Sandwich was fine, just as expected. It's the customer service that is my issue. While heading into work, I stopped to get a sub for lunch. It was 9:57 am. The door was open. A worker guy yelled at me.. seriously yelled at me, that they were not open for another 3 minutes. I said ok and did not approach the counter. I stood by the door, reviewing messages. He yelled at me again that I needed to leave. He yelled as if he were a guy with a huge problem. I said, "OK, but you do know the door is unlocked". Really rude and aggressive. read more

I'm torn about how to rate this Jersey Mike's. While it was everything I expected walking in, it's not my preferred location. I was in the area and needed a quick lunch fast, and since I enjoy their subs, I stopped in on a whim. Walking in, I already kind of knew what I was going to get. I always get the #9 without bacon, but I still like to review their menu to see if there's any changes or weekday lunch specials. (hey, you never know!) I'm also a Jersey shore points member, so going here on the regular helps me earn free subs. Plus, their foods consistent and that's great. The guys behind the counter were helpful and got my order correct. I went with the mini #9 (no bacon) and a soft drink since I was dining in. (to far of a drive home and I was literally starving.) Food came out great, service was quick and food was just as I ordered. The down side? Place could have used a good cleaning for the seating area. Looks like it may have gotten hit during the weekday lunch rush and nobody had bothered to wipe down the tables. I'm not OCD about it or anything, but the few open tables all had crumbs on them. Plus, they have a lot of two tops here, so seating's tight. Even sitting by myself I felt a bit squished. Anyway, I come to this side of town semi regularly whether it's to see my dad, hit Nino's or eat at the restaurants in the area, so I'm sure I'll be back in one fashion or another. I love Jersey Mike's Subs, in general, but this location is not consistent with their level of service. I didn't have a problem the first time I visited this location; the order was excellent. However, the 3 times that I returned, there has been a problem. They don't write your order down, thinking they can "remember" what you ordered. However, each time I've noticed they either didn't include something or didn't prepare my sandwich according to my request. The last time I ordered online, but when I arrived to pick up my sandwich at the requested time, it wasn't ready. I'll now try to find a more reliable location. read more

I used to think these were the best subs. But no longer. Today will be my last purchase. The prices have slayed rocketed and the subs declined. My regular tuna has a scant amount of tuna on it. $18 before tip for regular sub, two can drinks and a bag of chips!!! DONE. read more

It's located at telegraph road, in between Mobil and Starbucks. It's a brand new sandwich hub. Right now offering free subs if you donate $1 for charity. Seating capacity of 40 pax or more. All brand new equipments, ingredients and dining area since they just opened last Wednesday. Crew members are friendly. The only suggestion I could think of is they should ask the customers first if they want to eat dine in or to-go. My sandwich was set on the bar. Nobody ask if we would like to have drinks or something else. There was no label to describe which sandwich is which. There's a number to differentiate the order. We decided to go out since we didn't feel like eating in the dining area. There are a lot of crew members standing on the other side of the counter. If you want to watch a game, there's flat screen tv mounted on the wall. You start to order from the right side of the bar. It's a selection of cold or hot subs and wraps. They also offer drinks. Unfortunately, while checking out the cashier did not ask me if I want to purchase a drink. As for the bread, the selection is limited to white or wheat bread. For cold subs, they make the sandwich In-front of you. As for the hot subs, they'll hand it over you all wrapped in a white paper, before you could even ask for extra slice of onions, tomatoes and dressings. Unlike Subway, you have more choices of toppings. At Jersey's each sandwich already has its own set toppings. So before you end an order, communicate with the crew member what additional toppings you want, so far..no extra charge. For the taste. It's very good. Bread is soft. My meatball sandwich is better than the other sub. Although I'm not a beef lover, their famous philly sub is also amazing! For the price, they are a bit higher. But if you want to satisfy your cravings, Jersey Mike will make you feel full and happy. read more

I came to this location because of the free sandwich coupon I received. I have never had Jersey Mike's subs before. Boy did they leave a lasting impression.. there was a big bossy lady behind the counter yelling at two of her only staff members. She wasn't friendly when I placed my order and seemed like she had a problem when I asked to get my sandwich toasted. She started yelling saying "I'm sick of these free sandwich coupons and the same people keep coming in using them and I'm going to start turning them away!!" Everyone in line was just rolling their eyes. Not one staff member was wearing a mask and the big lady was talking over every sandwich that came her way. I understand they are short staffed and all, but I didn't feel comfortable in the slightest. I've been there twice within the past week and both times I had the same experience. Food was great but the chubby guy with the glasses behind the counter was rude. I didn't get a welcome when i came in (from either of the 3 employees) either times, not even when I approached the counter. The one guy makes rude comments about customers for no reason, was not accommodating (wouldn't even put some oil in a to go cup for me) and is overall unpleasant. The food is great, as always! My major complaint is with the customer service. I have been coming to this store since it opened, and always had kind, friendly service. I hadn't been there in a while, and it looks like they changed out the entire staff behind the counter. 2 of the 4 young ladies had serious attitudes, and I noticed one snapping at a customer in front of me when he asked for toppings on his sandwich. I repeated my order 3 times and they still got it wrong. When I noticed that the order was wrong when they were making it and mentioned it, I could sense the attitude. Hopefully the old crew comes back, or they get some new employees who know how to deal with paying customers. I'll stick with the Orchard Lake location.. read more

Jersey Mike's has to hands down be the best franchised sub place I've ever been to. Hot or cold sandwich you can't go wrong with either, though I would recommend for first timers a classic sub Mike's way. It's unbeatable. The picture I posted was also to highlight how nice and respectful the staff is. I always feel a little rude when I change the items on sub but this little note made my day! My last visit sealed the deal for me in terms of never frequenting the maple/telegraph Jersey Mike's sub shop. I ordered a sandwich online for pick-up and when I went to pick it up, I was told they didn't have my order and that I must have ordered the sandwich at the other telegraph location. I provided the employee with my order number, and she just shrugged and walked away. So, I went to the other telegraph location, and guess what? They did not have my order. Why? Because I didn't mistakenly order it at the 2nd telegraph location. The crappy employee couldn't be bothered to see if the order was backed up in the computer. With gas near $5/gallon, this is just unacceptable. The manager didn't even apologize. It is not acceptable to waste people's time and money in this manner. read more

Management of this location better get a hands on their employees. They are the same two ladies that work / close every-night. Major attitude problems who snap at customers when they repeat their order multiple times, bc they do not listen. This is the second time I've gone in around 730-740p in the last week to find out their grill is off and they "ran out of bacon." Closing time is 9. What ? I asked the lady to spread out the mayo vs using a bottle bc the mayo was put away for the night and was rudely told no. As I was leaving, the other lady told me I need an attitude adjustment, but reality is, I repeated my order 4x, still had to correct it at the end and was told to adjust my attitude. LOL. So I had a not so good experience today at this location. They have a meal combo listed sandwich, chips, fountain drink for under $10 on the glass window where the sandwiches are made. The young girl making my sandwich said I can't have the combo. Due to Covid19, the fountain drink machine is shut down. Advised me to get a bottled drink. As I'm saying to her the sign need to be taken down and that I know it's not her fault. She raises her voice to me and yells " MAM STOP." I can give you $2 off. I didn't want $2 off and now you just raised your voice to me. When your running a business you have to make sure you don't have signs posted that are misleading.
