I like Jersey Mike's subs quite a bit. They are a little higher priced than other sub stores but the quality is there. During the Covid outbreak they are handling things well. Only giving four stars because sometimes the wait time for a warm sandwich is pretty long for being fast food. On at least two occasions, I have tried to call ahead only to get no answer. I like that jersey Mike's honors their coupons, we all need a little relief financially. All in all a decent sub shop. Is it worth the extra money compared to other shops? You will have to judge that as tastes differ. Fresh, clean food, sandwiches are good size. I would recommend Jersey Mike's. read more

Thank you for an unforgettable experience. Oh, wait... is one star the lowest? Really, Yelp? Yelp should add a "Negative" rating option; you know, just like how Facebook added the "Angry" reaction. So, I'm no angel, I have my flaws. However, I'm known throughout my life to be an individual that's slow to anger, slow to raise her voice, and to always give the benefit of the doubt. I AM RARELY ANGERED! To the point that, after my visit today to this place, my own mother, my own mother that carried me 9 months, and birthed me out of her birth canal, did not believe my angered reaction. HERE'S THE REVIEW: I went in for their "Giant" sandwich. I asked the guy to cut it in halves rather than several pieces, to which he proceeded to. He passed it on to the next gentleman (Lord forgive me for this lie because he was no gentleman) for toppings. He asked me what did I want on my first sandwich. The way they had it lined up, looked different from what I'm used to (Subway). So I kindly said, "oh, I think there was a misunderstanding on how the sandwich to be cut". He looked down and up at the other guy and started mumbling something. I felt awkward because I didn't want them to feel any negativity from me as I wasn't complaining, I was simply addressing my concern. However, he continued to look at the other guy and said, "I don't know what's going on". To which the other man (that initially cut the bread) mimicked his coworker stating, "I don't know what's going on". So I continued to carry my patience proudly and not let their lack of customer service get the best of me. So I kindly, and RESPECTFULLY replied with, "I wanted it cut how 'Subway' cuts it". So the second guy that was assigned the toppings task, looked down at his shirt (where 'Jersey Mike's' is clearly stamped), and carried his head upward toward the menu (where 'Jersey Mike's' is also in fine bold letters). He then continued to look at the first guy to where he threw a sarcastic chuckle and hissed, "this is not subway". THAT'S WHEN I'VE HAD IT! My proud patience escaped my once peaceful mind; to where it switched to lividness. I raised my voice and said, "I KNOW I'M AT JERSEY MIKE'S". My vocal chords continued expanding at both guys and told them if they had something to speak to me directly rather than talking to each other back and forth. The second guy (the toppings station) continued being careless and disrespectful, so I yelled, "You can talk to me rather than looking at him! I'm the one talking to you, not him! So you can reply and direct your words to me!!" The manager (I assume that's the manager), asked him to go in the back and to have the other guy take over. She was respectful and gave me several apologies (I wont deny her that). However, I didn't get my apology from the one that caused this whole thing. I wont lie, both guys were a little off and rude, but at least one of them (the first guy that cut the bread) gave a few words somewhat appealing to an apology (although it was not genuine since he was as well was part of the sarcasm against me). If I were rude, bossy, disrespectful toward them, believe me, I would understand their reaction. But God knows I wasn't!! Again, I am not one to complain easily, or get angered, or even write negative reviews. For goodness' sake, I'm the type of person that feels guilty writing a bad review! I always look for the beaming light in the pitch black place... However, for the first time in my life, I couldn't find that beam of light. I hate to be "one of those people" (because God knows, I'm not), but I am well known in my community. If one were to ask me for food suggestions, I will share my experience with this place, and they can do what they will with this information. If these employees were having a bad day, I pray their day gets better and that God's peace befalls their worried minds. But if you are one of those Jersey Mike's employees, I pray you have a better and a blessed day. I also pray that you would consider the true foundation of not only customer service, but the bare minimum of kindness toward other beings. You never know what the person in front of you is going through, so implying an iota of ignorance, mercilessness, animosity, indecency, and the bare minimum of human to human communication could cause a spiral effect on their heart and mind. Maybe if it were someone else other than me that might have been going through something, they could've harmed themselves because the way you treated them could have added to their already pained heart. How would you have lived with that? Please, just be kind! Regardless, I don't think you care, but I thought to throw it out there. I don't mind returning back to "Subway" and paying extra for their "Fake Tuna", than step a foot in that place again. This was my second time there, and my absolute last!! read more

