I ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken. But unlike the typical serving of a flat piece of chicken these were two chicken breasts on top of chunky mashed potatoes made with peel on, and topped with a jalapeno bacon gravy. The textures and flavors were perfect and despite the visibility of jalapenos in the gravy, the heat was barely detectable. The side of green beans had a wonderful garlic seasoning and were perfectly cooked and had that nice crunch still in them. Multiple staff came by to chat and ensure everything was perfect and ensure my drink was always refilled, and even management came by to check my table. On top of that, it was so aggressively spicy it was nearly inedible. It honestly felt like no one back there had ever made the dish before. The food, flat out, gets a zero from me. If I could give it a negative score, I would. That said, the front-of-house staff deserves credit. They were polite, professional, and clearly trying to manage an impossible situation created by the kitchen.
