I always have a great time at Wienerschnitzel. Whenever there is a long line it goes by fairly quickly and the food is always good. They have so many choices of ice cream which is funny but it is great too. The only downside it the inside is a little cramped and there is little parking but it is still a well-kept establishment. The order process is quick and easy but as I was the only one in line I sat at the window while the employee stood at the window not even acknowledging I was there and started to count money at the register for awhile be fore charging me for my order. They then gave me my shake and sundae while I waited for my drink and food, mind it you it's 93 degrees outside so after a few minutes I get my food and rush home so that the sundae can make it, I make it home with all my food which is a plus but the cheese dip for the pretzel is so nasty, chunky and smells bad then the chili cheese fries are made with old hard stale fries. I really appreciate the counter crew members and the manager on duty at this location. Im a African American essential worker iust coming in to get a bit to eat for lunch. I had "issues" but when i left, i felt so grateful. They made me feel like a human being. No discrimination, no discomfort, no nothing. Other places, they treat me disrespectful even during this pandemic, but here, they were very professional. God bless them. If I could, I'd get them a bonus for being so considerate. People who waited on me were pleasant enough. I ordered the mustard and onion bratwurst and that was good. I ordered my usual, which is a chili cheese dog with extra onions. I got the extra onions, but the chili was barely warm. The hotdog was barely warm, and the bun was barely warm, which resulted in the cheese never melting. Of course I was not happy about this. This Wienerschnitzel has been here forever and I've been a customer those many years. I think they do a better than average job. My only complaint is that the drive through can be incredibly slow. It's understandably slow if they are frying you corn dogs, but it can be unreasonably slow at times. They are also very fussy about their coupons. A large soda currently cost $3.47, almost as much as a coupon meal. So, water please! That's a corporate setting I'm sure, but something they should look at. McDonald's has them beat there. Anyhow, I like the food. They're pretty friendly. And I'll be back for certain. read more

Some fast food drive thru have a person take your order while you are in line, however... to make the payment, you get to an actual window. I've never had someone come to my car to take payment. Last night I was craving a hot fudge sundae so me and my husband drove to wienerschnitzel in glendora which is right by my house, we come Everytime I want a sundae because I feel like this is the best place near us that we can get one quick and it's always yummy but the appearance is usually not that great, the ice cream comes out looking kind of rushed and sloppy but when we went last night we were helped by the nicest associate named Donald who put so much love into the presentation of our ice creams!! To some it doesn't matter but to me and my husband appearance is everything! I took one look and said now that's a sundae and banana split! I knew there was gonna be a problem when I could hardly hear the person on the drive-thru speaker. I ordered two kids meals with ketchup dogs for my kids. I ordered chili cheese dogs with onions for me. And drinks for all. When she handed me the kids drinks, one spilled all over my lap because the rim on the cup had been smashed. I handed it back and told the person helping me what happened. She said she would get me a new one, but didn't offer much of an apology or even any napkins. There were no onions on the chili cheese dogs, and two of them were pushed thru the buns. Kids and I were hungry...they were really needing to eat, so I added ketchup (and replaced two buns with some from home) and powered thru my onionless chili cheese dogs. I called back and asked to speak to the manager, wanting to express my dissatisfaction with the experience. She said if I brought the food back she would refund my money. Hard to do after I added my own ketchup to the kids for them to eat and ate the chili cheese dogs. Plus, I didn't want to load everyone back into the car. She said all she could do, if I didn't come back tonight, was to take my name and would give me a free combo next time I go there. I have been to this Wienerschnitzel on numerous occasions. I was in there on Sept. 8th, 2019 @ around 6.00 pm. I was utterly disappointed by the chain of events. My order was almost $60.00. At the end of my transaction I read a sign with the information that there was a Sr. discount of 15%, I was not aware of the discount before this and had never been told that there was on offered. I inquired about it and was told that they could not honor the discount with this particular transaction because the order had already been made and paid for. I asked if the order could be cancelled and redone with the discount. I was told no...because they had already starting the order. I told them that should not make a difference as I would be ordering the same items. I was told no in no uncertain terms and to ask for the sr. discount the next time we came in, but it could not nor will not be included with this particular order. I was totally disappointed and wondered if I would be coming back. They did not know if I was in the area or just passing through. This particular place has lowered my esteem for this establishment. Came in rather late (my dinner time has been pushing 8pm for some time now) and service was pretty quick. I ordered the two chili dog combo, add cheese, and a street dog in a pretzel bun. Service was pretty standard, nothing jumped out at me as extraordinary but it wasn't bad either. Everything was good, as it always is. The chili dogs were great, slightly spicy. The fries got whatever chili was let, yum! The street dog was amazing. It's a hot dog wrapped in bacon, topped with grilled onions and, I assume, ketchup and mustard (maybe just mustard). The 5 corn dogs or 5 chili dogs for $5.55 is a great deal. If you're getting three or four of either you should just use the deal because it's actually cheaper. I always see lots of people in eating there, which is a good sign! The only holdup was an elderly woman in front of me who decided to get out of her vehicle and chat with the staff at the window, and they weren't having it.