I love Jersey Mike's, I really do. This location continually frustrates me though. I know that when I mobile order here it's going to take thirty minutes instead of the 15 quoted. Today I ordered a sandwich for my mom, she gets a 7 plain. The app told me it would be 45 minutes, which is a long time, but I went to pick up something else for myself. I arrived at the location to pick up my one, plain sandwich a couple of minutes early. It's not ready, still not the quoted time so no problem. In total it took 1 hour from ordering to reviving that single plain sandwich. I know that they were busy with a lot of mobile orders, but the organization at this location is not good at all. The thing that frustrates me most is that if I had stood in line and ordered I would have gotten my sandwich almost 15 minutes earlier! Ridiculous. I'm frustrated by the experience I had today. SUPER DISAPPOINTING! I LOVE Jersey Mikes food, but unfortunately, their service is AWFUL! Especially at this location. Tried ordering over the phone and couldn't get through for some reason. Finally decided to come in only to find their OPEN sign was turned off (it was 8:15pm). 4 workers moving at snail speed very annoyed that I came in to order. HELLO?! Don't we want business in a time like this?! Especially on a Friday night??? As I'm waiting to order, cause no one was able to take orders other than ONE GUY, I noticed the phone ringing and saw an employee go hang it up without answering. No wonder I couldn't get through! My husband brought home my sandwiches and he ate the second half of the mini #7 Turkey sandwich he was chewing on hair. It was a woman's hair at least 12 inches long. Nasty!! He noticed when he first came in this afternoon, one of the guys sneezed a few times in front of the meat station and didn't bother washing his hands. He then proceeded to put on the plastic gloves and began taking orders. He also noticed another guy at the cashier, rubbing his snots on his arm after he handed me the receipt and he didn't wash his hands. I'll probably go back in the near future and maybe I'll buy them some hand sanatizers and tell those mF'ers to wash their hands in the future. read more

I stop by Jersey Mike's after my appointments nearby and have found this location to always be quite clean and friendly. The food is so fresh here since they only start cutting the meat after you order on the slicer and do the cooking on the grill. I usually order the Philly Cheese Steak and they always taste amazing here. The price is not cheap but I wouldn't expect it to be for gourmet fast food where you can taste the freshness. The location is in a quaint comfortable plaza and there is both a "Cake Mamas" bakery which serves fantastic boutique pastries and an awesome hair salon, Kut Haus. read more

I love their subs in the tubs but I will say that I also do love the freshness of their breads and all their ingredients put together. My favorite sub in a tub would be their #2 which is the jersey shore favorite consisting of provolone cheese, ham and cappacuolo Mike's way. I am so surprised as how well put together the sub in the tub looks and how filling it is. As for sandwiches I enjoy their big Kahuna cheese steak one with lots of extra cheese, grilled onions and peppers with a nice kick coming from their jalapenos. The staff at this location will have a nice convo with you while making your meal. The place is clean and located by the Cake Mama's so you could have a nice dessert on the way out. +prices are a bit too high for what a sandwich is but the ingredients at Jersey Mike's are all pretty fresh and delicious so in my opinion, it is worth it +sign up for their rewards and email notifications for deals and free stuff read more

I go to the Jersey Mike's in Monrovia, but got coupons in the mail for this location only. OH, IT'S NOT THE SAME...... All newbies in here. We paid first, they gave us a hand written ticket & they told us to have a seat and they would call us when our food is ready... unlike the Monrovia one where you can watch them make your sandwich & instruct them on how you like it (similar to Subway). My favorite is the Club Sub (turkey, ham, provolone, bacon, mayo - Mike's Way!). OH, my husband could tell I wasn't happy with mine here... (guess I had a distraught look on my face.) Hardly any olive oil blend or red wine vinegar on it (I like mine juicy!), NO mayo, and NO bacon!! We told them the bacon was missing and the girl was so nice, she gave us extra bacon on the side. The staff here needs to be more consistant and learn the menu better. The female employee was very pleasant & friendly, however there was a male employee there that just looked like he didn't want to be there & had zero customer service skills. If I have to go to Jersey Mike's I'll continue going to the one on Huntington Drive in Monrovia. I also like the layout of that one better too. read more

