I love Jersey Mike's, I really do. This location continually frustrates me though. I know that when I mobile order here it's going to take thirty minutes instead of the 15 quoted. Today I ordered a sandwich for my mom, she gets a 7 plain. The app told me it would be 45 minutes, which is a long time, but I went to pick up something else for myself. I arrived at the location to pick up my one, plain sandwich a couple of minutes early. It's not ready, still not the quoted time so no problem. In total it took 1 hour from ordering to reviving that single plain sandwich. I know that they were busy with a lot of mobile orders, but the organization at this location is not good at all. The thing that frustrates me most is that if I had stood in line and ordered I would have gotten my sandwich almost 15 minutes earlier! Ridiculous. I'm frustrated by the experience I had today. SUPER DISAPPOINTING! I LOVE Jersey Mikes food, but unfortunately, their service is AWFUL! Especially at this location. Tried ordering over the phone and couldn't get through for some reason. Finally decided to come in only to find their OPEN sign was turned off (it was 8:15pm). 4 workers moving at snail speed very annoyed that I came in to order. HELLO?! Don't we want business in a time like this?! Especially on a Friday night??? My husband brought home my sandwiches and he ate the second half of the mini #7 Turkey sandwich he was chewing on hair. It was a woman's hair at least 12 inches long. Nasty!! He noticed when he first came in this afternoon, one of the guys sneezed a few times in front of the meat station and didn't bother washing his hands. He then proceeded to put on the plastic gloves and began taking orders. He also noticed another guy at the cashier, rubbing his snots on his arm after he handed me the receipt and he didn't wash his hands. I'll probably go back in the near future and maybe I'll buy them some hand sanatizers and tell those mF'ers to wash their hands in the future. read more

I stop by Jersey Mike's after my appointments nearby and have found this location to always be quite clean and friendly. The food is so fresh here since they only start cutting the meat after you order on the slicer and do the cooking on the grill. I usually order the Philly Cheese Steak and they always taste amazing here. The price is not cheap but I wouldn't expect it to be for gourmet fast food where you can taste the freshness. The location is in a quaint comfortable plaza and there is both a "Cake Mamas" bakery which serves fantastic boutique pastries and an awesome hair salon, Kut Haus. read more

I love their subs in the tubs but I will say that I also do love the freshness of their breads and all their ingredients put together. My favorite sub in a tub would be their #2 which is the jersey shore favorite consisting of provolone cheese, ham and cappacuolo Mike's way. I am so surprised as how well put together the sub in the tub looks and how filling it is. As for sandwiches I enjoy their big Kahuna cheese steak one with lots of extra cheese, grilled onions and peppers with a nice kick coming from their jalapenos. The staff at this location will have a nice convo with you while making your meal. The place is clean and located by the Cake Mama's so you could have a nice dessert on the way out. +prices are a bit too high for what a sandwich is but the ingredients at Jersey Mike's are all pretty fresh and delicious so in my opinion, it is worth it +sign up for their rewards and email notifications for deals and free stuff read more

I go to the Jersey Mike's in Monrovia, but got coupons in the mail for this location only. OH, IT'S NOT THE SAME...... All newbies in here. We paid first, they gave us a hand written ticket & they told us to have a seat and they would call us when our food is ready... unlike the Monrovia one where you can watch them make your sandwich & instruct them on how you like it (similar to Subway). My favorite is the Club Sub (turkey, ham, provolone, bacon, mayo - Mike's Way!). OH, my husband could tell I wasn't happy with mine here... (guess I had a distraught look on my face.) Hardly any olive oil blend or red wine vinegar on it (I like mine juicy!), NO mayo, and NO bacon!! We told them the bacon was missing and the girl was so nice, she gave us extra bacon on the side. The staff here needs to be more consistant and learn the menu better. The female employee was very pleasant & friendly, however there was a male employee there that just looked like he didn't want to be there & had zero customer service skills. If I have to go to Jersey Mike's I'll continue going to the one on Huntington Drive in Monrovia. I also like the layout of that one better too. read more

Stopped by here since I was in the area for the day. I love jersey mikes! But this location was quite a disappointment. The food was ok. Something about it tasted off, and not as fresh as I usually remember. Service was horrible. Staff was rude, looked like they hate their job and seem quite incompetent as well. I asked for a knife and the woman looked at me with a crazy face and said "um, I can't give you an actual knife but I can give you a plastic one." No sh*t Sherlock lol. Placed my order via phone and paid. When i got there i had on my mask due to Corona Virus. I asked a heavy set lady if i needed to wait or if i could just pick up my order. Freshest bread and meat here! I always order the Famous Roast Beef & Provolone Sandwich with my sister - we usually order the giant size (little did we know that the giant serves 4 people!). In my opinion, the regular size (since we split the giant) is pretty filling; so if you order the mini, the mini can fill you up as well if you don't want to eat as much. They always slice their meat and cheese fresh from the cooler right in front of you. As for toppings, get Mike's Way all day everyday! Though they give a lot of lettuce with their Mike's Way topping, I feel like the extra lettuce isn't too heavy and actually adds to the flavor of your sandwich by soaking up the juices of their sauces! As for extra toppings, I recommend mayo just to add some sweetness! My go-to place for a quick sandwich lunch! read more

