I struggle to give this restaurant only 3 stars. Our sandwiches were nicely made and ready at the desired order time. The problem is that as I was eating my first piece of my giant sub, there was a hair in the center of it. We had left the restaurant and were eating on the road so I did not speak to anyone about it. My lunch was definitely ruined. The rest of the family ate their sandwiches. The staff was very friendly. One of the ladies was singing along to the music which I thought was fun until I found the hair. Over the last 10 years i have been to a LOT of Jersey Mike's Sub shops but i have to say that the Blue Ash location is probably the best ran and most consistent of all. The place is clean, everyone behind the counter from the manager down are very nice and good at their jobs and i have been going there for a year straight now without one bad experience! The staff are always friendly and kind to guests and each other. It's clear that the team here really cares about their customers. I did not have initially a 5 star experience, however, the way the situation was handled by the employee and the manager was phenomenal, and for that reason I am giving this Jersey Mike's 5 stars. So, I decided when I got out of bed this morning that I wanted Jersey Mike's for lunch. You know those kinda days? Where you are going to treat yourself, so you look forward to it all morning. Around 10:30am, I used their online service to order myself a #6 - Roast Beef & Provolone with Mayo, Lettuce, Tomato, Pickles and Salt. Extra pickles and mayo on the side. My coworker found out I was picking up my lunch and put in her own order, which she requested that I pick up along with my own. I don't know exactly what she ordered, but it was some sort of a wrap and chips. When I arrived at 12:15pm to pick up the orders, the place was a MAD HOUSE. The line to order must've been 20 deep! Luckily, I got to walk right up to the online orders counter to give them my name and the name of my coworker. They promptly handed me my coworkers wrap, but then fumbled about trying to find mine. They finally "found it" and handed it to me, but I noticed they had missed my extra sides. I requested these, while I pulled out my sandwich to make sure it was right. I saw the roast beef and the provolone, so I thought we were good and I headed back to work. Upon arrival, I found that my sandwich was ONLY roast beef and provolone. Had I not gotten that extra mayo and pickles, I would have had nothing to put on my sandwich! My coworker also realized they had "forgotten" her chips. So I called right away and the girl who answered the phone turned out to be the one who fumbled around to find my order. She immediately apologized and said she would make it right. She asked me for my receipt number but, whoops, they hadn't given me a receipt for either order in the midst of all the chaos. She apologized again and said if I could make my way back to the store at some point in the day, she and her manager, Matt, would fix it via refund or replacement. I was starving, and had to get back to work, so I said I'd be in later and made due with the sandwich and sides I was given. I made it back over to the restaurant around 2pm and spoke with Matt, who apologized profusely. He asked what would make me happier, a gift card or a cash refund. I asked for the refund. After processing my refund, Matt also gave me a coupon for a free meal to return. He explained that today they had to send home a sick employee, were operating with several newer team members, AND they had one of the busiest days in the history of the store. He didn't say it like he was trying to make excuses, more as reassurance that they don't typically operate as poorly as they did today. I've worked in fast food before--so I understood and appreciated his explanation. As far as my coworkers chips, he said the person that provides my order SHOULD have reminded me to grab the chips, but that they do ask the customers to select their own. A good thing to know! Anyway, I have had a lot of poor dining experiences recently, and none of my complaints have been handled this well, so Jersey Mike's on Cornell gets my stamp of approval. (Worth noting that I ate here last month and had a wonderful experience and my sandwich was DELISH.) I will be back! read more

Poor quality control. We used to order from here weekly, 4-5 sandwiches per order. Not any more. Over the last several months, there wasn't an order made correctly. Online ordering more or less should ensure you should get what you order, but never the case here. More recently, they started leaving off major toppings (like bacon on a club), or made the sandwich pictured, with a total of 1 slice of turkey and 1 slice of Roast beef on a regular. I attempted to make contact through their website, and never heard anything back from the franchise manager/owner. They dont care. Its a shame because the food is good when made with any semblance of care/pride. read more

