WHAT HAPPENED?!?! I should've known when I got there around 11 and there was no line. I ordered two bagels, blueberry and pretzel. Got home and I couldn't tell which was which. The blueberry bagel had one single blueberry, was quite hard, and tasted like nothing. This is not what I remember! I don't see this place last much longer.

I have heard this used to be a great bagel place. It is not now. The bagels are crunchy on the outside but gummy inside. They put so little cream cheese on all of the bagels we ordered that you can't tell the difference between the herb cream cheese and the chive cream cheese. I'm from NY originally, so these are not what I'm used to, but they are not good. I understand that their location in Findlay market keeps them busy but the food is sub par at best, IMHO. Go elsewhere for bagels.

    Bacon egg & cheese

Place was moderately busy, 4 people waiting in line. I've been here before and gotten decent service and food. It seems that everything they once did well is gone. Food isn't great, prices gone up and service went down. Forgot half my order as well as a coffee. And look at the size of the egg on their "bacon egg and cheese" btw you have to pay extra for cheese

For the first time I've had a bagel sandwich outside of the house in years, this gluten-free one was solid. The wait was long for all of the awesome varieties (like pretzel everything, roasted garlic asiago and more) for the flour-processing friends. And, I hope one day there will be more GF options to try! The place is also very tiny, with a New Yorky Bodega vibe so don't expect to sit and leisurely dine. There were also cans of pop like Vernors and Cherry 7up for $1 which was cool.

    Very old bagel.

My 12 year old son wrote this. I agree completely. Really bad experience. 4 days might be generous. "1. The bread tasted like they were cooked 4 days ago 2. My flavored cream cheese had no taste and hardly and spread around the bagel 3. There was only one person working visibly and that caused it to take awhile 4. It was a really small store but they had cool pictures on the wall Finally that make me wonder why they have 4 stars while I feel like it deserves a 1 star"

My family and I used to travel 3 hours, every Sunday, for these bagels. They were without a doubt the best bagels we've ever tried... but then things started to go down hill. For starters, we would never pay the same price for our orders (that were always the exact same sandwiches)... on some days we'd pay 24, others 22, then on some only 15 dollars. Sometimes ingredients (such as schemers or bacon) would be missing. We never questioned as to why because we thought the bagels were worth it, despite the dry service. The only friendly server was an older man (whom I assume was the owner) that always charged us 15 for our sandwiches. Unfortunately, this past Sunday was the last straw for us. We placed our pick up orders the day before making the three hour drive to Findlay market... when we arrived, we found the shop closed. We never received an apology NOR did we receive a refund. We paid nearly 30 dollars ahead of time for sandwiches we /never/ received. That was it for us. WARNING: OWNER HARASSES REVIEWERS, even on Instagram

First time visiting the area and there was a line outside this place so I decided to check it out. The staff was working their butt off and they were super efficient. I got an everything bagel but there was literally nothing on my bagel -- I was very disappointed.

Nothing beats a bagel sandwich! Unfortunately, I came to OTR bagel bar at 11am on a Sunday, so the bagel options were extremely limited. I got the raisin bagel, husband got the salt bagel, and grandma got the sesame. We all loved our sandwich! Price seemed a little much for a bagel sandwich - it was $6 for bagel, egg, and meat then you pay extra for cheese and other toppings, but overall was delicious and would come back!

    Sammy bagel. Order it! Heavenly.

Really really good bagels. If you go bagel and cream cheese it's a reasonable price, the bagels sandwiches are overpriced. There are some tables and chairs, but it's not a super great place to dine in. I recommend carrying out. The service is good, they turn the bagels over pretty quickly.

Bagels are fine, they look oddly wrinkly. Service is slow and there are far too many flies and the workers didn't seem to care.

The food is outstanding across the board--from the steaks to the cheese sticks--but the real star is their bread pudding. It's absolutely worth the trip from anywhere in the tri-state area. Parking is also easy and convenient, with a garage right across the street, as well as their own lot and additional street parking. Highly recommend if you're looking for a great meal and an even better experience.

They have a charming patio at the back of the interior space as well. I didn't realize they have their own lot, but in case it's full, there is plenty of street parking nearby. The service was excellent. Our server was very attentive and kept drink refills flowing. We ordered the pretzel and beer cheese and the poutine for starters. The pretzel was huge and tasty. I didn't care for the beer cheese, probably because I was expecting a more solid cheese product. I would describe this more as a cream sauce. It didn't seem to have much cheese in it and was very 'liquidy'. Also the ramekin was only half full. If it had tasted better, I would have asked for more, but as it was not, we didn't even finish what was given. I thought it was a bit pricey at $12.95 for one large pretzel. On the other hand, the poutine was fantastic! A very unique take on the dish with a mix of cheese curds (although they reminded me more of pieces of mozzarella sticks), french fries and Andouille cream gravy. I ordered the fish tacos which consisted of Blackened Salmon, Thai Chili Sauce, Black Bean Corn Salsa, Pico de Gallo. My order came with two and they were fantastic! Since Blinkers is known for steaks, I will have to give them another try at dinner time.

