I'm a fan of McAlister's Deli, so I frequent various locations often. The food is made fresh and I…read morelove their potato salad. This location is pretty close to me so it's pretty convenient although it's not my favorite location. I say this because even though the main food order is right, they normally forget to add a pickle in, or I order a large potato salad and sometimes get the regular size. I started ordering the large because they often don't fill their already small container up. I have had times where it's a scoop and you can see the bottom of the container and sides around it. I'm like come on lol, I paid for this. But because I carry out or my hubby goes he doesn't check. But the good news is this time-I had a full container and that made happy! As well as both of us got our pickles! It's the little things. I normally order the Italian 12" and hubs gets the Spicy Turkey 12". We eat half and save the other half for the next day. But this time I veered and ordered the Chicago French Dip. Tip: Put it in the air fryer the next day to crisp and warm it up! 400° 5-7 min is perfect for us. And I'll add some jalapeños and banana peppers-so yummy. I forgot that I had ordered this before but remembered as soon as I took a bite. It's kinda bland, to be honest. It has carrots on it too which is kinda weird for me. That's just me though. It doesn't distract from the sandwich though so don't be scared. Lol The roast beef is a thicker cut so if you prefer shaved, this isn't that. The au jus is not beefy just salty. So kinda underwhelming. So I ditched the au jus the next day and open faced it like I do in my air fryer with jalapeño slices, roasted red pepper deli slices, and banana peppers. I added a shmear of mayo and a lil mustard. It was really good. Packed some flavor in there. For dessert I got a white macadamia nut cookie because they were all out of their toffee crunch cheesecake. Hubs guilty pleasure is their colossal carrot cake so he got that. It wasn't colossal this time but he was fine with that nonetheless. One more thing to note: If you have their membership and have points, you can get a free ice tea or a 6" sandwich. They will not apply it to a 12". So order two 6" if you want the 12" and you'll get one free. They won't substitute for a cookie or cake though. Not at this location at least.

Another bad experience. The majority of the time when we eat here in the evening, the order is…read moreincorrect, the people are not polite, no napkins, no utensils, the food is made weird. Workers seem too busy talking amongst themselves to be bothered with customers. Do better, McAlisters.

Not at all what I was expecting (which was a good thing). I had braced myself for unimaginative,…read moresuper processed bar fare, but everything tasted fresh and was prepared thoughtfully--even the French fries were hand cut. The server was a little silly--singing loudly, off-key and auditioning material as sports commentator, but she kept our glasses filled and brought our food out piping hot. No one else seemed to mind, and who can't use some levity? Prices were reasonable. Interior is uninspired, but the owner came by and introduced herself and talked about the work they're doing bit by bit.

Cute and comfortable place for a bite to eat. It probably has a great crowd on game nights…read more We arrived just as they opened on a Sunday. We were expecting a crowd, but we were the only customers there aside from a gentleman sitting at the bar. A few more tables were filled by the time we left. There were six of us and most of us ordered burgers and fries. The burgers were good. The fries, not so much. Everyone that had fries agreed they were bland and tasteless. Mark had the bologna sandwich. He said it wasn't "thick cut", but rather more like several of pieces of bologna fried together. He was disappointed. One person ordered potato skins for their lunch. I didn't ask, but I saw they looked small and a bit dry and sad. Service was great, but the food...at least what we ordered, was lackluster.

The bad: -The jerk fries were very undercooked, good flavor but you can look at them and know they weren't finished cooking. 5/10 The ugly: -Was quoted 15 min, took 40 min to get my carry out order. I would return to try other Mac bowls, seems to be their specialty. I would love to see a seafood option offered for the Mac bowls (lobster etc). I would also like to see maybe some hand cut fresh fries for the loaded fries to justify the high pricing. Happy Hour pricing is great!!!!

There are so many different variety's of mac n cheese, sloppy joes, chicken etc. They also offer Koolaid, which makes me feel like a kid visiting my grandma. The Mac n cheese stole the show. It's just so good. The cheesiness is perfect, the macaroni was cooked perfectly. I am so impressed with the flavors that were bursting in my mouth. The cornbread was absolutely delicious. The texture was amazing. It was so light and buttery tasting. I didn't need to add anything at all to it. It melted in my mouth. The fries were perfectly seasoned and crispy. I got all sides and the price was very decent and the portions for sides are nicely sized for someone that eats off the kids menu.
