This is a 3.5, as I thought the food was OK. The bacon was tough and eggs cold. There were 5 of us and we were seated promptly. Lots of cool booths with the retro feel. Coffee was Ok but it was nice and hot. My kid had a half of French toast and she ate it all. Another with French toast and bacon, hardly ate anything. Th last ordered strawberry pancakes, ate two. My husband had eggs over easy, hash browns, English muffin and a rather large piece of ham. He had some leftovers. I had waffle, eggs and bacon. The service was good and the place was nice and clean.

    Veggie Omelet

We have driven by this place many times and finally decided to check it out. They were pretty busy on a Sunday morning. We were seated quickly. I ordered the veggie omelet and home fries. It was delicious! I really liked the ambiance. There are cool license plates on the wall. Will definitely go back. The prices are fair for the large portions. Staff is very nice.

This place is definitely a great classic diner and must try. I've been here 3 times now and everything I've tried comes out great. I've had a veggie omelet, I've had the French Toast, and today I have the waffle and eggs. The waffle was a touch softer than I like but It was good. My mom has tried the patty melt, and the biscuits and gravy and she lives it all The ambiance is a beautiful decorative dinner with Route 66 vibes and and classic diner furniture. It's spacious and clean and the busser is always making rounds to clean The servers and hosts are always friendly and welcoming and I've never had to wait to be seated. They are always good to check in on us if we need extra coffee or water and they always get our order to perfection. Again, you definitely want to come here and try Jenny's out. You won't be disappointed

Absolutely beautiful slice of salmon. The portion size of this place is well worth your money and the food is amazing. I don't really have anything else to say except the owner is a really nice guy and the service is always good.

For a diner, this one is good. I've had a few things I didn't care for but the basics are good. You get good food diner food for a great price. It's fast paced because the crowds build like crazy depending upon the day. This is NOT 5 star dining. It's a diner with good food. If you're nearby, TRY IT!!!

Found this cute little place right above Redlands. As you can see, the quantity of food was amazing. The quality was just as great. The mushroom omelette breakfast plate ...delicious. Our waitress was super friendly. We'll definitely be returning.

Pastrami-a must try! Very fresh bread and well seasoned Pastrami Sandwich

Who knew this little bistro/lounge at the Bear Springs Hotel in Highland, Ca. would have such a delicious menu? Oh, and they change the dining menu options ever so often. They also have a full bar menu for drinks as well. The vibe is upscale casual. There are two dinning areas at the hotel. One is the bistro (for more quiet dining) and directly across the hall is the lounge, where food and drink are also available. Great spot for a fun date night. On Friday and Saturday nights in the lounge, there is live music from 6-9pm. You can just order drinks and enjoy the music in the lounge, but you're gonna want to try the food too-it's yummy! The Bear Springs Hotel Bistro & Lounge is not just for hotel guests. It's a go to spot for locals, vacationers and those visiting the Yaamava Casino. Check it out.

This weekend we checked in and everything was going smooth as usual when we noticed the stomps and banging in the room above us. We stayed in 203. I called the front desk and told them it sounded like kids running back and forth. They apologized for the inconvenience and said it would be address. Needless to say, the running back and forth continued most of the night. I called again after breakfast (apple sausage was amazing) and complained that the running back and forth and stumps was still happening. The tall white guy manager named Josh or Jason did a horrible job of handling it. He kept trying to move us to another room and said there's nothing else he could do. I was like really? It's our anniversary weekend and we're forced to spend it like this? I almost went up there and knocked on the door myself out of frustration. Later on in the evening around 6:00PM, I called to complain again and spoke with Samantha. Now this is a real manager!!! She said that she went up there and heard for herself the ruckus they were causing. She then told me that if this continued, she would ask this guests to leave. The running and stomping stopped shortly afterwards. This year we have spent upwards of $40,000 with Yaamava and really enjoy coming to this casino. Had it not been for Samantha, my wife and I were planning to never come back and go to Morongo for our next outing. Good job Samantha, you retained a valued guests. Sidebar - smoke alarm went off at 6:00AM. Called the front desk and they said someone pulled the fire alarm. I think we're gonna just stay at the hotel on the casino property in the future. It's just too much going on at Bear Springs.

This is a low-key, "local vibe" kind of diner ~ do not go here for ambiance or high end cuisine. That said, the server was friendly and helpful with the menu. We both had burgers and fries/onion rings - I had the Ortega burger with cheddar cheese, 5/5, SO GOOD!! WILL GET AGAIN!!! I knew the burger would be good, this place is your "typical diner" - however, I was actually blown away by it!! Fries and onion rings were delicious too!! Salty, crunchy and perfectly cooked. Ranch sauce was fire too. My BF has been eating at this place for years now, and has nothing but good things to say about this place as well. We can't wait to go back soon and try the Mexican food, as our server recommended trying that cuisine. Based off these experiences and the friendly head nod from the cook as we left - we'll be back and will try something new. I actually look forward to trying breakfast there as well, at some point soon, as I heard the people seated behind us talking how good their waffles and pancakes are. Please try this establishment, I hope you enjoy as much as we did!

The food portions here are very generous, and the pricing is extremely fair. Just like any diner the menu is very large and has a lot of great options on it. Service was very fast and friendly, and they are true champions with staying on top of the drink refills. There is a large free parking lot right in front so parking is very easy and close. Inside is pretty small, they have about six booths and twice as many counter seats so if it is busy, you may have to wait a little bit, but it will be worth it. For this visit, I chose the Chili Cheese Omelette and really liked it. I wish it would've had less beans and more meat but overall I can't complain because I finished the entire thing. They also do four eggs for their omelettes so it is a bit larger than you will usually get. As mentioned the coffee is great and they will continue the refills the second you need it. It's located in sleepy Running Springs, which is in between Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear. It's less than a 10 minute drive from both locations so it is a really great option for breakfast when visiting. We will be back next time we are visiting the mountains.

The only reason I knew where to go was because I'd recently been here for a BBQ pop‑up in their parking lot. When I pulled in, the lot was completely full, but I managed to snag the last spot, which already told me something good was happening inside. The moment I walked in, the place gave classic homestyle diner vibes... small, cozy, and smelling like someone's grandma was in the back cooking with love. I was told to seat myself, and the staff checked in shortly after. The menu is huge, so it took me a minute to decide, but I went with a Denver omelette done "scramble style." No hesitation from the kitchen, they made it exactly how I asked. It came with home fries and a short stack of pancakes. My food arrived hot and fresh in about 10-15 minutes. One look and I understood why the parking lot was packed. The scramble smelled amazing and had that comforting warmth you only get from a true home‑cooked breakfast. The pancakes were fluffy, hot, and honestly way better than I expected. Everything tasted fresh and satisfying, the kind of meal that makes you slow down and enjoy your morning. I couldn't finish it all, so I took the leftovers home, and even reheated the next day, it still tasted pretty good. Between the friendly staff, the generous portions, and the very fair pricing, I think I've found my new go‑to breakfast spot. I definitely enjoyed my meal.