Normally, I find hotel food is just okay and nothing special, but Coppin's was a pleasant surprise. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess, and our equally pleasant server quickly brought menus and asked what we would like to drink. When it was my turn, I happily ordered Coppin's Old Fashioned. I was the odd man out because everyone else ordered the Spring Manhattan. Judging by how quickly everyone's drinks disappeared, I'd say they were all very tasty. I was a little unsure about mine at first, so to make sure the quality and taste were consistent, I ordered a second, and it definitely was not a mistake. I ordered the B+G biscuits (which are made by hand according to server in the hotel) and gravy with an extra egg. Others at the table chose a variety of dishes, including the CVG, Cobb Salad, Bagel and Lox, and several other selections. Based on the clean plates all around the table, everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. My wife ordered a sample of banana bread, and I was fortunate enough to snag a small bite, it was excellent. After we had all finished, everyone agreed that my niece had made an excellent choice for her graduation celebration brunch. As my wife and I made our way back to Louisville, we both commented that we would definitely return the next time we were in Covington.

Going back and forth on stars for this one. Me and around 30 of my coworkers came into town for a…read moretwo day workshop and they got us a room block at this hotel. I ended up being in the North Building and cracked up when I walked into my room and saw I was in one of the Lightwell Lofts (a few of us ended up in them by chance, guess they included them in our room block lol). While the room was super cool and beautiful, there was a lot to be desired. After taking a million photos of the gorgeous room, I quickly realized a major flaw - the bedroom is upstairs, the bathroom is downstairs, and the staircase between the two is a crazy narrow spiral staircase. As someone that gets up to pee in the middle of the night, having to traverse the spiral stairs was terrifying lol. One of my coworkers actually swapped with someone who had a "normal" room because he was worried about falling down the stairs. My downstairs tv wouldn't turn on. I fiddled with the remote a bit, tried rearranging the batteries, but couldn't turn it on. I used the ipad in the room to put in a maintenance request, but no one came. I figured I would just let the front desk know when I headed out to dinner that night. Hours later, the front desk calls me to see if anyone had come to fix the tv - they hadn't. The girl was very nice and apologetic, she said I sent the request in the middle of a shift change and someone had accidentally marked it as complete. So she said someone would be right up, and he did come up. Handed me a handwritten note and a $25 coupon for Coppin's which was totally unexpected and a very nice gesture. Turned out, he knew exactly what the problem was - he said the remote was broken and he was supposed to swap it out but forgot. Gave me a new remote and all was good. He also mentioned there is a second remote upstairs for that tv. After he left, I went to look for it - there was no second remote. We held our meetings in the Scheper Room, which was also beautiful. The room was absolutely freezing the first day and I'm someone that prefers it a touch colder and was uncomfortable. We had to get them to update the thermostat and then in the afternoon it was way too hot. We had food brought in from the hotel and it was all fine, nothing super memorable. There was soup at lunch but the sign didn't even say what it was - just "chef's choice." The Italian hoagies were way too big and needed to be cut in half, I couldn't even finish half of one. The salad with fruit/pecans/etc was my favorite though. They had the completely wrong password on the tables for the Wifi but thankfully we figured it out quickly that we just had to use the room password. The second day for breakfast, there was yogurt on the menu and even on the sign with all the food - but there was no yogurt. Some of my coworkers were specifically asking for yogurt so we had to request it directly because it was included and paid for. Box lunches to take to go on the second day which were fine, I had the chicken caesar salad wrap. Housekeeping didn't come to service my room until 5pm when I was in there getting ready for dinner, so I was not able to get the room serviced. Just asked them for some more coffee. My conditioner in the shower was empty but I didn't bother reporting it after the tv issue and I had my own conditioner with me, so used that. The lotion at the sink was so thick that I could not get it out of the bottle at all, I had to use q-tips to get it out (it was nice quality, just kinda useless if you can't get it out of the bottle lol). Great local offerings on the mini bar and in the fridge. My coworkers and I got a kick out of the "intimacy kits" because we were on a business trip haha. The Magic 8 ball was fun, I loved the conversation cards even though I just read a few of them to myself haha. Even with the bedroom upstairs, it was nice to have the big double closet in the bathroom hallway so I really was just in the loft to sleep and kept all my stuff downstairs. The location is great, lots of fun stuff right nearby. The courtyard is lovely. I would say this is a solid 3.5 stars but since we can't give half stars, I'll give it a 4 because the staff was overall very nice and quickly fixed any issues, just a little annoying that we had any issues at all.