They said nothing to me when I came in the restaurant. When I ordered my food they barely looked up at me. I ordered a turkey sandwich and she made me a completely different one. I corrected her and she just took off all the red meat (I don't eat red meat) and put turkey on. Then I said oh actually I said no cheese remember? She just took it off. She would've known my order if she actually looked up at me when I ordered it. She never replaced the sub like you are supposed to. I'm allergic to cheese. She just seemed super mad the whole time. Fantastic service as usual but I was concerned to see there was a customer there without a mask, as I was leaving, I told him he needed a mask but he didn't leave the establishment nor put one on. I'm not sure what happened after I left but I hope employees are allowed to turn people without masks away. We cannot allow this type of behavior as the US reaches 200k new cases a day. Painfully slow, meat cutter only cut the meat, didnt help the sandwich maker at all, the sandwich builder kept asking the same questions,the customer would answer and she would repeat the answer as a question, the meat cutter would get behind ,do you think the sandwich Maker would help the girl wrap sandwiches hell no just stand there and smile, this has happened before at this location and is the reason we go to the store on lone hill.There needs to be some training here. read more

Today I watched Trevor kill a fly with his hands, it landed where he cuts the bread, he picked it up, threw it away, and proceeded to cut bread with the same gloves. I usually come here because the staff is really friendly, however after today I will not be coming back. The guy who rang up my order was in no doubt sarcastically rude. I don't know if he was having a bad day or what, but showing and expressing his negativity to customers is very repugnant. It was unnecessary for any of the smart mouth talk. All I wanted was two combo sandwiches and chips. Even with asking please and saying thank you he seemed to not have any knowledge of the way he was caring himself in such negative way. It's really nothing special- for the price of a "sub" (kinda strange "Jersey Mike" would call these "subs" when everyone on the east coast, Jersey included, knows they are ONLY hoagies! that was a red flag) calling one of these a sub on the east coast would get you booted. Very contradicting Mike! Anyway, back to the food. It's nothing to write home about, it's expensive, way too much oil and oregano on the "mikes way". The philly was not tasty at ALL! They have got good roast beef ,but i've never got close to 13 dollars worth of meat on their $13 giant sub. They are VERY tight with the meat. Maybe because they have to make the roast beef, I don't know. I've been to about 20 different Jersey Mike's and this one is the stingiest. Having never been to a Jersey Mikes and driving on an empty tummy I was a little...hmmm... seeing so many negative reviews for this place. Yet, I gave it a try. It was fairly busy with maybe 15 people in line when getting indie. The line moved a fairly decent pace considering they cut the meat to order. I ordered the Jersey Shore and added jalapenos and pickles. The sandwich was not to bad, the bread was failry light and a bit crumbly. The ingredients are fairly generic along with the meat and cheeses, but you go into that knowing that. Otherwise you would be paying and extra $4 for it. I didn't see the problems with this location, They made my sandwich in front of me and asked what I wanted as it was passed along. Maybe they are learning and improving. Usually I enjoy going to this location. People are friendly and the sandwiches are Usually good. But tonight I was taken back by the sign on the door requiring face coverings before entering. Especially since the guy behind the counter slicing the meat and preparing sandwiches had his mask below his nose, just barely hanging on to his lip. The other employees were wearing their masks just great. But the guy who is slicing the meat and handling it was not covered properly. After waiting awhile he finished the order he was working on, I decided that him breathing directly all over the meat, bread etc was not acceptable. So I told them to never mind about the sandwiches. I usually go to the Monrovia store. Today I came to the Glendora location for the first time. I ordered a giant #13 Mikes way without spices. (Way too much oregano which makes the sandwich taste dirty) I caught the guy who was making my sandwich putting spices on my order, after I clearly said no spices. He apologized profusely, and pulled off the tomatoes and most of the lettuce, replacing both. I was torn about insisting on an entirely new sandwich. Luckily, it tasted fine. The gal taking my money was pleasant enough, but never asked if I were a member of their points club. ( I don't remember the name of it. I joined at the Monrovia store. I guess I don't need to, since she didn't remember it either). When I remembered to ask her about it, she had disappeared into the back... Sigh... No points for me. I have to say, I live right across the street and I wasn't a big fan at first due to prices... But now I am! The student special is KILLER! $6 for any Regular sub, chips, and a drink. The Italian is really really good Mikes way, the Chipotle Cheese steak is awesome(i get extra meat and extra chipotle mayo), and the Club supreme is great also. Mikes way on the cold subs is the only way. The amount of oregano, oil, and vinegar they put on the subs is what does it for me. I'm there almost daily now when it opens for the student special and the service. The service is always friendly and engaging. read more
