So I ditched the au jus the next day and open faced it like I do in my air fryer with jalapeño slices, roasted red pepper deli slices, and banana peppers. I added a shmear of mayo and a lil mustard. It was really good. Packed some flavor in there. For dessert I got a white macadamia nut cookie because they were all out of their toffee crunch cheesecake. Hubs guilty pleasure is their colossal carrot cake so he got that. It wasn't colossal this time but he was fine with that nonetheless. One more thing to note: If you have their membership and have points, you can get a free ice tea or a 6" sandwich. They will not apply it to a 12".
