. A few less veggies to select from compared to Subway. They only have the basics like lettuce, tomatoes, onion, olives, jalepanos, banana peppers, but most likley, if you come here, it's for the meat packed subs, not the veggies! Great service, quickly served, and clean. Cant beat it! read more

Cant go wrong with the cheesesteak large on white. I love the jersey shire favorite Mike way but without the mayo

I had this issue on September 12th I brought the food back the lady acted like she refunded my purchase and said if you don't ask for veggies we don't put it on. I returned both bowls on the same night within5min I still have not received a refund and today is September 25th. So you have the product and my money can you not see the issue take a look at the picture and tell me is this worth 10$ each. I will not give you all my business anymore all I want is my more than 10 day refund. read more

Jersey Mike's Subs - Philly #43 - Sandwiches Near Me - Houston, Texas

Clean location (which is rare for this side of town,) with friendly and helpful employees. This was my first visit to a Jersey Mike's location and their sandwiches were good (I had a Philly and the wife had a Turkey) their prices seem to be pretty high though. This has nothing to do with the location itself obviously, but just a general observation. I think their sandwiches are better than Subway, but not by enough to justify the increase in cost. read more

I visited Jersey Mikes, recently and will be returning. The sandwich was delicious and the store was impressively clean. Shout out to the very friendly staff, as well. read more

Worst ever customer service. It is one hour that I have been waiting for my order. There are like 50 people waiting. There are only 3 people working inside the store to make more than 100 sandwiches. Very bad. This is my last time. I paid the full price I didn't know about any promotion. How is this possible? Bad management, worst service ever. The employees cannot answer you any question. Is this First Country or an underdeveloped one. Because it looks like one. Zero ***** read more

I came to Jersey mikes for the very FIRST time on Tuesday 2/6/2024 and the young man in the front was too busy slicing turkey and left me standing there with out saying a word for at least 7min before even acknowledging me. I only have a30 min lunch and when he finally took my order he said it will be another 5-10 minutes so I left. The food looked very delicious and FRESH although the employee does not have any customer service I will be back to try Jersey mikes. read more

I am a sandwich fanatic I think I love sandwiches as much as I love burgers or tacos. I've eaten the cats deli in New York I've also eaten at some of the best delis here in Houston and the Jersey Mike's right here in umbel Texas is one of the best. Most friendly waitstaff you're greeted with a hello as you walk in the door, if you're not familiar with the menu items ask the prepares they have great suggestions as far as toppings meats and they have a great selection of deli meats that are not of the normal plain turkey ham. They have some excellent choice cuts from Italy that you may not of heard of and don't be shy take a chance be hungry though are usually get a regular sandwich and I can only eat half and I'm a pretty big guy, so if you go for the big one make sure that you are super hungry or have that special someone to share it with. This is one of the places I like to grab and go as it holds well for the short drive to the house but they do have a dining room they do practice social distancing and it's a clean safe environment to eat. read more

Had a pickup order but got the wrong order. Had to return . It took 30 minutes and the food was no longer hot

I love coming here to get to good cold cut Sandwich everything is real fresh and very tasty also I recommend if you're getting a cold cut sandwich as far is (Mikes way) and if you like hot subs they got you covered there too. read more

Jersey Mike's Subs - #13 Italian sub Mike's way - Sandwiches Near Me - Houston, Texas

Home of many different takes on the Philly Cheese Steak plus many other sandwich offerings. Jersey Mike's is much better than Subway and maybe even a notch above Quiznos in my book. I was in the mood for "something chicken" so I asked the gentleman behind the counter what his favorite chicken sandwich was. He said it was the 42 Chipotle Chicken Cheese Steak so I went with the 7" Regular size and paired it with a bag of chips and a 1/2 and 1/2 lemonade/iced tea. The sandwich was tasty and satisfying. It wont' make you forget the genuine cheese steaks you get on the east coast but was nonetheless good. I also tried some of my bro's Philly cheese steak and it was okay as well. Again, having had several on the east coast, the bar was set pretty high and these sandwiches won't quite rise to that level. If you are starving, I'd suggest going for a 14" Giant sandwich. All in all, we were pleased and would definitely hit up Jersey Mike's again. read more

Jersey Mikes has been my go to for subs ever since I moved out of New Jersey. Today I go in and this location has taken a bunch of stuff off the menu including ROAST BEEF. You literally cannot get a roast beef sandwich at a sub shop here. There's also always a bunch of kids just hanging out here not eating but playing games. This is supposed to be a business I thought not romper room. I hope the smaller menu is due to Covid but it doesn't seem that way after I asked the employee. He said that the owner took them off after remodeling. I wonder if the franchise knows the owner has gone rogue. A little ridiculous. You also can't get pastrami or meatball subs either. read more

Went to Jersey Mikes location in Channelview and when I tell you I will never eat a sub anywhere else I mean it!! Subway Imma need y'all to step y'all game up! LOL! The employees were nice and courteous but the chicken ranch sub I ordered was melt in your mouth good! And was I full!!!! Need a location in every part of Houston! And I know the price is a lil higher but it is worth it! read more

A worker talked about me in front of my face. They also gave me the wrong sandwich. I just won't go back to be honest.