Very clean restaurant to eat in every time I have visited. The bread is very fresh and baked daily. The meat is sliced for each sandwich and very fresh! The people taking my order have always been very professional and very nice. Today one of the young ladies continued to comment about a mistake or something she did against the rules or regulations will slicing my meat. She definitely wanted the other two employees to keep quiet. Definitely not the norm in this location at all. Usually excellent customer service/care. read more

Delicious sandwiches, but rather expensive for just a deli sub. Better tasting than Subway, but a footlong is about $9! If you get a large sandwich, add chips and a drink, you could find yourself paying $12 for lunch. The line isn't too bad here, but watch your order carefully - the staff breaks up work on the line, and is in such a rush to get through orders, they may skip a step or forget one of your sandwiches. At lunch, this place is filled with business-casual professionals from the surrounding offices. I recommend the club supreme, Mike's Way. read more

Sandwiches are always inconsistent. Do not order a hot sub as you cannot watch what they make. You will get the wrong thing. Employees don't write down what you order. They offer 3 types of bread and will get it wrong. If you don't order it mikes way they act so confused. Soda machine will have 2 or 3 sofas needing syrup. read more

So good and so fresh! Unlike other fast food sandwich places, they actually slice the meat and cheese right in front of you! They also pile it up so you get a great hearty sandwich. The employees at this location are so nice! I also like that they have so many different types of potato chips to choose from. NOPE NOPE & NOPE I order lunch here usually once a week and I order the EXACT same order. I typically utilize the online order feature as it is very convenient for me. I picked up my sandwich and headed back to my office. Once in my office, i pulled back the bread to put mayo on my sandwich (i get it on the side) and i noticed my sandwich had vinegar on it. I figured no big deal and I wrapped the sandwich back up to take it back to the store to have them re-make it (yes - i did check to make sure i ordered it correctly and the no vinegar option was marked). I arrived back at the store and handed my sandwich to none other than the girl who made it! She immediately said, "there ain't no vinegar on this sandwich 'cause i made it". She then opens the sandwich right on the counter and said "see no vinegar. I know i didn't put vinegar on your sandwich but I can make you another one". At this point i asked for a refund. SHE STILL TRIED TO ARGUE TO ANOTHER ASSOCIATE IN FRONT OF ME! *eyeroll* I'll i wanted was a delicious sandwich without vinegar, I did not order a side of attitude. Not a percentage of the proceeds - 100% of every dollar spent in a Jersey Mike's store that day goes to charity - in the case of this store and all of the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky stores, that charity is CancerFree KIDS. Everyone who goes to a Jersey Mike's on the Day of Giving is there for the right reason, and if the wait gets a little long or mistakes are made, everyone understands! Everyone is so generous and patient and kind! And the employees are so enthusiastic and wonderful - even though it is such a long, busy day for them! If I had the chance to give it a negative star I certainly would. My co workers and I order 3 to 4 times a week from this location. March 28 was 100% donation of sales to cancer free kids so we definitely placed orders that day. 3 of 4 orders were wrong. I phoned after the lunch rush to report it and was given every excuse in the book by Matt, 50% co owner. He also made sure I knew that "no one made any money today, it was all given to charity", almost like it was a burden to him. SHAME, SHAME ON YOU MATT!!!!! He not once offered an apology, an offer to make it right or stopped talking over me long enough to hear me out. I concluded the call because I was extremely frustrated and severely disappointed in Matt, 50% co owner. He also told me there was no need to go over him to report my complaint. So, I stopped in there the next day in hopes of resolving this issue in a more calm and personable manner, but he remained exactly the same, absolutely combative... to me, the customer. Also I quote, "If you are not here to offer a solution, I'm calling the police"!!!!!! Wow, Matt, just wow!!!! I have gone out of my way to frequent this location over the other closer location because of the service for months, but that abruptly ended once I encountered Matt, 50% co owner of the Cornell road location. Best sub shop in the city. These guys make sandwiches with love! The meats are cut fresh, the veggies are always top notch, and the bread is freshly made as well. This location is out of this world! They have both sub lanes open 99.9% of the time (well when I visit, which is often), and the service is incredible! Meats and cheeses are sliced fresh as you order your sub/wrap/boxed salad. I would go out of my way to make it here any day of the week. Such a great staff!
