Bagel sandwich was dry, overcooked and something I would expect a college freshman to make in their dorm room with a toaster oven and frozen meat. Great prices on some very good bagels and very good servings given the cost of the sandwich. Service is quick and friendly, and they have a pretty good selection of different options every day. Probably my favorite thing is you can get a day old donut for 60 cents, that's the kind of quality transparency we need in this world. We actually got lost and ended up a few miles from our original destination. Maybe Yelp can help locate great coffee and bagels? One block down on the right! We definitely found great bagels. They are very reasonable priced, too. The variety is large. If you order creme cheese, beware, they will put it on heavy. We decided on the breakfast special of sausage, egg, and cheese on a 1/2 croissant. It comes with a Small Coffee for $5.50. We also got day old donuts for 60 cents each. Not only was the price right, but the food was pretty good. The staff was friendly and had things well organized. I just love fast service. Who goes here? I often asked myself that every time I passed this place on my way to work or to Bruegger's for an overpriced bagel. Well now I do! This place it pretty good. I stopped in one morning for work because I was starving a knew my plan of going through my day without breakfast was dumb. Upon arrival I could barely get into the door, the place was littered with Hughes High School students, Even the staff looked a little peeved that there were so many of them in there at once. I pushed through and managed to order myself a sausage, egg, and cheese "omelet" sandwich on a croissant and then stood back and waited....and waited. I did learn the cookies were pretty good because literally every kid that came in ordered them, requesting that they be warmed up. I ended up picking up a few chocolate chip for myself while I waited forever to get my food. The breakfast sandwich was pretty darn good for $3.50; better than anything I would have gotten from Mickey Ds. The cookies were also quite delish (better than Insomnia's overpriced stuff). I will definitely be returning here for lunch. The traffic of students in the morning was a bit much for me. But I will definitely swing by again! read more

Great local place! I hope they stick around! I have been coming here for a while. I think their sandwich deals are very affordable and with consistently good quality. I often go with a BLT on an everything bagel. I hear that there cookies are really good too. (I once met a guy while waiting for the bus who couldn't stop talking about how good the cookies were!) I do worry though that they'll get pushed out by competition like Einstein Bros Bagels coming in. The atmosphere at Bagel Brothers though is totally different. I may have high standards for bagels, but Bagel Brothers is sub-par regardless. To answer the question of "how are you so cheap?" is easy - the bagels are tiny and light! The amount of cream cheese they plop on the bagels accounts for about 75% of the weight and volume of the entire sandwich. The first inkling that this establishment isn't a good one was the day I discovered that they're closed on Sundays. This is a sacrilege! I've never, known a bagel shop that is closed on a Sunday. I have only been here once(maybe twice?) and I remember getting the most insane bagel I have ever had. I got one with bacon and chives cream cheese and the bagel literally had an inch of the stuff spread in between the two sides. (HYYUUUUWHAAAA?!?!?!) It took me a long time to make it to this place, but it has secured a go-to spot on my list of lunch shops. They offer a pretty large selection of sandwiches on bagels, croissants, and deli bread. They also have daily soups. The bagels aren't huge, but I find the sandwiches satisfying for a lunch. They offer delivery and box lunches-which we've ordered for client meetings and everyone was pleased with their meals. Bagel Brothers is a really neat little hole-in-the-wall place to grab breakfast or lunch. They have an expansive menu and cheap prices. It's a great college town deli. I love their cream cheese - I could be wrong, but I THINK it's homemade. Anyway, I get the Everything Bagel with Veggie Cream Cheese (my staple food), and the cream cheese actually has big full vegetables in it! They really cake it on there and I always end up having to take a lot of the excess off. I suppose I should start asking to go lighter on the CC! I've also tried some of their lunch food, like the pasta salad, and it's good as well. Basically, Bagel Bros is just what you would expect from looking on the outside! Good, but not overly amazing, cheap food that does the job. Plus, they deliver! Which is amazing. This place is awesome! The owner said they've been open for over 15 years. The prices are cheap, no different from subway price, and as a college student on a budget, I remember the affordable locations! I think people just don't know what to order when they go there. There are so many different types of bagels and cream cheeses. They have sandwiches ranging from Turkey Bacon Clubs, to Reuben's, to even a simple and delicious BLT. I love that it's family owned, because I know the people running the establishment are a family that spends time together and not some corporate sleezebag after just you money. I also like that it's low key. Sometimes my friends and I will go in, grab sandwiches and some coffee and study until class. All in all, give it a chance. The staff is super nice and remember that like a lot of the places in the area, the staff is all college student just trying to make it by. Don't expect fine dining experienced college students. As a Cincinnati Law alumni, Bagel Brothers became a staple breakfast routine when I was in law school (right across the street!). Fresh bagels in the morning for really great prices! You can also get bagel sandwiches for lunch. It's usually fast, and they have veggie cream cheese that actually has fresh chunks of veggies in it! At a close second is the strawberry cream cheese. They also provide packages if you need catering, and coffee. Never was a huge fan of their coffee, but not really what I go there for anyway. read more

I really do enjoy this place. One of few remaining independent places that offers breakfast in CUF. Never had a disappointing meal here. Classic foods for every day meals. Very reasonably priced.