Great sandwiches Under staffed, under trained. Absolutely disgustingly filthy restrooms. I've seen cleaner restrooms in the back of gas stations in the ghetto. read more

Always call I. Order or I do it online , my food is always ready and correct and they have a friendly staff Maria always takes care of me.

I had never tried Jersey Mike's before this one opened in the hood, and was pleasantly surprised. We have the regular sandwich shops like Subway and Quiznos in the area, so it was nice to have a new option with more hot sammies. I tried the philly with peppers and onions and was very happy with the selection. I think the bread could have been a bit fresher but the steak was flavorful and hot with loads of veggies and cheese. The sandwiches are huge here, so if you've got a petite appetite go with the smallest size...you still probably won't finish it. I will definitely try this place again as they offer a bit of a gourmet option in comparison to the other sandwich shops in the area. read more

Great menu choices and consistently good food. Having lived in the Philadelphia/New Jersey area, I can tell you the sandwiches taste very authentic and similar to what you would find in the Northeast. Also very reasonable prices. read more

the team lastnight was nice and my sandwich was hot and good!! i believe The store number was 15143

Love this place Cesar chicken wrap the best they really do a great job and they have great sandwiches

My actual star rating is 3.6. I went to this Jersey Mike's today for lunch and had a cheese steak sandwich. It was hot, cheesy and was a pretty decent sized sandwich. My only real complaints were that it seemed to be a little on the salty side and they either need to reduce the thickness of the bread or add a bit more meat. The bread to meat ratio was too high on the bread side. Don't get me wrong, there was a fair amount of meat, but the bread was really large. The flavor of the steak was pretty good (other than being too salty), but it wasn't anything to write home about like Pappa Geno's over off of Ella. The place was very clean and the staff was very nice. Even though the line was long, they moved people through there pretty quick. I'm going to return to try a sandwich, because I was impressed that they sliced the meat for each sandwich when they actually made the sandwich. Both the pastrami and the roast beef looked really good. Had I seen them prior to ordering the cheese steak, I probably would have gone with one of those. For myself and a buddy, it was $24 for sandwiches, drinks and chips. I'd go back for the cheese steak, but I don't think I'd make a special trip for it. Like I said, I'm going to try a couple of their other sandwiches, because they looked REALLY good. Once I do that, I'll do an update here. read more

Good sandwiches but this time it surprised me they were lacking in two categories. First was timing to prepare was too slow and store traffic was nill dont understand but I waded thru that slow 10 minute part...second the amount of bacon amounted to thin Bacon crumbs severely lacking to this customer...I much prefer the thick style Bacon like at the Galleria area Jersey Mikes...I cant blame the workers just their management and staying true to their signature sandwich. Feeling so displeased at this store. read more

UPDATE: I went back to Jersey Mike's today and I must say, I saw a big improvement in the service that I received before posting my last review. I did get a turkey wrap and it was perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The taste was outstanding, it was made with the correct toppings, and the wrap actually looked like a wrap. Thank you, thank you, thank you! read more

I got the number8. Turkey club. Regular for a little over 8 bucks. The rosemary bread is what was good. If you don't really want to put something heavy on your stomach and go back to work. This is perfect and certainly in the hot summer days. I'll come back. read more

I just love Jersey Mike's! I always get the #9. It's made perfectly and quickly! The service is quick and it is very clean!

My husband & I walked in for 2 sandwiches. The lady making the sandwiches was rude, threw the bread on the counter, where there was lettuce, tomatoes and some thing wet with crumbs. She put the other half of the bread on the other side where she was slicing ham that counter was dirty. Then she used a dirty towel to wipe the counter. She heard me ask my husband if that was sanitary and after she used one wax paper to place both sandwiches to make them read more

I recently tried Jersey Mike's for the first time out of town and came back home and tried this location. I was also convincing two of the pickiest eaters that this sandwich was far superior to the typical sandwich offerings in our area.... and Jersey Mike's did not disappoint!!!! read more

First time coming here. Never been to Philly, but I would imagine this is how Philly cheese steaks taste over there. I got the big kahuna Philly cheese steak and it was great. The meat to bread ratio seems kinda high on bread but I thinks it's because the bread is so thick and fluffy. But you definetly get enough steak in the sub. Also don't know if it was a fluke or something but I order the regular size sub and I can say it was about 1 and 1/2 to 2 times bigger than the subways so called 6 inch. The sub was hot and freshly made. It's a little bit more expensive than subway, but I think it's worth it when it comes to Philly cheese steaks. The staff is nice and friendly and the restaurant seemed clean. read more
