Jersey Mike's is my favorite of the mass chains. Baby K had only had Subway so she wanted to try this, to make her favorite sub, basically a ham sandwich. Neither place really has everything she wants on one (ketchup is rare at sub places.) But she liked the version here well enough. The staff were super friendly and patient with us as we described it and she picked stuff. I got a Jersey Shore Fave or whatever it's called. Close to a standard Italian. Good meat, good bread, fresh toppings. Not as many options as at Subway (at least at this fairly small, campus location.) Decent prices for the size and quality. In and out quickly on a Saturday afternoon. Parking sucks, of course, near campus. We found the closest street spot luckily, up 12th. There are a couple tables for dine-in but really you want to get it to go. Air was on on a hot day, so comfy inside. read more

A straight loser working here. The African American older guy needs to be put in check. Asked me if my brain worked and mocked me multiple times infront of a crowd (not that I care) but if someone who didn't understand English, actually had mental issues or social anxiety met this waste of space person I think about those situations. All I can say is I ordered on the app, the bread was cold and hard. What happened to the bread?? The portions where super thin. I had to take the bread and put it in the microwave for 15 seconds to get it nice and soft. This ends my journey with Jersey Mikes as based on a lot of these reviews, seems like this chain has sold out to cheap. read more

Ordered delivery from the app. Received text message that order was on its way. Received another text saying it was cancelled and to call the store. I called 5 times. The phone number does not work. I received no food, they stole my money and will not reply to customer inquiries. Only order from here if you enjoy money being stolen from your account. Sad. read more

Incredibly slow service is bad enough, but when you open your lunch and get hit with a vile, putrid smell you feel cheated. The ruse is confirmed when your vinegar soaked bread overwhelms all of your senses like vics vapor rub and pours into your lap. read more

Immediately was hit with a stench that permeated the entire store when I entered. I thought it was spoiled meat, but it turns out the smell was coming from one of the older male workers. Absolutely vile, I couldn't even eat my sandwich because the stench had spoiled my appetite. read more

Atmosphere, service, and food were all wrong. I had a medical emergency and my food was still not made after waiting over a half hour. Side note- the workers were not wearing head-covers and they were also chewing gum whilst preparing food. I was told it would be a 10-15 minute wait and it ended up being over 35 minutes. After we gave our orders to the workers after waiting for over 20 minutes, we made a comment about how long the food is taking and then I ended up passing out on the floor. The paramedics came and continued to help me while the workers went crazy towards us. After I was checked out and the paramedics were ready to leave I said something again, as the food was still not ready. One of the workers began cursing me out after I started to complain. I stuck up for myself and the same employee cursing me out soon takes off her apron. I could tell what was about to happen so I ran outside. She proceeds to jump over the counter and chase me down north high street, however the paramedics were still there and they stopped her. The employees just stood there like they were sitting ducks and barely did anything. I am more than thankful for the paramedics and the help from people around me. Note that I was passed out on the floor about 5 minutes before having to sprint for my life. I am ashamed at the way the store, customer service, and management has decided to work on the issue. They have not done anything except the manager refusing to give me his superiors name. If u must go to jersey mikes, do not go to this location. Employees are violent and crazy. read more

Stopped in to grab a couple "subs in a tub" to go low-carb for lunch. The store is really clean and the staff was friendly. I like that the meat is sliced to order. I just wish that they didn't put it in a lump on the bed of lettuce in the tub like they do on a sandwich. They're wearing gloves, spread it out a little bit so all of the topics get the oil/vinegar or dressing. read more

I've probably just had one of the best order correction experiences ever here. Unfortunately my pick up order had the wrong sub and normally I would just eat it, but I have celiacs and can't eat gluten. What a disappointment. I'm a fan of this chain but this location just screwed my delivery up legit 5 or 6 ways at once. First they took the toppings from my two sandwiches and reversed them, then added pickles to one for some reason. Also they put the bacon for the club on the roast beef. Then they, for reasons I truly cannot fathom, put the top bread on sideways on one piece. Then I called the store, 40 minutes before close. No answer. Three times. I love Jersey Mike's and go there often. This visit was not up to par. Got a turkey bacon club with extra bacon. Bread was almost inedible because it was rock hard. This is by far the worst food establishment I have ever been to. The service here is completely unprofessional. There have been 6 encounters which were awful. 4 times the store closed 2 hours early... The last time I visited all the employees and the manager were standing outside smoking and wouldn't come for 10 minutes, then I finally received service but the manager didn't even wash his hands after his smoke break, disgusting. Tonight when I visited I had reached my final straw. I walked in 2 hours before they closed and they claimed they were out of bread even though there was a rack of bread behind them. I love Jersey Mike's but this location is by far the worst. I sincerely hope the manager gets fired. read more

Have you ever been on a long drive on a toll road? If so, you've probably had to eat at one of those food courts that are joined with a gas station and by the side of the highway. The main reason anybody goes to those places is that you don't have to go through the toll on your way off the highway and then again to get back on. These places have a captive audience. They don't need to be good. You probably won't complain about what you've eaten there, but you won't be happy about it either and they'll overcharge you slightly. This place is like that, but instead of being by a highway, it's by campus. I came here from campus to get lunch. The staff was friendly and I got the Buffalo Chicken sandwich, as recommended by the guy who makes the sandwiches. It tasted decent. The veggies weren't too fresh, the bread was very basic, and the sauce and chicken weren't anything to write home about. The sandwich did seem to have real bleu cheese in it, which I was happy about. That and the fact that they actually fry their meat (rather than heat it), I really liked. They played what sounded like a classic rock station, which I don't mind, but they played it more loudly than I would have preferred while eating my sandwich. In the future, I'll probably just go to Subway instead. Cheaper and also passable food and you can put more veggies on it. But if you hate subway for some reason, this place is worth a shot. read more

Jersey Mikes is my favorite sub chain hands down. Meat and cheese slices to order and getting it Mikes way is the way to go. My favorite is the Italian. Location here is great for students but parking is always an issue around high st. so watch out for that. read more

Andrew (the manager) here was an absolute God send. My Uncle passed away and my grandmother was devastated. I unfortunately live out of state so all I could do was call her. she mentioned that she hadn't eaten and that more than anything, she wanted a #13 Jersey mikes sub done "mikes way". I called the jersey mikes 2 miles away and they would. not. answer. the. phone. + their ordering function was down. I called 5 jersey mikes, each one further away, and each time i could not get an answer. When I got to this branch (13 miles away) Andrew answered the phone immediately. I was glad i got someone to answer but I thought there was NO WAY they would be willing to deliver that far away. I told Andrew what happened, how none of the other branches were answering and he graciously offered to take care of it. he PERSONALLY delivered it to her! I can't speak for the food (although my grandma is VERY particular about her food and swears that it is the BEST sub she has ever had! So if you're on the fence, def. give the #13 a go!) but the customer service, was ABOVE and BEYOND anything I could have hoped for. Andrew, if you are reading this- GOD BLESS YOU!
