Place has deteriorated with new ownership. Orders constantly flubbed. Huge family always behind counter eating the food.

On my second visit, I tried the blackened shrimp and corn cakes, and that dish alone inspired me to finally leave a review. Every ingredient was so vibrant and delightful, with flavors that complimented each other beautifully. The sweet corn cakes combined with the heat of the shrimp and the creamy avocado were perfect. The various textures made each bite even better. My friend also loved the american waygu burger. The place was pretty packed around 4:30 pm on a Saturday, but service was still pretty quick. Our waitress was also super sweet and attentive. Definitely one of the best dinners I've had in the area. Amazing spot!!

My nephew who lives nearby treated us to an al fresco meal recently while visiting for a family event. My pulled pork smashed burger was everything you want in a packed meat sandwich, with an onion ring and tangy sauce on the brioche bun. The sweet potato fries and a refreshing mocktail to drink made for a perfect meal. Sweetie ate a pasta bolognese (I think) which looked and ate good, and drowned it with a nice glass of red wine. It was packed on the Friday night we visited, with folks lined up for seating, or to hang at the bar and enjoy the bar scene. No reservations. Our late dinner worked fine as the mostly millennial and Gen-Z crowd started thinning shortly after we arrived. Millburn has always been a draw for neighboring townsfolk in search of a meal out. I remember this foodie town from 25 years ago, when its pizza, kosher and diner offerings were top notch. It seems to have upgraded its food scene several notches since my last visit so many years ago. Pure nostalgia for me which made for a very flavorful evening. TOP TIP: Street parking in this part of town is a hassle and the local cops keep a sharp eye for illegally parked cars and inebriated drivers. So park further away from the center of town where you are more likely to snag a legal spot on a busy night.

It feels more like a gastropub than a bar or homey pub. It's a very welcoming spot, just a little more sophisticated than the local town pub. The bartender is amazing. From memory, there's a white sangria and limoncello-based drink that I really love, and a smoky spicy margarita or tequila type one too that I like too. The bang-bang shrimp are my favorite app and I can make a meal of them if I'm only mildly hungry (I use the lettuce as kind of a wrap). I really like the chicken diablo sandwich. The burgers are really good too if I'm feeling heartier. The mushroom and swiss with caramelized onions is my favorite bc if I'm gonna do a burger I wanna get my hands a little dirty (see photo before I demolish the presentation). Pickett's is always in my rotation whatever the occasion. It's also the type of place you could grab a bite or a drink at the bar alone, no problem. There's even a little corner of the bar that's kind of hidden from the entryway and dining room if you're feeling shy about lone wolfing it or you want a more private place to cry into your beer. Been there done that and no one will even bat an eye.

I guess I give this place overall a 3.5, instead of just a 3. This place caught my eyes as an asian…read morerestaurant in the area and relatively good ratings, but felt that everything was pretty average. I went with a group of 3 and all ordered ramen and the karaage appetizer, but the karaage was just slightly crispy and barely had any flavor, the sauce really saved that dish but definitely would pass on that dish. All 3 ramens were average. The pork cha shu was tender though which was the highlight, but overall broth was pretty standard. Particularly my miso ramen didn't have that much flavor. Service and staff was a bit slow, but food came out pretty fast. Overall not bad, but will probably give this place another go sometime and try some of the other dishes.

I ordered a black garlic ramen and a kids meal (katsu) for my son, they came pretty quickly and they look delicious!! My son's katsu is super hot and crunchy (he said he doesn't want to eat it prior the food come, and ate 1/2 of the chicken!!) that means did you great!!! Rice was a little hard to be honest and corn was ok.. I kinda put them in my ramen.. the black ramen was good.. lots of spinach and thick piece of pork (chasiu).. soup was thick but not too thick!! Noodle was cool perfectly.. only thing is I have to pay to get the egg, but it was cook perfectly!! My son agree since he ate the entire egg.. would definitely come back again.. I wonder if it would get super busy at lunch time since they don't have too many tables (10 maybe), they might be a line out the door.. but 11:30 was a great time!! And parking is just across the street!!

Since it's my first time I was kind of confused as if they are open since the place was kind of dark. We ordered the duck bao buns, which were very bland, served without any sauce, and one even had a bone in it. We also ordered the pork belly ramen and seafood ramen, seafood ramen priced at $28 . Unfortunately, these were served in a way that felt unsanitary, with the waitress's thumb touching the plates and inside the bowls. It was very strange and honestly pretty gross. The seafood ramen included crab legs, but we were never offered a crab cracker, and the scallops were overcooked. The broth was decent, but nothing mind-blowing or worth the price. The seating was also uncomfortable. They use high armchairs that felt awkward and impractical. On top of everything, I couldn't get a receipt because they had run out of paper, and I later realized I was double charged for the meal. The one positive is that our waitress was very nice and polite, but unfortunately that wasn't enough to make up for the overall experience. We won't be coming back.

This is a nice quiet spot, nice atmosphere, great service from the waitress. I started off with the chicken dumplings, probably the lowest rating food I had. I'll give it about a three and a half, that's because it was a little too wet. The chicken was solely in the middle, so there's a lot of dumpling, not a lot of chicken, i did enjoy the peanut sauce. Then I had some sambal sauce, vegetables, chicken and white rice on the side. Now that was really, really good. Nice and spicy, a great mix of vegetables, very fresh, very filling, super surprised by that. This establishment honestly deserves to be a lot more crowded than it actually was. It was very empty in there, I was the only table in there. But overall, just great service. In addition to that, I was also able to spin a wheel for spending over 60 bucks and got myself a free drink the next time. Highly recommended, pop out if you're in the area. Great overall. .5

The vegetables are always fresh, the curries and food are consistently DELISH, the portions are the perfect size, and their brown rice is the best I've ever had -- not the typical flavorless brown long-grain rice, it's dark brown, hearty, and yummy. My favorite dish is their Thai red curry with tofu, but you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu! My mom Sonia and our family are huge fans and always stop by when we're around. Kevin, the owner, is so friendly and always makes time to greet us and those who pick up food. We will forever and always be back. Highly recommend checking them out.
