In addition to the breakfast burrito, which came with a side of hash browns, I ordered cheddar broccoli soup and was gifted a brownie for visiting. The breakfast burrito is build your own with a bunch of different options for meats, cheese, and veggies. I went with bacon, American cheese, and spinach and wasn't disappointed. The burrito was hefty and every one of the ingredients stood out. This is something I would definitely come back for. The three hash brown patties tasted as you'd expect and I appreciate that they weren't cold in the middle or bland. You can definitely notice the freshness in the soup. It was thick and used actual florets of broccoli, not just the stalks. Given the size of the burrito I had just eaten, though, I wish there was an option for a smaller portion of soup. The bowl was large and if you just plan on having that as a meal it's fine, but I would have preferred buying a cup as compared to a large bowl. Hopefully that's something they consider as a menu tweak. I'm not a big brownie person, but I enjoyed it. Like the burrito and the soup, it was a sizable portion, so worth the price if you're buying one. I'd be interested in trying their lemon bar or coffee cake on a future visit as those are more up my alley. I enjoyed talking to the woman who was prepping the dining area while I was there. She mentioned that Senor Luna's next door is their sister location and that Miss Daisy's has such early hours (currently 5am during the week) so as to cater to the nearby business park. For whatever reason, I wasn't expecting it to be toasted and I don't think I figured out the online ordering well because it was very plain. The last couple of times, I've been in house and have enjoyed the experience. First of all, their subs are primarily meant to be toasted. I really love their tuna and swiss with all the fixings (including, for a small fee, avocado). It's great! Their subs come in three sizes, skinny, original, and big. I typically get the original, which is still plenty big! Their set up is order at the counter and then move on down the line. Instead of having all the condiments visually in front of you ala Subway, they have a list of what you can get on your sandwich and you just let your sandwich maker at the second stop know (the first stop, you just tell them the sandwich, size, and bread type). They don't have quite as many veggie options as other chains to top your sandwich with but they have enough to give your sandwich a little veggie oomph. Our volunteers have nothing but good to say about the food and the service. Food was DELICIOUS!! The wings,, Chicken Alfredo, Pizzas (even gluten free), Salad with awesome dressings and bread sticks were finger licking good! haha Very well prepared and warmed. The servers are AMAZING! This past Sunday we had the pleasure of having Ivan and Abby serve our event. And what amazing service they provided. No frowns, no complaints, no attitude. Kudos to Ivan and Abby for the great service, smiles and beautiful attitude! They were on it! And they were fun too. Last year the service was so good we booked our event right on the spot. We did not want to lose our spot in having our event catered at Bullwinkles! And to top it off, it was a pleasure to meet with Tina and Courtney to go over the menu and any questions regarding our event. What a delight it was to sit with them and enjoy some good laughs.