Stopped by here since I was in the area for the day. I love jersey mikes! But this location was quite a disappointment. The food was ok. Something about it tasted off, and not as fresh as I usually remember. Service was horrible. Staff was rude, looked like they hate their job and seem quite incompetent as well. I asked for a knife and the woman looked at me with a crazy face and said "um, I can't give you an actual knife but I can give you a plastic one." No sh*t Sherlock lol. Freshest bread and meat here! I always order the Famous Roast Beef & Provolone Sandwich with my sister - we usually order the giant size (little did we know that the giant serves 4 people!). In my opinion, the regular size (since we split the giant) is pretty filling; so if you order the mini, the mini can fill you up as well if you don't want to eat as much. They always slice their meat and cheese fresh from the cooler right in front of you. As for toppings, get Mike's Way all day everyday! Though they give a lot of lettuce with their Mike's Way topping, I feel like the extra lettuce isn't too heavy and actually adds to the flavor of your sandwich by soaking up the juices of their sauces! As for extra toppings, I recommend mayo just to add some sweetness! My go-to place for a quick sandwich lunch! read more

They said nothing to me when I came in the restaurant. When I ordered my food they barely looked up at me. I ordered a turkey sandwich and she made me a completely different one. I corrected her and she just took off all the red meat (I don't eat red meat) and put turkey on. Then I said oh actually I said no cheese remember? She just took it off. She would've known my order if she actually looked up at me when I ordered it. She never replaced the sub like you are supposed to. I'm allergic to cheese. She just seemed super mad the whole time. Fantastic service as usual but I was concerned to see there was a customer there without a mask, as I was leaving, I told him he needed a mask but he didn't leave the establishment nor put one on. I'm not sure what happened after I left but I hope employees are allowed to turn people without masks away. We cannot allow this type of behavior as the US reaches 200k new cases a day. Painfully slow, meat cutter only cut the meat, didnt help the sandwich maker at all, the sandwich builder kept asking the same questions,the customer would answer and she would repeat the answer as a question, the meat cutter would get behind ,do you think the sandwich Maker would help the girl wrap sandwiches hell no just stand there and smile, this has happened before at this location and is the reason we go to the store on lone hill.There needs to be some training here. read more

It's really nothing special- for the price of a "sub" (kinda strange "Jersey Mike" would call these "subs" when everyone on the east coast, Jersey included, knows they are ONLY hoagies! that was a red flag) calling one of these a sub on the east coast would get you booted. They have got good roast beef ,but i've never got close to 13 dollars worth of meat on their $13 giant sub. They are VERY tight with the meat. Maybe because they have to make the roast beef, I don't know. I've been to about 20 different Jersey Mike's and this one is the stingiest. Having never been to a Jersey Mikes and driving on an empty tummy I was a little...hmmm... seeing so many negative reviews for this place. Yet, I gave it a try. It was fairly busy with maybe 15 people in line when getting indie. The line moved a fairly decent pace considering they cut the meat to order. I ordered the Jersey Shore and added jalapenos and pickles. The sandwich was not to bad, the bread was failry light and a bit crumbly. The ingredients are fairly generic along with the meat and cheeses, but you go into that knowing that. Otherwise you would be paying and extra $4 for it. I didn't see the problems with this location, They made my sandwich in front of me and asked what I wanted as it was passed along. Maybe they are learning and improving. I usually go to the Monrovia store. Today I came to the Glendora location for the first time. I ordered a giant #13 Mikes way without spices. (Way too much oregano which makes the sandwich taste dirty) I caught the guy who was making my sandwich putting spices on my order, after I clearly said no spices. He apologized profusely, and pulled off the tomatoes and most of the lettuce, replacing both. I was torn about insisting on an entirely new sandwich. Luckily, it tasted fine. The gal taking my money was pleasant enough, but never asked if I were a member of their points club. ( I don't remember the name of it. I joined at the Monrovia store. I guess I don't need to, since she didn't remember it either). When I remembered to ask her about it, she had disappeared into the back... Sigh... No points for me.
